They stayed like that for a while, not saying much of anything, just enjoying the feeling of being together. Mani eventually noticed that Parry's breathing had changed and evened out, if he listened closely he could hear an ever so slight snore. He smiled. I guess they're not worried about their nightmare anymore. He decided to move to lay them down. There was a big comfy chair in the corner of his room that he had fallen asleep in before while reading, he could sleep there and let them have the bed. As soon and he started to move away, Parry grabbed his arm, still mostly asleep. "Don't go" he hesitated "Stay with me". They sounded so sweet while half asleep, he didn't have the heart to refuse.

"I'm right here, just let me make you more comfortable. Ok?"

"M'kay" Mani removed the blazer from Parry's shoulders and placed it on the folding chair he had been sitting in previously. He then pulled up their feet and helped them into a laying down position. They immediately snuggled up to one of his pillows and fell back asleep. Mani smiled, he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on their cheek. "I'll be right back" he whispered to them. He only got a small moan of acknowledgement. Even such a small and innocent thing made his heart flutter a bit. He quickly went over to his closet, shut the door, tried to steady his heart and breathing, and then changed into his pajamas. He had been in his normal clothes the whole time, tie included, loosened almost completely but still on. Now he was just wearing some sweatpants, normally he slept without a shirt, but he didn't want to make Parry uncomfortable by being too underdressed. I guess I should be grateful that they were already in pajamas, that could have gotten awkward. Either they would have had to sleep in their clothes or I would have had to... he let the thought trail off without finishing it, but he could still feel quite a bit of a blush warming up his face. He found an old t-shirt in the back of his closet and put it on. He put his hand on the doorknob of his closet door and stopped. He had almost convinced himself that he had fallen asleep and this was all a dream, that once he opened the door, the only thing that he would see is an empty room. He took in a breath and opened the door, his heart definitely skipped a beat when he saw that his bed wasn't empty. He let out his breath in a contented sigh, he had almost forgotten he was holding it. He made his way over and gently got into bed, trying to be very careful to not wake the other occupant. Mani tried to face the other way to give Parry their space, but as soon as he settled in they rolled over and slid their arm around his waist and pulled them closer together. Whether they were conscious while doing this or not Mani couldn't tell, but he certainly didn't mind it. He snuggled in and fell asleep himself.
