The end of school had quickly come, so as soon as the bell had gone off for the end of the day, Raina Riele had quickly dashed to her brother's car.

RonReaco was her older brother by about a year or so, and he had recently passed his driving test after failing more than enough times.

As they were kind of running late for their job, they really had to hurry in getting changed and everything.

Every two hours they had worked, they could have had a twenty minute break. Their job wasn't really that long though, only five hours or so.

Something like that anyway.

They had worked for one hour and fifty five minutes right now, with Raina Riele realising last minute that she really needed to talk to RonReaco about something.

She could have done so in the car, but that thought hadn't crossed her mind on time.

It had kind of sucked that even though the two of them had worked together, they had worked in completely different sections.

Raina did the main meals.

RonReaco did the desserts.

And Krushems.

When no one was looking, that was when Raina Riele had decided to go over and talk to her brother, quietly whispering his name under the table.

She wasn't allowed to leave where she had worked unless she wanted to get into trouble or unless it was break time, but she didn't care.

Pssssst. RonReaco.

He didn't hear her, or he decided not to hear her instead, that was until Raina had pulled on his trouser leg so hard for him to scream.

When he had seen her underneath the table, he had freaked out completely, wanting to know why the heck she was there in the first place.

I really need to talk to you.

He rolled his eyes, then he had joined her from underneath the table.

Can't it wait till we get home or something? I don't want to get in trouble by Gabrielle.

Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) was their boss.

Depending on her mood, she was either hostile to them or she wasn't.

She shook her head, then she had watched him as he had looked at his watch in frustration.

We go on break in three minutes. Can you wait that long?

She nodded, then she had headed back to her station, where a little seven year old freckled girl with ginger hair known as Evelyn because of her bracelet had looked at her.

She had actually been waiting for Raina Riele to come back from talking to RonReaco since, not realising that she could have pressed a bell.

And she would have returned.

Workers would have initially gotten in trouble if a customer had to press the bell so they had to avoid doing that.

"May I help you?"

"My mum ordered a Skittles Krushem for me ten minutes ago and it still hasn't arrived!" Evelyn had wailed at Raina Riele, hugging her teddy bear really tightly.

Raina just sighed in frustration like RonReaco had done earlier.

Then she rolled her eyes.

"What do you want me to do about it?"

Then she started chanting that she wanted her Skittles Krushem and she wanted it right now, with Raina Riele accidentally on purpose screaming at her to shut up.

If there was anything she didn't like about this job, it was impatient customers.

Especially the young impatient ones.

It made sense if they had to go somewhere, so they had limited time, although most of the time this wasn't the case so impatient people had really driven Riele insane sometimes.

Raina Riele had limits, with Evelyn crying at the end even though she had done the damage.

Raina wasn't even in charge of the Krushems or the drinks in general, her brother was.

Either way, Gabrielle had a go at her, telling her that if she was rude to anyone one more time then she would have gotten kicked out of the job and she meant it.

"But-"

"No buts," she snapped. "You understand that?"

Raina Riele wanted to hurt somebody so bad...

But she had just took a deep breath and nodding instead, giving Evelyn a smile through gritted teeth at the end.

"Good, now go and give Evelyn what she wants."

She then pointed out that she wasn't in charge of drinks, though Gabriella didn't want to hear it.

Reluctantly, Raina Riele had then gone over to the place where they had to make Krushems, with people going on break.

She had done the skittles Krushem like Evelyn wanted.

Maliciously adding a tad bit of salt to it, because damn that girl was salty.

No pun intended.

It was kinda their fault too for taking by far too long, but she didn't have to make an entire tantrum over it.

She had then given it back to her, smiling at her, with Evelyn not knowing what she had just done.

"Thank you!"

"Don't mention it," Raina Riele beamed.

Gabrielle had been watching her the entire time, hoping that she hadn't added anything she shouldn't have done.

Raina lied and shook her head.

She was literally just about to go, that was until her brother had hugged her from behind unexpectedly because she needed to talk to him about something.

They had seventeen and a half minutes left of break now, so she had to get talking.

Where to begin, where to begin?

Right.

"I screwed up, RonReaco!"

"Haven't I heard those words before..." he trailed off, sighing.

His sister had then playfully whacked him with her hand, causing him to stare at her.

He rolled his eyes.

"Aight fine," he added, surrendering. "How'd you screw up? Lemme guess- Leilani?"

She nodded.

She had thought that her life would have been better off without him but it wasn't.

It was at first.... but things didn't stay that way.

Raina Riele didn't even know why she had left him, she just did and now she had regretted it more than anything.

"Sounds to me like you got grass is greener syndrome. This is why mum and dad always tell you to appreciate what you have before it turns into what you had, but you didn't listen," RonReaco explained to her harshly, folding his arms.

He was absolutely right though.

And Raina Riele really couldn't have denied it, no matter how much she wanted to do so.

He would have also told her to pray about it however, he didn't.

God might not even have been able to help her out of this situation.

And it didn't help much that Leilani was thriving in his new friendship group called Unsuspected Love with five other people.
