Nanginginig kong kinuha ang papel at ballpen. The intense air is still roaming around my room but I stayed brave. Kailangan kung I-decode ang message sa lalong madaling panahon. Schwi eerily whispered me FOREST. Anong kinalaman ng kagubatan sa pagkamatay ni Vi?

I stared at the paper intently. Until seconds passed I finally know what it means. Naalala kong nakatira nga pala sila Vi sa Narusawa, malapit sa Suicide Forest.

SUICIDE FOREST.

When I utter this word. Biglang lumakas ang hangin. Ibang-iba sa kanina na naramdaman ko. My feet and hands went cold. I suddenly shivered and fear started to envelop me.

I closed my eyes, nagbabakasakaling imahinasyon ko lang iyon. Then seconds later, it feels cold. I slowly open my eyes at nagulat ako sa aking nakita. I saw a tall and black man covered with blood. He was holding a rope which entangles his neck down to his abdomen. In his right hand was a sharp knife, fresh bloods are dripping.

But what scared me the most is his face. Swollen with lots of worms crawling from his eyes to his tongue. Wala siyang kaliwang mata. Walang buhok. Punong puno ng sugat, nababalot sa nana at ang kanyang utak ay nagkalat hanggang sa tenga niya.

I tried to scream but the scream was suppressed with some unseen force. Walang lumalabas miski tunog sa bibig ko. My whole body was paralayzed. I cannot move. I was just there, crying internally and scared, hindi ko alintanang umihi ako sa takot.

To my terror, the entity started to walk slowly towards me and give me a hideous smile. The rope around him started to crawl slowly to my bed.

I was in intense fear that I could not keep my conciousness at ease. Hanggang sa tuluyan na akong mawalan ng malay.

"Rein"

"REIN"

Nagising ako sa malakas na pagtawag sa akin ni Schwi. Nasaan ako? The whole place is filled with darkness. No light can be seen. Kinapa ko ang bulsa ko sakaling nadala ko ang cellphone ko pero wala. Instead isang lubid ang nahawakan ko.

"Follow the rope, Rein"

Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero sumunod ako sa boses kahit alam kung hindi kay Schwi 'yon. Wala akong ibang maisip sa mga sandaling iyon kundi ang makatakas sa lugar na walang liwanag. I badly hate darkness.

Hanggang sa may nakita akong konting liwanag na galing sa malayo. I sighed lightly. Nawala ng konti ang takot ko. Tumakbo ako habang hawak ang lubid na hindi ko alam kung saan nagmula.

Finally I can be free. I thought so.

"Rein? Pano ka napunta dito. Hindi ka pwede dito?" Schwi tearfully said.

"Anong pinagsasabi mo Vi, I came here to rescue you" rescue myself, sorry kung nagsinungaling ako.

"Hindi mo maiintindihan" she cried hardly.

"Ikaw ang hindi ko maintindihan. It's you who put me in this state" ang lahat ng takot ko ay napunta sa galit at hinagpis. To tell the truth, I was really scared that time when the man showed up. I suddenly become selfish.

"But you shouldn't be here or else..."

"or else ano..."

Yumuko si Vi dahilan para hindi ko makita ang reaksyon niya.

The light started to fade, everything around me changes. The surroundings suddenly become intense green. My eyes become blurry because of unstable distortion. I feel groggy at nawalan ako ng balanse.

Umupo ako sa kawalan, I am exhausted and drained. Nang medyo okay na ang naramdaman ko, I started to observed the whole place na sana hindi pala.

I saw Vi's body hanging in a grotesque tree. Full of cuts at dugong matagal ng natuyo. What really happened to you Vi? At paano ako napunta sa Suicide Forest?

I cried as I walked to her corpse. Paano tayo napunta sa sitwasyong ito Schwi? Kahit wala na akong lakas, pinilit kung kunin ang katawan niya para man lang mabigyan siya ng marangyang libing. But before I can untie the rope in her body, her hands move into my throat, strangling me to death.

"NAKALIMUTAN MO NA BA REIN NA IKAW ANG PUMATAY SA AKIN?"
