"OH! MY! GOD!" Both Mani and Parry's eye snapped open at the sudden loud sound of someone shouting. They were still in the same position they had fallen asleep in, Parry behind Mani with their arm wrapped around him. The only difference was, at some point in the night, their feet had entangled as well. They were both trying to detangle themselves with what little remained of their dignity. Mani ended up rolling onto the floor and hitting with a thud. As they gathered their wits enough to actually wake up, Paranoia turned to find the source of the sound. Ego was standing in Mani's doorway, one hand still on the handle, the other over their mouth. A huge grin out their face poking out from underneath. "I was coming to tell Mani that breakfast was ready" they snickered "but I guess he already had a late night snack."

"Get out!" Mani shouted as he threw something at Ego, but only hit the door. They were already ducking out, cackling at their own joke.

"Well, that's one way to get woken up." Parry said, to no one in particular. "Are you ok?"

Mani was kneeling on the side of the bed where he had fallen. He was rubbing his face, though whether from just waking up or embarrassment was anyone's guess. "I'm fine." He groaned as he hoisted himself back up onto the bed. "How are you?" He seemed as though he were searching for something on Paranoia's face.

"I'm fine" they said, a bit skeptically "I'm not the one that fell on the floor."

"It's just..." Mani looked down, apparently something on the bed suddenly became very interesting. "I keep waiting for this to be a dream."

Parry now understood the searching look, he was looking for regret or some sort of shame. "Hey" they tucked their finger under his chin and gently forced his head up, he didn't fight it. He was met with a soft and simple good-morning kiss. As the kiss ended, Parry put their forehead against Mani's. "This isn't a dream, I'm really here."

Mani went from a face of content to scrunching up his nose. "But now comes the part that I wish was a dream"

"Oh?" Parry was confused "And what is that?"

"Dealing with Ego after what just happened."
