GRACE's P.O.V.

We were walking to the cafeteria to get lunch before it was too late. When I say we I mean I was walking with Teito and Mikage. it was surprisingly quiet. Which isn't a good sign cause that means something's gonna happen.

I looked to my right and had to look up to see Mikage's face. He saw I was looking at him and looked down and smiled at me. I grinned.

I looked to my left to find Teito in deep thought. He looked kind of sad, and that kinda made me uncomfortable. So I did what any normal person would. I poked him in the cheek.

He looked startled for a seconded and then mad. He looked at me like I did something wrong. His eyes looked clouded from his previous thoughts so I waited for him to come back down to earth. Not that I had to wait too long. Not even a second later his eyes cleared and realized he was looking at me. His glare slightly softened. I smiled and began walking faster to the cafeteria.

I rounded a corner only to stop in my tracks. It was almost as if I had run into a wall, an invisible wall. The boys had run into my back due to my abrupt halt.

It had seemed we had ran in to a little problem.

We hear an obnoxious laugh come from down the hall. I then see a blond head to match the laugh.

You see on the outside I seemed perfectly calm, but on The inside I was flipping out.

Coming down the hall... was Shuri Oak.

Alright that's it yall! c yah!

(A/N Still graces POV.)

He was walking towards us with his gang of nitwits behind him. He spotted us and advanced towards us faster.

"Hmmm? Mikage? What are you doing with these two?" He said in the most obnoxious voice I have ever heard.

"They're my friends. What's it to you Shuri?" Mikage asked.

"Oh I was just wondering what you were doing with a sklave?" Shuri asked.

I stiffened and saw Teito stiffen also. I woundered why?

TEITO's P.O.V.

This guy! Geez he's annoying.

"Oh I was just wondering what you were doing with a sklave?" Shuri asked.

I stiffened and saw that Grace did so too. Why is she stiffening? Unless...

"I mean come on! A sklave," he pointed at me," and an ex sklave now newly recruited help!" He then pointed to Grace. Her eyes widened and glanced at me with eyes filled with worry and an emotion I didn't think I would see from her... fear.

"Come on Mikage! Who would befriend these two? Especially her! I mean she lost everything to the war! She's broken. Any one affiliated with the Oak family is to not be acquainted to broken people, especially women. They can't be fixed." He finished. I fully looked at Grace and so did Mikage.

She looked down, her bangs covering her eyes. Next thing I knew she was running down the hall to who knows where.

Once she was out of sight I hear a laugh from in front of us.

"See what I mean? She ran off crying just from bringing up the past! Broken!" He laughed histerically.

I welled up with emense anger. Next thing I know is I'm punching Shuri in the face.

He falls to the ground with a horror stricken face. I sit on him and am about to punch him again when I feel arms grab me and pull me away.

I look up, completely furious at the person not letting me punch Shuri, to find it was Mikage. He looked incredibly angry, he had a deadly aura.

"Run." Mikage said,"If I find out you hurt Grace in any way possible, I won't hesitate to help Teito punish you." He said.

He didn't even sound like Mikage. He sounded different, he sounded murderous. This was a side of Mikage I had never seen before.

They all screamed like little girls and ran away. I tried to break out of Mikage's grip to go after them, but he held on strongly.

"Come on," he said, "let's go find Grace." I stopped struggling, after a minute I finally nodded.

"Where do you think she would be?" I asked slowly calming down.

"Library, only problem is where in the library?" He responded.

We both walked to the library to find the door cracked open. I nod to Mikage and say, "Let's split up. It will be easier to find her."

He nodded and whispered something to me before he went of on his own, and it made me slightly more aware of my situation. "Be gentle when you find her." He said and walked off.

I sighed and began walking around. I looked in between every bookshelf to see if she's hiding there, but came up with nothing, that is until I heard sniffling.

GRACE's P.O.V.

I had ran into the library after that horrible meeting. I couldn't handle the emotions coursing through me. I had completely broken down. For once the pain was too much, I let the tears fall. What was worse was that it was silent. Silence isn't good. When there's silence there's space and time to think, and when I think, I think of them, my family. I think of how I lost them, all because I hesitated.

I was sniffling when I heard footsteps coming closer. I immediately went silent. The foot steps got closer and closer. I saw a shadow coming around the corner. I got worried that it was Shuri or one of his followers looking for me to see if I actually broke.

I was slightly relieved to see it was only Teito, but I didn't want him to see me like this, only Mikage has seen me like this.

I looked up in to his eyes and he immediately got angry. I was slightly frightened so I pulled my knees up to my chest and put my head in them. I heard a sigh and footsteps come closer until they stopped right next to me.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up to find Teito sitting next to me.

"I sorry." I "said".

"Why are you sorry? You didn't do anything." He stated.

I sighed (A/N lots of sighing going on!) "I'm a burden aren't I?" I asked.

A flash of confusion came across his face, then anger. "Why would you think that?" He demanded.

"Because I over reacted and got emotional, then ran off, making you and Mikage have to come and look for me." I said looking down.

I felt a pair of hands take my shoulders and roughly turn me towards their owner. I looked up into Teito's eyes. I saw remorse and a tad bit of anger.

"You are not a burden,do you understand?" He asked. I nodded and began to tear up again. His eyes widened.

Tears began to fall and I couldn't take the pain any more. I went forward and hugged Teito tightly and bawled into his shoulder. And this time I actually cried, as in actually making a noise when I cry. I don't usually do that. I don't know why, I just feel so safe with Teito, like I could trust him. Even with my life if I had to.

He stiffened, but the relaxed slightly and hugged me back.

"It's alright," he said, "you're fine."

I cried even more and moved my face from his shoulder to his neck and continued to cry. He just hugged me tighter.

"Thank you Teito." I thought to my self. "I truly thank you."
