They both kind of stared at each other for a time, not quite knowing what to do now. What do you do after something like that? Eventually Parry snickered, amused by the absurdity of it all, Mani quickly followed suit. They were both full out laughing before they eventually calmed down. "So" Mani finally said, rubbing the back of his neck. Still quite aware of where Parry's hands had been just moments ago. "What does this mean?"

"I don't know." Parry answered, still trying to make sense of it all. "What do you want it to mean?" They looked up, right into Mani's eyes, not realizing he had been looking at them.

"I would think by the fact that I kissed you first, you would be able to tell what I wanted." His face flushed and he broke eye contact.

"Maybe" Parry smirked "but you did pull away pretty fast. What? Were you afraid I was going to bite you or something?"

"No..." he hesitated. Parry looked at him, he seemed almost ashamed. "I just...I remembered that my abilities are triggered by touch and I didn't want..."

"You wanted to make sure it was my decision too." Perry finished his sentence. He nodded his head, still looking down in shame. Parry suddenly remembered that Mani had been very careful about keeping his hands off during the second kiss. But they thought he was just surprised. "Hey" they said, which made Mani look up. "If you had manipulated me, would I have kissed you back after you broke contact." Parry knew the answer, but they needed Mani to know it too.

"I don't know. I don't use my powers very often." He looked back down at his hands. "I don't know how long it lasts."

"Well, would it have worn off by now? It's been a while." Parry looked at a clock, it had been almost an hour since the first kiss. When they looked back at Mani, he was looking at the clock too.

"I think so, but like I said, I'm not exactly sur-" He was cut off by Parry's lips on his, it was a brief kiss, but enough to get the point across.

"Satisfied? I did this. No manipulation, just me."
