Yuya

I still thought of what Jaden has said to me. 

"Zarc may be a counterpart of you, but you have to accept of what had happened to you in the past, Yuya. 

You have to embrace him." 

How can I do that? Ever since Riley or the original Ray defeated Zarc in the final battle of the Dimensional War, and Riley was reborned as an infant.

I still remember the terror, the battles I've fought as him, destroying most of the people closest to me.

I said, "I don't know if I can be able to live with myself after what I've done."

That was when I was faced to face with my counterpart... the one who changed my way of Duel-entertainment forever.

Zarc.  

Zarc

I saw Yuya in front of me. Even though we are the same person, it was pretty rough on him. He had no idea of the four Dimensions , and in doing so, he was involved with dealing the anger I've consumed through my duel-entertaining. 

It was silent for a while, as if we don't know how to make an conversation, but I knew that I have to get Yuya to smile once again. 

"Yuya, please talk to me." I said, trying to get Yuya to say something to me. 

"Why? Why should I talk to you? You were the whole reason that I became a monster, and I was not able to control your emotions. My emotions." 

I said, "Yuya, I'm so sorry. I didn't know that my actions would turn out this way."

He seems to be at lost, it seems that I was not making this conversation any easier. 

"Listen, Yuya, I just want to say, I'm so sorry , about what I've done when we became one. I didn't mean to cause you to feel guilty." 

He said , "You were the one who started with whole mess in the first place, Zarc. It's not like I want to things to go back to things are , but it seems not like it is the case. " 

I said, "Hey, I know that you must've hated me when we were bonded and I want to be friends like you did with our other counterparts." 

He blinks at me as if I was insane. 

Jaden

I was walking in the school yard when I noticed an familiar person who was unconious. It was Yuya . 

"Yuya!" I exclaimed as I run towards the standard duelist as he was not opening his eyes. 

Yubel slides as she asks, "What happen to him, Jaden? " 

I replied, "I don't know, but Yubel, maybe I can use my Supreme King powers to go into Yuya's self- conious.  " 

Yubel said, "You better be careful, Jaden. " 

I said to the spirit, "Calm down, Yubel, I'm not going to do something reckless." 

She sighs as I laid back and focused on my energy with my Supreme King powers I've suppressed within me.

As I opened my eyes, I notice two duelists and one of them look exactly like Yuya, which could mean that duelist must've been Zarc. 

"Yuya?" I asked which cause both duelists to turn as Yuya's eyes became widen as if seeing me in spirit form wasn't that surprising to him.

" J- Jaden! How you find me?" He asks as I crossed my arms, "I found you laying unconious in the school yard. 

What's going on?" 

Zarc looks at me, as if I was a total stranger as he raises his Duel Disk. 

I begin to grin, "You really want to battle me? I guess I don't have any choice but accept it. Get your Game on!" 

Yuya said, "Zarc, you really want to do this? Jaden is just a friend of mine. " 

"I want to see how good he is for myself. Besides, he's a duelist from the Fusion Dimension, isn't he?

I guess he has to duel against Starve Venom Dragon, right?" 

I blink, "Did you just say Starve Venom Dragon? I never heard that card existed before in Duel Academy." 

Yuya rubs his head, "Well, that dragon is my dragon, remember that Yuri and I are counterparts of Zarc?

In some way, the duelist you see before you is an version of us. " 

"You mean this is the same Zarc that you became one and nearly killing your friends?"

Zarc blinks, "Yuya told you huh? I guess that I have a lot to make up for, and I'm looking for a fresh start, just like Yuya is right now. " 

The way I seen Zarc's eyes, something tells me that he was actually telling the truth. He really wanted to make up for what he has done to the dimensions during the Dimensional War, and he wants to show Yuya that he has changed .

Yubel looks at me, "You still want to consider a duel against Zarc, Jaden? He's a counterpart of Yuya, and Yuya isn't the type of person to be having a battle right now." 

I turn to the Spirit, "Yubel, Zarc already made up his mind. We can't change that. I think having this duel.. 

It might show Yuya that he can move forward, just like I did when I broke free from the evil within the Supreme King." 

 Yubel sighs, "No matter what I try, I can't stop you. I hope you know what you are doing. "
