Fia sighed as she walked down the streets of Vale with Cerise walking closely beside her. As they did Fia noticed something a little odd. A bunch of people seemed to be getting ready for something. "Is there some kind of event or something going on?" Fia asked as she looked at the female next to her. When she said this Cerise looked around a bit confused as to what she was talking about.

When she did she saw some people putting out flowers, decorating their buildings to look nice, and even selling most of their goods for a discounted price. Cerise thought it was normal until she remembered that Fia isn't from Vale. "Yeah, it's a festival of sorts. It's called the flower festival. It's like a couples thing that Vale does every year. Most of the students attend the dance at Beacon while the citizens have their own fun," Cerise explained as she looked at the female in front of her.

"I see, so it's basically a celebration for the people who aren't huntsmen in training," Fia asked as she looked at Cerise.

"Yeah more or less, but at least with this, you don't feel as bad without a date. Since if you go to the dance without one people might talk. At least like this, you don't have to worry what others will think," Cerise said as she looked at the female in front of her. Fia nodded hearing this and the two continued down the streets of Vale for a few minutes before Cerise looked at the female in front of her again.

"Hey Fia, why are we here again?" Cerise asked as she looked at the female in front of her.

"A new battle arena just opened up and I wanted to see what it was like . . . and maybe fight in a match," Fia said as she looked at the female next to her.

"Isn't that kind of cheating? Since you're a huntress and all?" Cerise asked as she looked at the female next to her.

"No, they just charge extra," Fia said with a smile. "Plus I'll probably get the chance to fight before some others since I can only imagine how many others are eager enough to try and fight a huntress. You know, to see how they stack up in comparison," Fia said as she looked at the female next to her.

"You sound like you've thought this out," Cerise said as she looked at Fia.

"Not really, it only took me five minutes to really decide," Fia said as she looked at the building in front of her. It seemed rather large, which was to be expected of an arena meant for fighting. When she walked in Fia saw two people in the arena fighting in a rather unusual and unorthodox way, which only excited her. Fia then walked over to the counter and paid her entry fee before walking over to a male beside the arena.

"I'd like to schedule a match," Fia said as she looked at the male in front of her.

"Sure thing sweetheart it's twenty-five lien a match," The male said much to Fia's irritation at his nickname for her.

"And how much for a huntress?" Fia said as she looked at the male forcing a smile as she did.

"Fifty lien," The male said with a smile as he held out his hand. Fia nodded and reached into her pocket pulling out the money causing him to smile.

"The rules are a standard submission or knock out. You can use whatever weapon you like as long as it's not lethal. However, since you're a huntress we have a special rule for you. So you'll probably have to wait longer until someone decides they want to test their luck against a huntress," The male said as he looked at the female in front of him. Fia nodded hearing this and began to walk over to the edge of the arena waiting her turn.

After several matches passed a figure approached her and whispered into her ear. "Your match is next, be ready," The male said as he looked at her Fia nodded hearing this and looked at the cage. Then once the current match ended she walked over to the cage and began to get ready. As she did she looked at her opponent and smiled slightly. He was a male a little older than her around the age of twenty with pure white hair that seemed to sparkle like snow when viewed from certain angles and bright vivid purple eyes.

He stood a little above her, had a fairly muscular frame, and while she'd never admit it out loud she did think that male was rather handsome. After the announcer finished announcing the match Fia smiled as she looked at the male in front of her, which she now knew was named King thanks to the announcer. "It's almost a shame to hit someone with such beautiful eyes," Fia said as she looked at the male in front of her.

"Trust me, I'll be fine sugar lips," King said with a confident smile as he looked at Fia.

"How about you do me a favor and take it easy on me?" Fia asked with a wink trying to use her feminine side to get her opponent to underestimate her.

"Sure thing angel face, we can have some fun, the night's still young after all. So let's go wild," King said as he looked at her. Fia was a bit caught off guard by this, he sounded even more seductive than most of the guys she had met before. Fia rushed forward hearing this hoping to catch him off guard. It worked to some extent as she readied her hand-cannon however, just before she fired at him King moved the shot up causing it to hit the ceiling.

As it did King jumped to the side putting some distance between them and caught one of the flowers that fell from the decorations. "I always did like spider lilies," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. "I must admit princess, you're a regular firecracker," King said as he looked at the female in front of him.

"I think you'll find I'm full of surprises," Fia said as she once again charged towards the male in front of her. As she did the male repeated her action and the two began to clash, Fia's staff hitting King's palm. Fia moved back seeing this and King moved forward attempting to kick her in the stomach only for Fia to stop the attack with her staff and push him away before sending a wave of fire at him with her staff.

The fire grazed him leaving some steam behind on his hand and he looked at her. Fia smirked seeing this and took a confident pose. "Hehe, what are you looking at?" Fia asked as she looked at the male only for King to smile and take a pose with the flower from before in his hand.

"Pardon me," King said as he looked at her in a slightly seductive manner. "It's just a little difficult to distinguish you from the flowers," King said causing Fia's face to heat up slightly. However, her blush quickly faded as she prepared to rush forward. However, she was caught off guard when King rushed forward instead of moving in front of her before she could move.

