One half doesn't have bread,
The other is choking on cake,
One starving out of need
As in a desert grows no weed
Empty stomachs, hungry eyes,
Lying awake, the baby cries,
Waking up with a bitter taste,
That cannot ever be erased
The other starving for a 'beauty'
Which is sold by the industry
Empty stomachs, hungry eyes,
Throwing up, telling lies,
Swallowing cake with a diet pill,
Sweet poison kills like bitter will

It's a messed place,
Our brave new world,
Twisted and torn,
Fate settled and determined,
By where one is born,
The wheel  of misfortune
Goes round and round,
And to it we are forever bound

Oh, brave new world!
One half doesn't have water,
The other is spilling wine,
One has to pray for rain,
Or the heat will make them insane,
Dry throat, leather skin,
Yet not break, still working,
For a multinational company
That sells water, ironically
The other buys ,yet not only water,
But rather a different liquor,
Champagne, Whiskey to forget,
Wodka, Whine leave no one sad,
'Till tommorow the alarm will strike
Is this what happiness looks like?

It's a messed up place,
Our brave new world
Torn and dangerous
A human life doesn't matter
Just it's utility does,
The game of life
Goes on and on
And we all play along

One half is amusing itself to death,
The other is dying for serious,
One is unable to stop,
Higher and higher till they drop,
Risky deals, huge parties,
Danger zones, greed disease,
They know no limit, touching the sky,
Forget that even they will one day die,
The other is struggling to move on,
Another week, another day gone,
With unpaid bills, broken dreams,
Taken hits, silent screams,
Donw in the dirt, and when the head they raise,
A  heavy boot stamps on their face

It's a messed up place
Our brave new world
Dangerous and cruel
It sets the cards
And we all are the fool
The scores they rise
Up and up
As we don't know how to stop

Oh, brave new world!
One half is building bombs,
The other gets hit by them,
One makes money from war,
As those are harmless from afar,
Million Dollars, Euros, Pounds,
Higher production, laughter sounds,
They sure can tell you the price
Of a human life, if you ask nice
The other dies in the war,
Not even still knowing what for,
Houses burn, humans die,
Streets explode, humans cry,
A hell of fire, smoke and ashes,
Through which bullets fly like flashes

It's a messed up place
Our brave new world
Cruel and unfair
A game of chess
That lasts  forever
Sacrifices for nothing
Lose and win, win and lose,
King or peasant, you can't chose

But
One half has the love of power,
The other the power of love,
We all decide which we stand on,
No matter where we are from,
It's a choice we all have to make,
And consequences we have to take,
I just wish we would all chose love
And proudly turn the cards to show it off

It's our place,
Another brave new world
Yours and mine
If only we take it
And it's time
To stop the wheel of misfortune
All it takes is to decide
That our lives are worth the fight
