ever since i saw y/n at the support course, ive been seeing her around a lot more often. around my friends, too. still, i only admire her from afar. she smiles at me sometimes, which is nice. i smile back and it's both the least and most i can do whenever im around her.

it's interesting when you think about how little meets the eye. when i smile at her, she sees my smile. and that's it. but there are hundreds and hundreds of thoughts going into that smile to make sure her impression of me is good. but all she sees is a smile.

she doesn't know that im thinking of her more than what seems normal. she doesn't know...

"HEY todoroki, what do you think about inviting y/n to sit with us today?" uraraka smiled as her and midoriya walked on either sides of him, tsu behind and iida infront, leading the group. "for lunch, of course. you could talk to her then!"

"are you guys that friendly with her?"

midoriya raised one of his eyebrows with an out-of-character grin on his face, "honestly? no," he laughed lightly. "but it would be nice if you talked to her at least once,"

todoroki pulled his eyebrows together. that would be bad. his crush on the girl would get worse. he didn't mention this, however, as he turned to his freckle-faced friend, "you're being weird today," he commented, jokingly. "could you talk to your crush?"

midoriya placed his hands on his hips as he walked, and his cheeks flushed just a little and he bumped shoulders with todoroki in a tease, "i'm dating my crush already because i talked to her, so..."

"if midoriya can do it, so can you!" iida said from in front of them. "we'll support you!"

"that's only because softie's approachable,"

uraraka smiled, "y/n is fine, todoroki. she looks friendlier, even!"

"hmph," todoroki swung his head the other way. "don't invite her. she has her own friends, and it would be weird since we haven't even spoken to her much."

"you haven't at all," tsu snickered from behind, making todoroki frown.

he would soon. he was just preparing himself. soon.
