Personality:
Kurt... well, Kurt's Kurt. There's mostly no other way of describing. He's so weird and unpredictable that he's unique to an extreme. Or something. He's the kind of person who could either give you some free weed - a very generous offer in his eyes - or stab you in the hand with a fork, based on his mood. Which keeps it interesting but... not in the way most people want. For a reason. Being afraid of being stabbed with a fork by someone is kind of more scary than anything but to each their own, I guess. It doesn't help that Kurt is high like all the time. It makes the erratic behaviour even more crazy. He's continuously jumpy and paranoid, and is suspicious of basically everything. He swings between being really relaxed and laid-back and almost drowsy and being high-strung and tense.

Kurt's way more fun when he's relaxed. He's the king of comebacks and one-liners. And sarcasm. He's sarcastic so often it's hard to tell when he's not. He's just kind of surprisingly witty. He also literally knows all the best places to get high or have a party or get drunk or just have a good night. It's kind of ridiculous. He's the one you wanna ask for advice if you're looking to do something fun or somewhat illegal. Though he'll probably rob you while he's at it, since he's constantly taking stuff in order to pay for his addictions. Which is less fun, but um, everything comes at a price? That being said, He can make even the depressing situations into entertaining and enjoyable ones. Which isn't always appropriate, but it's definitely a source of amusement. He could probably even put the fun in funeral. And he's probably tried. Failed, most likely, but it's the attempt that counts?

To add to all that, he's probably one of the most dramatic people in existence. It could the slightest of grazes and Kurt will act like his entire limb was lost. It can be funny, until it gets on your nerves and you want to slap him out of it. He literally cannot react to anything like a normal human being, just because he's that over-the-top and dramatic. Nothing he says is the pure, plain truth. It's like he has a compulsion to exaggerate and embellish and lie that slightest bit. You can guarantee everything coming out of his mouth in probably only about 50 percent true. Which is great when he's the only who's seen something and has to tell everyone else or when he's spreading rumours around the school. The truth is there... it's just so distorted and over-the-top it's kind of hard to find. Like almost impossible.

In his rare moments of not being either ridiculously joyous or crazy tense, Kurt's mostly quiet and withdrawn. He can be genuinely caring when he wants to be and his few true friends mean a lot to him. He's extremely loyal and is a great listener, willing to open and be vulnerable when people need him to be, though this is mostly towards his genuine friends. To people he really doesn't know or doesn't like (there's plenty of them), he tends to be closed-off and even cold towards them, contrasting his warmth and kindness he displays only to his closest friends. It can be jarring, his silence while sober in comparison to his near-constant volume while high or drunk. Um. It's what makes him special?

In essence, Kurt's the fun one. Well. He'll steal your stuff, exaggerate everything and continuously get high but um... you might have fun anyway?

Backstory:
Kurt's life is pretty uneventful. He lives with his mom, in a tiny apartment, since they're broke. She smokes a ton and is relatively young. He took drugs for the first time when he was thirteen, introduced to them by some "friends" and quickly got addicted. He has no idea who his dad is and mostly doesn't care. He was nearly expelled when he was fifteen, when he was caught selling drugs to classmates and no one knows why he wasn't. He claims it was his irresistible charm. It definitely wasn't. Overall, he's kind of just been that troubled child with the young mom for basically all his whole life.
