Oh Levi!

Thank you so much! You've finally noticed me, I'm so happy! I'm honoured to join the Special Operations squad, it has been my long time goal. Now I can see you almost everyday. I can take care of you now, I hope you don't mind. I'm trying my best to repay you for giving me a chance to continue on living. I wouldn't have lived these extra years and met new friends if it wasn't for you. And thank you, for giving me a chance to admire you, love you. I'm truly content by just doing so.

Levi, I know Mikasa hates you for treating Eren that way. As much as I would like to defend Eren, I know you have reasons for doing so. I believe you, Levi. I know there are reasons behind those actions and I respect your decision. Even when the world judges you as a cold hearted, arrogant man, I'll always believe that you're kind hearted and just protective of everybody's well being..

"Rie!"

She turned behind and saw Mikasa on the doorstep with her uniform on.

"C'mon, it's time for the briefing of our first expedition." She uttered stoically.

"Ah, sure!" She replied and quickly got up from her seat to dash out after grabbing her cape with the wings of liberty showing proudly on the green fabric.

He patrolled around the area to ensure nobody skipped the briefing. Dull footsteps of the short man resonated throughout the hallway, a large shadow loomed over the owner as he pace along. A pair of brown doors were open wide and he immediately went to the door, and looked inside. He examined the area and caught nobody inside; then, he saw a piece of paper on the table. Out of curiosity, he picked it up and began reading.

After placing the paper back down to its original place, he left the dorm but not without closing the doors closed. A trace of a ghost smile grazed his thin lips as he headed to his office.

She came back from the briefing with her group of friends and quickly grabbed the piece of paper in hopes of not being seen by anybody. She folded it neatly and inserted it into her pocket, silently telling herself that she will continue writing the letter at night like she always do.

Ah, I came back from the briefing of our first exposition together not long ago. I've never been outside the walls before. I wonder how does it look like out there. How wide can the field stretch out there? Is it endless? Have you seen the oceans during any one of your expositions? Do they exist? I heard from Eren that the ocean is the colour of my hair and that it is an endless source of salt water. Is that true? I also heard from him that there are different seasons such as summer, spring, autumn and winter. How do they look like and how does it feel? They sound like fantasies to me, but I'll never know if I never leave these walls, huh?

I'm really excited to see the outside world with my own emerald eyes. And I'm glad.. I'm glad that my first time will be with you. I may not see you again, and I may have my last breath outside, tomorrow. But I'm content because I know you'll be there and I've achieved what I wanted. To be in the Special Operstions with you.
