Kim Tae-Hee

Today I have to go to the party with this cast. Finally, the exams were over. The results were out. I passed by flying colors. I got the third position in my class and that my geeky best friend was first. I didn't know how he could study so much. I don't even believe how I got the third position. It's somewhere unbelievable.

We all have together organized a party. I have to get ready for it. I brought a light pink colored frock, crème colored pencil heels, and a golden crème clutch. I am excited about it.

Ji-Hu will come after one hour to pick me. I was planning to go with my driver but he said he wants to go with me. He and Lee Si-Young had a fight because of me. Ji-Hu was spending more time with me. So his girlfriend got jealous and fought with him. Ji-Hu told me that he was spending more time with her than me. He got angry at her when she was ill speaking about me. I don't know what got into her. She knows about everything still she behaved like this. I think something is missing in all this.

My relation with Kim Tan has improved a lot. We both spend lots of time together. He asks me every day whether I am eating food or not, whether I am taking medicine or not. His every action shows how much he cares for me. We both never mentioned our past. We both are helping one another in moving on. The uncanny feeling between us was disappearing every day.

Kim Won-Jun is the same. He thinks so high about himself. He never leaves a single opportunity to flirt with me. I always ignore him. His flirting these days are a little less. May be his love was just a mere crush. But whenever our eyes meet, I feel a strange feeling. I feel butterflies in my stomach. I feel the heat all over my body. It so peculiar.

I have to take a shower. After the shower, I change into my pretty dress with so much difficulty. It's so hard to wear without feeling the wave of pain in my left hand. I lurk the pain behind the smile. I did little makeup. I apply a nude lipstick. I look at myself in the mirror. I am looking beautiful. But this cast... I wish I could remove it.

I pick up my phone from the table. A message from Ji-Hu popped on the screen. I opened it. He has come down to pick me up. I heard a knocking sound.

I know who would be behind it.

I opened the door. I was flabbergasted to see the person standing.

"Ready to go to the party?"

"Yeah... Yeah... are you gonna drop me?"

"Yes. Is there any problem with it?"

Before I could reply my phone starts ringing. It's Ji-Hu.

"I am sorry. But I need to take this call."

I walk a little bit away from the door and pick the call. "I am sorry Kim Tae-Hee. Can you go with your driver? I have to pick Lee Si-Young."

"Yeah sure. Don't say sorry. Go and shower your love to your girlfriend," I teased him before brushing away the single tear slide down my eyes.

I just feel a little sad. I need to understand my friend's point of view. I need to... I need to...

I turn to face my brother. "What happened?"

"Nothing. Is the offer still stand?" I asked with a broken smile.

"Yes. The offer is for life."

I lock my arm with him and we descended down. He was wearing a black tuxedo. His hair professionally gelled and set. He was looking like a perfect gentleman.

"Should I came to pick you up?"

I just nod. Not every time I got an offer like these from my brother. A smile was playing on his lips. We both get in his car. He drove me to the club.

We have rented the whole club for today. All my classmates would be present there. He stopped the car in front of it. A few girls and boys were standing outside it. May be waiting for their friends.

I get out of it and thanked my brother. Some hug me from the back. The perfume tells who it is.

"My friend is gonna make someone whipped today."

"Same goes to you." My eyes land on one figure standing with Kim So-Eun. She was fuming in anger. My lips curled in a smirk.

"Are you planning to make someone fall in love with you more?" I questioned him. "You are looking damn hot. Be careful," I whispered in his ear before going inside with him.

We both sit on the couch just beside the dancing floor. Slow music was being played in the background. Students were coming in and going out. My eyes land on someone standing near the bar. No alcoholic drinks were allowed today. He was staring at me. His was hands were shoved in his pants pockets. The black tuxedo was suiting him well more than well. I feel like the warms spreading all over my body. I suddenly start feeling a little hot. His lips curl into a smirk. "Didn't I told you someone would be...?"

I cut him in between. "Shut up."

Then finally the party started after sometimes. All were there. Students were trying to get on the dance floor with their crushes. Ji-Hu just passed a smile from far. I smiled back. I can understand my friend's condition. Kim Won-Jun's eyes were glued me mostly whenever I looked at his direction.

Rachel Yoo asked Kim Tan for a dance. They were on the dance floor dancing. They both looked good together. I winked at Kim Tan. He smiled.

I feel a presence beside me. The strong perfume and alcohol smell hit my nostrils. Kim Won-Jun...

"Will you dance with me?"

He holds my hand like I will break if he applied any pressure. Just in a few seconds, we both were standing on the dance floor, surrounded by teenagers dancing with their partner. We both got lost in each other's eyes before he confessed his feelings to me.

I opened my opened. So many miscall from Kim Woo-Bin. I looked at the time at 2 a.m. I am a little drunk. The boys tricked us.

There are so many miscalls from Kim Woo-Bin. All students were going but I don't have any convenience to go. Ji-Hu ditched me today. I am mad at him. I am not gonna talk to him again.

With whom I should go?

A car stopped in front of me. "Get inside the car," Kim Tan said.

"Thank you. Thank you. Ji-Hu ditched me. He is so bad friend." I get inside the car.

I keep on speaking nonsense about Ji-Hu, Kim Woo-Bin, and Kim Won-Jun.

"He confessed his feelings. Can you believe that Kim Won-Jun loves me? I am baffled. How can he love a girl like me? And when he started loving me?" Kim Tan chuckled at my nonsense talks.

"Have you ever drink before?"

"Yes. Maybe I did. I don't remember. My head hurts."

I don't know when we reached my house. I don't how he came to know where my house. I never told him my address. Half of the things right now didn't make sense to me.

"Kim Tae-Hee, we reached your house."

"Hmm...?"

I looked at the black gates. "Oh! Thank you."

I got out of the car. The gate opened for me. I walk inside the mansion. There was a pin drop silence. My heels were breaking it as I take steps towards the main door.

I opened the door. I walk inside it. Dad was sitting on the couch with Kim So-Hyun. "Have you seen the time?" my eyes go to the big clock hanging on the wall showing 3 a.m. I have to bear the lecture for coming late.

"Yeah 3 a.m."

"From where you are coming so late?" he yelled.

"From the party. Yeah from the party."

"Are you drunk?" Kim So-Hyun said before coming close to me.

"No. I mean yes. I don't know how I got drunk. Someone... nothing I am tired very tired. My head is hurting. I am sorry this will not happen again. I need to rest," I said and climbed the stairs. They both didn't stop me from going upstairs.

Kim Woo-Bin was standing in front of his room. He examined me. "I called you many times. I was so damn worried about you. Why you didn't pick my calls?"

"I was shocked, very shocked. I didn't hear the phone call. The music was very loud. Then I got late because I was shocked..." I opened my room's door.

"Why you were shocked?" he said from behind.

"Someone confessed his feeling to me," I said before coming inside my room and locking the door. I change into my nightwear and land on the bed to sleep.

It was a really shocking day.

He leans forwards. I could feel his breath on my neck. The hairs behind my neck raise. The body gets warmer. The dim lights and the partial darkness helping me in hiding my red cheeks.

"I love you so much." I could feel his lips on mine.

I love you too so much...

The sleep engulfed me in a hug.
