Kim Tae-Hee

I was standing in front of the almirah and thinking about what should I wear. I have to go out with Kim Tan. His words came in my mind.

The person for whom you are having newfound feelings will not leave you ever in his life. I have seen the love for you in his eyes. Don't do the same mistake I did by leaving him.

Why did he say that he loves me?

How can someone like a person who is broken? Whose past had destroyed her and still destroying?

A bitter truth, he didn't know a single thing about her. I don't have the answer to these questions. I don't want to know also because the answers will only hurt me. I know once he knows about my past he will leave and blame me for the death of my mother just like my brother. I locked these thoughts away as I have to get ready in one hour because I will meet Kim Tan in the mall. I am so confused right now. I don't know what I should wear. I want to fear a simple dress. There are so many clothes but I couldn't find a perfect one.

My eyes land on a blue denim frock. It reaches my knee. I take out that dress and go to change it.

After changing I did a light makeup and left my hair open. I wear white shoes. My hand still had cast on it and still, it hurt. But today I will enjoy a lot with Kim Tan and will ask him about his and Kim Won-jun relationship if we become a good friend in a small span of time.

I took a white side bag from my bed. I put my phone and cards in it. I closed the lights of the room and lock the door of it by the key because I don't want anyone to come into my room.

I went out of the mansion. The person was leaning against the car. He passes a genuine smile. He was about to open the door but I told him not to do it. I get inside the car. He drives me to my destination, 'Mall'. I didn't know why Kim Tan had chosen the mall as a destination to meet. He could have chosen a restaurant, café, or a movie hall for a meeting.

Today, was a pleasant day. I hope it didn't get ruin. I hope Kim Tan and I become good friends. He messaged me to know where I am. I messaged him that I am on the way, I will just reach in a few minutes there.

I closed my eyes and relax. I don't want any negative to come to my mind and make my day bad. The car stopped in front of the mall. He opened the car door for me. I thank him. I found Kim Tan standing at the entrance and looking on his phone. He was wearing a light blue color denim shirt and white jeans. His dark brown orbs were hidden behind his sunglasses.

I went towards him and tap on his shoulder. His gaze goes up from his phone. He gives me one of his breathtaking smile.

He looked in his watch and then looks at me with a smile on his face.

"You came on time. Not bad Tae-Hee," he said.

"I hate being late and I love those who are on time."

"Oh! Punctual girl and don't relate to the person."

To the person. I know what he is trying to say. I curse under my breath. I give him a questioning look. Instead of answering me, he extends his hand forward for me. I give him my hand. His warm fingers wraps around my less warm hand.

We went inside the mall. He first takes me the men's clothes sides. There he searches for his dresses. He shows me shirts and asks my suggestions on each shirt. I wanted Kim Woo-Bin to be here in the place of Kim Tan. I wanted to go shopping with him. But right now I should enjoy my present and don't ruin by imagining the things which are hard to turn into reality. He takes three shirts. One is of white color and it is plain, the second one has a check design on it of dark blue, white, and black color and the third is of light grey color and it also plain but with a self-design on it.

Then he took me to the shoe section. There we both brought the same sports shoes which means our shoes have the same color, design, and patterns on them. They were of dark blue color and white and on them, COOL is written with white. Geometrical patterns were on them with black, light blue, and white. We both had decided that we will wear these shoes tomorrow at school.

As we came out of the shoe corner, Kim Tan saw something and drag me with him to the place. He took me a bag shop because there he had seen two bags of the same color just like our shoes. So, he decided to buy those also. But this time I fight with him to pay for these for which he agreed after arguing a lot and wasting time. That was a very cute fight. I handed him the bags and pay for those bags. Bags are of simple plain black color, just friends are written on it with white in calligraphy. I liked it. It was very simple.

After paying I took my things from his hands. He dragged me to different shops and came out without buying because he didn't like anything in them. I go to a girl's dresses corner and start looking for a dress. But I was confused to select one dress. Kim Tan was ready to help me but me quite the idea of buying anything because right now I can't find a good dress and I don't want to waste money by buying a dress which I will not like after going back to home.

