Chapter one: I'm your worst nightmare

I was standing in front of the mirror, looking at myself. My short brown hair fell on my shoulders it has dark red tips. I had a thicker end of my nose than the normal person and my eyes were just a normal shade of brown. All in one my body wasn't something that beautiful like Isabelle's. I was wearing black skinny jeans, a red top with a black leather jacket on top of it and I was wearing heels. But not those high ones of 11 inches just small ones because clumsy me falls of stairs on those high heels. I've tried one time and I will never do it again.

Isabelle came into my room and pushed me away from the big mirror. "Hey! I was busy." I tried to argue but it made no difference. "You look stunning already you don't need to look in the mirror for another 10 minutes to change your mind about your clothes because they're not stylish enough for a club. You did that already 3 times!"
She was wearing tight clothes, like really tight. I would be afraid to pick something of the ground because then everyone would see my butt. The colour of the clothes were white but more on the platinum side of the colour and she held a platinum blond wig in her hand. You are an idiot if you don't see it's blonde instead of white.

Then Alec called us. "Come on Izzy and Ana." We turned around and walked fast out of the room and towards him. If you don't know him he's a big asshole, I can tell you, but when you get to know him you see he's just a big huggable teddy bear. Not literally a teddy bear but you know he's such a sweet guy. "What's up big bro?" Izzy asked when be started walking with him to the centre of the institute. I the smallest of the group walked between them and let me tell you it's pretty annoying that everyone is taller than me. My neck hurts when I have to look at Alec for a long time because he's so much taller than me and Isabelle is just like her brother taller than me. You know that one little friend in a group of friends? Yeah well, that's me I'm also the sarcastic one.

The two of them were discussing - like always - why Izzy doesn't need to wear a wig because Alec ,the overprotective brother that he is, don't want her to flirt with men. I'm so sorry for you Alec but she's an attractive girl so the men stick close to her when they see her. Their whole discussion is ignored by me but then I see Jace and run as fast as I can to him. "Jace!" I jump on his back and he catches me. He's always been my best friend and I couldn't live without him. "Ana! How are you?" He asks as he put me down. "I'm getting better and for sure now because we have a mission. It's been a long time since we've been on a mission together." Let me explain you I was forbidden till 2 months ago to go on a mission because of what I did when I was younger. The last 2 months I've been on mission alone because they wanted to get rid of me when they had the chance but when they saw that my skills were just as good as Jace's they let me join them.

*Time skip*

We were following the shapeshifting demon. It thought he was to smart so he would lose us in the crowd but he didn't succeed. That's such a pity for him. Not really. Isabelle and Alec were hot on it's tail while Jace was a couple of meters closer to the demon than me because I was following him. He ran into a mundane and the red haired girl turned around. "Hey! Can you watch were you're going?!" I abruptly stopped and stared in shock at her just as Jace turned his face to hers. "Wait, you can see me?"
"Yeah, but you obviously didn't see me." She stated the obvious. I ran in their direction so I could step between them when it was needed. "You have the sight."
"The what?" I slapped my face mentally. How could he be so stupid?
"How can I not know who you are?" That's when I stepped in. "Seriously has that line ever worked for you?" She asked.
"Don't worry, he's not flirting with you if that's what you think." I stated bluntly and I swear I got a small slap on my arm from Jace for stepping in. "And who are you?" I took a step towards her and looked her almost dead in the eye. "Your worst nightmare." And that's when I turned around a ran away with Jace hot on my tail.

"Why did you say that?" His curiosity gets on my nerves sometimes. "Because you talked to much."
We ran into the club and when we got in we started looking for the others. The others had already started with the demons so we joined them. Izzy did her dance thing to distract all the men demons while Jace was getting answers from the female. When he didn't get any answers he took out his seraph blade but then something weird happened and none of us would ever thought of situation like this.

The redhead from a few minutes ago pushed the demon aside not knowing what was happening. Jace pushed her behind him and we all started fighting. A demon ran towards me on the right and I took out my throwing knives. I threw one right in the place were his heart was supposed to be and he vanished in thin air. I saw the brunette female struggling with all the demons and I took out some more knives. I threw 3 of them in a row all right in the 'heart' of the target or the demon. Instead of my throwing knives I took out my seraph blade and started killing the demons with my blade. 2 demons came at me at the same time.

I kicked the first one thenI spun around and cut the second demon in half. I ducked and the demon fell in front of my feet. I plunged the blade deep in his belly. And just like the others he vanished. When I looked up I saw Jace pushing a demon towards the seraph blade the ginger held. The moment the demon touched the blade he vanished and the girl started to freak out. But who wouldn't? Do you see people killing demons and the killed ones vanishing every day? No I don't think so but I do. We were ready to go but after some time Jace decided to follow the Unknown girl to god knows where. And the thought of him choosing her over us caused a pang in my heart.

So I finally got this first chapter ready and it costed some time but it's finally ready for all of you to read it. But I have a question: in which country do you live?
