I just watched the news the other day
And there was a lot I at first didn't understand
People hurting each other in every way
And no one taking a stand
For justice, humanity against so many crimes nobody tries to prevent
"It was uninventable" newspeaker did say
In front of ruins in which humans cry
Who to help no one did even try-
All this I watched, asking myself why?

Why does not one ever does act selfless ?
Why don't we see how our world became a mad mess?

Why does a kid get shot by the police simply
for crossing the street and being
Black?
Why do we never care for the poor, as long as we 'get our money back?'
Why do we declare everyone who is slightly diffrent a threat, who'd destroy our culture and country?
Why is it always the suffering of others that we pretend not to see?

Now, being in this world long enough, it's all clear to me
The answer quite simple, actually

Because this world destroys those who act selfless
Because we all got enough handling our own stress

Because it is easier to say "all lives matter"
Instead of admiting you own
privilege
Because how the poor feel doesn't matter as long as we are rich
Because it is easier to blame other others
Instead of admiting we created tell problems ourselves
Because a human being is not as important as our personal wealth

Because it is so much easier to stay neutral
In a situation of injustice than taking a stand
This world became what it is after all
A graveyard of the innocent
An everlasting funeral
That we all could prevent
If we wouldn't be so afraid to fall
In the graves
ourselves
And if a few wouldn't earn
So much from building
The coffin
We all end up lying in.
