Tick - tock

Tick-tock
He was around 6
When the colours
were fading
And the clocks
started ticking
When people didn't ask
for
His name anymore
But only for
His grades
When life started to get
Serious, as they all said

And the clocks tick
Rush, time is running quick
Hurry and keep in mind
Whoever stop's gets left behind

Tick- tock
He was around 16
When the feelings
were fading
And the people
started lying
As they didn't ask
for
His rights anymore
But only for
His duties
When it was time for him to get
Mature , as they all said

And the clocks tick
Rush, time is running, quick
All those seconds float away
None of them are meant to stay

Tick- tock
Here was around 26
When the dreams
were fading
And only success
started counting
As they didn't ask
for
His opinion anymore
But only for
His titles
When his career would get
On track, as they all said.

And the clocks tick
Rush, time is running, quick,
Still so far till the finish line
Hurry, must get there before dyin'

Tick- tock
Now he is around 36
And
himself fading
Because all those people
are destroying him
Because
his grades, duties and titles were
all they'd ever
Care about
Because fitting in
Is everything
Like they say without
A doubt
Because
His name, his rights and his opinion
Are something he
Has already forgotten about
Because he is one of many
Inside this crowd
And so he is climbing up
The latter of career,
Closer and closer to the top
But still in the middle of living
His life does stop.

And the clocks tick,
Rush,time is running, quick
From the childhood to the grave
You will stay the pressures slave.

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick- tock
the clock still ticks and ticks.
Like it did when he was six.

-A/N I originally wrote this in an other language, hope you still like it.
Stay human and destroy the clocks,
