"Well" Parry couldn't help but flash a mischievous smile at Mani "I guess that depends".

"On?" The smile must have worked, because Mani looked concerned and tensed up a bit further.

"On how you feel about me doing this."

There was a slight bit of panic in Mani's eye as Parry stood up and came towards him. They leaned down over him a bit and he tried to lean back but was already against the back of his chair. His chair leaned back a little and started to lose his balance a bit. Parry reached back and grabbed the back of the chair to prevent him from falling, placing a hand on either side of him. This, unintentionally, brought them very close together. They were both breathing a little shaky, but whether it was from the near fall or the closeness was unclear. "So...um..was that all you were gonna do?" Mani was looking directly into Parry's eyes.

"Not exactly" Parry was very aware of how close they were in that moment. They hadn't yet removed they're hands from the back of his chair. "But I'm afraid that if I do what I was originally planning, in your current state, it just might give you a heart attack."

Mani, without thinking, reached up and put a hand on either side of Perry's face and pulled them into a quick kiss. He quickly pulled back, he was just as shocked by his actions as Parry was.

"I-I-I-I'm sorry, I don't know why I did tha-" He was interrupted by Parry leaning back into the kiss. Their hands went from the back of his chair to the back of his neck. From the intensity of the kiss, it seemed like they had both been thinking about it for a while. When they did eventually pull apart, they were both a bit breathless. Parry stood up all the way to avoid getting light-headed. Mani remained in his chair, a bit dumbfounded.

"Wha-What just happened?" Mani could hardly get the words out past his shaky breathing.

"I..don't even know." Parry placed a hand on their chest, their heart was pounding. They backed up until they ran into the bed, and sat back down.
