I got ready to go to Australia even when I didn't want to.

But just as Chhavi said I can't let my past stop me from moving forward.

I am a Native-Australian.

That's the place, my mom single-handedly brought me up before we moved into the USA.

And to say the least I don't have good memories of that part of my childhood.

The clink of Chhavi closing the main door brought me out of my thoughts.

The furious tapping of Chhavi's nails on her phone could tell me she was talking to Aahan.

Aahan Dixit, the guy she has been dating since last three years was supposed to come with his car to drop me to the Airport but he is still not here.

"Where the hell are you, Aahan?" She said frustrated looking up from her phone.

"Just in front of you" I said looking at the car driving in the passage.

"I am so sorry baby, this stupid tyre had to puncture at the end moment" he came and hugged her or should I say just picked her up in his arms.

"Could have texted me atleast" she said as he put her down.

"My phone went dead as well" he replied trying to get the pout out of her face.

Aww, they are soooo cuteee 🥺🥺🥺.

Whenever I am with them, I feel I am third wheeling them.

"God, what a stupid day it is" Chhavi let's out a frustrated sigh.

"Come on we are already late, let's get going" Advik said picking up my bags.

Such a gentleman he is.

I wish I had someone as him in my life as well, but I am happy for Chhavi, she has the guy she deserves.

We were at the Airport checking in to go to Australia.

As I was boarding in Chhavi says,

"Call me if anything happens, I will take the earliest flight and fly to you and call me when you land and call aunty daily or she will call me to ask about you" she said and hugged me.

"And take it as a vacation to enjoy and make new memories"

I hugged her back and kissed her cheek.

"I will miss you" she said as I pulled out of the hug and went to board.

"I will miss you more" I shouted back to her.

It takes around 18-20 hrs to go to Australia from the US and it was gonna be a long flight I knew but,
