rules
Ah, yes, the part everyone loves. So much fun. We all love rules.
1. Right off the bat, this is a a semi-literate roleplay. Semi-literate. That means a minimum of 4 sentences of text, with good grammar and spelling. I'm a stickler for grammar but I don't mind it when typos occur, they happen all the time - rather I dislike it when a grammar/spelling error is repeated and never corrected. I do not have a problem with people giving me the bare minimum of lines, because let's be honest, no one can write seven full paragraphs of text all the time. Plus, this is third person only. None of this - Andrew: *laughs* i like u too *smiles*.
2. Censor swear words and bring smut to PM. My characters swear all the time. Always. That does not mean swear words should be used constantly and when used, they should censored. Don't want my book banned, thanks. Plus, smut should be brought to PM. Not everyone is comfortable with it and if someone doesn't want to do it, don't. Timeskip.
3. No Mary Sues, Gary Stus or generally perfect characters. Boy do I hate these characters. The best characters are the flawed ones. The messy ones. The ones you love but make you want to slap them or facepalm at the same time. Plus, perfect characters are boring. Flawed ones? Now, they're the ones you wanna watch.
4. No invincibility, OP characters or godmodding. In a fight, your characters cannot suddenly become the awesomest person ever and destroy their enemy with just one blow. The password is to vote on this chapter. No. Getting beaten up is fine. So is getting injured. So is losing. And let's be honest, who the he.ll wants to roleplay with a god who'll anticipate your every move and beat you to pulp?
5. Keep personal drama out of the roleplay. By that I mean, no being an asshole. Make as awful a character as you want within the roleplay, who is universally hated and does terrible, terrible things but outside it? Not a chance. You can create as much drama as you want inside the roleplay but none should escape to the outside. Got it? Good.
That's five rules. Five. That shouldn't be too hard to remember.
