── entry three.

i haven't said a word, but midoriya tells me i should. today he caught me staring at her in the lunch room. he was able to tell me she's in the support course and she's helped with some of midoriya's equipment. i planned on asking her to help me with my costume but something felt weird in my chest and i couldn't do it. i kind of felt hot but i didn't activate my quirk. maybe i was nervous. i don't know. it was a nice feeling but i hated it at the same time. i want to be her friend, but that isn't possible if i haven't said a word.

"YOU should go up to her todoroki, say something!" uraraka ushered the stoic boy as he ate his soba during lunch. the book with his pages of writing placed under his tray. "you never know when something will take away the opportunity for you to confess your feelings!"

"you definitely should," midoriya smiled gently, his eyes kind when they met todoroki's. "only when you're ready, of course! but, like i said, she's extremely nice. you can try being friends with her first,"

todoroki hummed thoughtfully as he stared into his bowl of soba, brows drawing together in a gentle frown, "i've tried," he told them. "but i couldn't say word."