We had wasted a lot of time in shopping and fighting like kids over selecting because what he likes, I don't like and what I like, he doesn't like. So if our choice is not matching, we are not buying that thing.

Now, we both are tired, hungry, and want a peaceful place. We put our shopping bags in Kim Tan car and we both go to my favorite restaurant to eat something otherwise without eating I will be dead.

We both sat in the corner, mine and Ji-Hu's favorite place. We order our food. He was observing the restaurant. It's a small place and not big but the food in this place is amazing, I always say this whenever I visit this place.

"Kim Tae-Hee, you told me this is yours and Ji-Hu's favorite place. But you haven't told me the story behind it," he said while looking outside the window.

"Ji-Hu and I visit this place with our moms and this place is owned by my mother's friend. We had a lot of fun here. My mom loves this place because there are some peace and nice atmosphere, I think so but I didn't know the exact reason behind my mom liking it. I know that she liked to spent time with her friends here and now I like it too," I said and those memories replay in mind.

His response was just, ′ oh!'

"After this, I will take you to my favorite place. You will love that place. There was some unique peace and silence. I and Kim Won had a lot of memories there," he said while closing his eyes and I feel like he is also feeling to back in past and live those days again.

"So, why yours and Won friendship broke?" I blurted out my question which was playing in my mind as he said Kim Won's name. He looks at me and his face turns pale.

Very good Tae-Hee, you ruin his mood.

"I will tell you when we will go to that place," he said while picking up the glass of water and gulping it down in one go.

"Okay," I said and an unknown silence surrounds us. We both are lost in our own world which has no limit. We both were somewhere lost in our past. We both are fighting are own battle and trying to not to lose it.

The glass of silence is broken by the waiter who brought food for us. But it again joins and surrounds us. We both eat our own food and again let ourselves be busy in our own world.

We finished our food, Kim Tan pays the bill. Then he drives to take me to his favorite place and I am excited to see it.

"So, Kim Tan what you want to become in the future?" I questioned by breaking the awkward silence between us. He was focused on driving.

"I want to become a good person," he said and his eyes were just on road.

"Idiot, what you to become?" I said.

"I will handle my dad's business."

"Oh! So what's your dad's business?"

"He owned a company that makes cosmetic products. They make cosmetics for women and men. It's very famous in South Korea and in many other countries."

"Good."

He didn't talk about his mom until now. I think so he might not be much found of his mother or the might be other reasons.

"What you want to become Kim Tae-Hee?" he questioned.

"I want to become an architect and work with my-" I stop in mid because if I complete it, he will ask about my dad and I don't want to lie to him. Somewhere I don't want to spoil my mood by mentioning my dad.

"It's good. So, there are chances of you working with your future boyfriend."

I understand what he wants to say. Kim Won will not propose and I don't feel anything towards him. I don't why he thinks he has some feelings for me? He is wrong about this all, I think so.

"I don't have any boyfriend."

"Yeah. You don't. I am sure you will meet one in the future, soon."

He stops the car in front of a park. He didn't ask any more questions and get out of the car and open the door for me. I came out of it. He was smiling. There was no big building, no traffic, and not many people around. The wind was blowing and my hairs were dancing. He walks inside the park and I follow him. He looks very happy. There was all the greenery around us. A fragrance of flowers hit my nostrils and I stand still at my place and inhale it. Really, here is some unique beauty. Here some peculiar peace and silence. Kim Tan hold my hand and take me near the pond.

In the way, I saw that children were playing. People were walking. Women were sitting on a bench and gossiping. Men were doing exercises. There is a different atmosphere here.

The sun was setting and the sky was turned into an orange color. It looks like someone had poured an orange color on it. We both sit on a bench near the pond. There were not many people here.

"So Tae-Hee you want to know about me, I will tell but you will also tell me about yourself?" he said while forwarding his right hand.

"I will tell you, "I said while sealing the promise or a deal by shaking hands.

I just can't tell him about my stepfamily and my dad, not because of the threat but I don't want him to think bad about my dad and I don't want spoil this day by bringing my steps. But I will not lie to him about anything which I will tell him. I don't want to start a new relationship with a lie.
