I have always known
Your fire is capable of burning me.
With its slightest touch.
But there was a time
It ignited the flame
That was subsided within me.

It refreshed my heart
And quenched my thirst
To destroy and to end.
I was drawn to you,
Like a moth drawn towards the fire.

But you were mine and I'm yours
That was all that calmed
My burning desire.
