So if it's a battle, bring your best,
Come on, stab me in the chest
Can't destroy this human mess,
It would be  hurting only less
Then my own feelings do
You can't threaten me with death
Used to wrestling my demons so who
Should scare me with a gun
Bullets and swords
Won't make me run
Fighting with words
Has made me strong
I know what hurts
For way too long
But never gave up
Kept holding on
Can't make me stop
My fear is gone
It's time for the bomb to drop
I bring my army in
I attack with my weapon
My pen
The words are my soldiers then,
Marching in a verse as I command,
The letters are ammunition, flowing out my hand,
Ink spilled like blood on
the battlefield, once a paper white,
And all your defence is gone,
Every rhyme a bite,
As I am laughing at you and your gun,
Turning this uneven fight,
In this battle, I have won.

~A/N I am basically trying to write myself to sleep currently....I wouldn't know what to do without poetry (Even though this one kind of sucks). And of course, I wouldn't know what to do with out you all amazing humans. Over 300 votes 💙...
