♥️Chapter III♥️

Even though Leilani didn't actually have any lessons with Raina Riele today except from one though, for some reason, he just couldn't have stopped thinking about her.

It also didn't really help much that they had sat right opposite each other on the bus either, as there was no other space.

He had tried to avoid staring at her on the bus but he couldn't; and anytime Raina Riele had caught him staring at her, he would have normally (and unsurprisingly too for that matter) received a dirty look from her.

Raina Riele had ended up leaving the bus two stops before Leilani did, with her happily walking home from school with her cheerleader friends, who had coincidentally lived on the same road as her.

Sheniqua and Bianca did anyway.

Goodness knew about the rest of them.

Leilani wasn't going home straight from school today though because he was going to the library instead, with his adopted sister Sienna Rose as well as their friend Rayselle too.

Every Wednesday fortnight, there would have been a concert, where people would have had to book before hand to apply for.

He hadn't told his parents about this though, neither of them did.

They wouldn't really have minded either way, they were going to a library after all.

Those watching the concert didn't necessarily have to book anything though. Despite this, everything was a first come, first served basis.

Only seventy five people maximum could have gone to the concert fortnightly, with twenty people having to be there minimum otherwise the concert wouldn't really have taken place.

Twenty people was just the perfect minimum amount to be fair.

Any less than that and what was the point of even having the concert in the first place?

There wasn't one, exactly.

A digital machine at the front of the doors where people could have gone to for the concert had normally told someone how many people were in there at at time.

A maximum of ten people could have booked to sing or do whatever they wanted to do at the concert with the mini concert only being two hours each time.

Ironic how everything was at a library because libraries were normally supposed to be quiet, although the librarians didn't really seem to mind much at all.

If someone had booked to go to this concert before then they couldn't have done so again for the rest of the month, to give other people a fair chance to book too.

Some people had used pseudonyms, wearing disguises and changing their voice. It was a smart idea at first- that was until some hosts of the concert had realised what they were doing.

Putting a stop to this once and for all.

They had additionally therefore forbade them and people in the future that wanted to do this to stop doing all of this unless they wanted to get in serious trouble.

And they didn't.

Before one had actually gone inside though, some security guards had checked if they had had anything illegal or dangerous on them.

They never knew, some people could have been carrying guns around for whatever reason. And one had done so in the past before.

They didn't even use it though.

They didn't even get caught either.

So what was the point of having a gun if they weren't even going to use it in the first place?

To intimidate people.

They also didn't really have a life either.

Because if they did, then they surely wouldn't even have been carrying guns around for no reason, but that wasn't even the case here.

What the library had looked like? Here:

This was the left hand side of the library anyway. The concert had taken place on the right hand side instead.

Even though Leilani, Sienna Rose and Rayselle had missed the first act, there were only fifty seven people in the library as of right now.

It wasn't on a Friday because not that many people had gone to libraries on a Friday, from Cyprus High School anyway.

Those that were here right now didn't necessarily have to go to the high school, most people didn't somehow.

Anybody was welcome to the concert either way.

"Damn, for a concert that was hosted by our school's library, there ain't even that many people from our school here," Rayselle had realised when they had walked in.

Sometimes they would have had special guests here, but that was normally at the end of the show to surprise people, as long as they had kept themselves clandestine as well.

This concert had been going on for four decades, it was 2021 now. Once, they had even gotten Tupac to perform here somehow, along with Nate Dogg as well as Notorious.

However God rest all of their precious souls.

All three of them had just walked into the library after the very long queue of people. Rayselle wasn't wrong though, there were about twenty people here that did actually go to their school.

And thirty seven that didn't.

Those that did actually go to their school weren't people in which any of them had talked to though.

Leilani had even caught some people shooting him dirty looks from across the room because they knew about him and Raina Riele.

Usually, the kid would have cared immensely what other people had thought of him, with Raina Riele convincing him not to do that instead.

But this time?

This time, he didn't even care that much.

He had even smiled to himself as people were seemingly gossiping about him- that was until he had realised something.

Someone actually.

Two of them in total.

"Yo, look y'all," Leilani had stated, pointing at two very beautiful girls that had seemed to be arguing with each other over something. "Twins."

He had kept on tapping Sienna and Rayselle like his life had depended on it, that was until they had looked in the direction of the twins.

The twins had looked pretty familiar too, but none of them could have really detected who it was, aside from Rayselle.

"Ain't that Sitara and Serenity? Those girls in our science class that we know but we don't actually talk to?"

Sienna Rose didn't know them because she didn't have any lessons with them, and by the way Leilani was looking- it did look like them.

Because it was them.

They were really genuine and sweet people, with now being the perfect opportunity to go and talk to them before the second act of the concert.

Which was exactly what they had all done as of right now.