King was fast, and fought in a very unorthodox way, hitting Fia with the back of fist. However, he didn't let up and continued his assault on the female. First, by punching her in the stomach, and then blocking a punch that Fia sent towards him, King once again followed this up with an uppercut that sent Fia into the air and then he kicked her in the stomach sending her back. As she was King dashed forward and past the female before delivering a powerful punch to her back.

Fia then dashed forward and attempted to kick the male. As she did King went down and swept her feet out from under her. However instead of hitting the ground like she had been expecting she felt a gentle impact and when she looked up she saw that the male had caught her and was now carrying her bridal style. Fia's face heated up seeing this as she looked at the male that was holding her. "Looks like I swept you off your feet huh, Juliet," King said as he smiled at Fia.

When he said this Fia's blush immediately faded and she glared at the male. "In your dreams Romeo," Fia said as she turned and attempted to kick herself off the male's chest. When she landed she began to use her staff to send several fireballs towards him. As she did King jumped over them landing behind the female, when he did Fia turned and attempted to hit him in the head with her staff only for him to duck under the attack.

King then moved forward and hit her stomach sending her back tripping her in the process. As she fell she felt something on her back and then stopped falling and looked up to see that King had caught her once again forcing her face to turn red and her heart to start beating a little harder. "Got you," King said as he pulled her up and then turned her like they were dancing before he pushed her away leaving Fia in a rather flustered state as she looked at the male in front of her.

"You okay there beach body?" King asked mocking her slightly for her clearly embarrassed state. Fia dashed forward using her fire to try and claw at his stomach only for the male to lean back avoiding her attack. Fia was a bit surprised by this and went to claw his face once again using her flames only for King to lean back out of the way. Fia continued her assault not letting up first with an uppercut, then another punch, she even tried headbutting him at one point. However, it seemed like no matter how fast she was or how quick she was to strike King was always a little bit faster.

Her attacks always coming close but never connecting. As he avoided the attacks King then winked at her causing Fia's face to once again heat up. Fia's moved became a bit more flustered and straightforward after this convincing

Fia then jumped up and tried to kick him in the stomach. As she did King moved to the side and caught her leg before pulling it bringing her close. As he did Fia came crashing into his chest, as she did Fia's face once again turned a bright red as she realized the situation she was in. Seeing that she didn't immediately move away King smirked and looked at Fia. "Excuse me, you're leaning on my chest," King said causing Fia's flustered face to fade before she pushed him away.

As she did Fia turned and used her staff to send a massive wave of fire towards him the destroyed part of the ground and melted some of the metal bars. "That's . . . incredible," King said as he looked at the damage done by her semblance. Fia then rushed forward and attempted to hit King with her weapon only for King to dodge the attack and get close to her. "Sorry in advance," King said as he looked at her before he began his assault.

He hit Fia in the face three times with the back of his hand, and then punched her in the stomach sending her away but before she could get far he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back punching her in the stomach again and then uppercutting her sending Fia back. King then moved closer and jumped up kicking her in the face sending her back. As he did Fia fell onto her back her weapon sliding away as she did.

King then ran towards her before jumping up looking ready to attack. Fia closed her eyes and looked away awaiting the impact, but it never came. When she looked she saw King's hand and then he moved it away showing his other hand which was still holding the flower from before causing Fia's eyes to widen slightly and her face to become red. "This is for you, take it as an apology," King said as he looked at the female in front of her.

"Thank you?" Fia said a bit confused as she looked at the male in front of her. She then took the flower and stood up a moment later, and then punched King in the stomach catching him off guard and bringing him to his knees. The male held his gut feeling this and looked at Fia.

"I guess that means this is your win," King said as he slowly got up causing Fia to nod and the two began to slowly walk out of the arena. When they walked out Fia looked at Cerise and smiled.

"That was a lot more fun and challenging than I thought it would be. I might have to come here again when I'm bored," Fia said as she looked at the female in front of her.

"Yeah, that fight looked really fun, you were so cool even though you were on fire," Cerise said making mention of both her semblance and how she kept blushing around the male in front of her. Fia smiled brightly hearing this and scratched the back of her head a bit.

"Thanks, he was really strong," Fia said as she looked at the female next to her.

"Right," Cerise said as she looked at Fia. The two walked down the street and as they did Cerise eventually noticed that Fia was still holding the flower that King had given her. "Why do you still have that flower?" Cerise asked as she looked at Fia.

"I uh . . . j-just want to keep it, that's all. I haven't seen any other flowers like this since they started preparing the festival. So it kind of stand out a bit," Fia said as she looked at the female beside her, however, her slightly red face gave away her true intentions.

"Someone's got a cru~ush," Cerise chimed teasing Fia about the fact that she kept the flower.

"Oh please, he wishes he could be with someone as beautiful as me," Fia said as she looked at the female in front of her. Even though she was trying to act unfazed by the matter, the suggestion alone was enough to cause Fia's tail to start wagging. Which she had to reach behind her and grab to keep it from doing so. Once the two arrived at their dorm at Beacon the other three looked at them.

Before any of them could ask how their outing went Cerise continued her teasing. "Fia's got a boyfriend!" Cerise chanted as she walked into the room causing Fia to look at her, her face turning a bright red as it did.
