Monster

I like the monster
That swirled around me.
Flipping its dark wings
And sapping my soul.
Numbing my feelings
And draining my thoughts.

I like the angel
That dwelled around you.
Batting its wings
And healing my wounds.
Invading my senses
And accompanying my heart.
