He left with that but his voice showed hurt.

Avu's P.O.V.

Shit!!! He must be so happy yesterday aur maine kya kar dia. But agar aese bhi to bata sakta tha na itna sab karne ki kya zaroorat thi. Never mind I think I should talk to him.

P.O.V. ends

Avu went outside and saw Sid drinking water in kitchen.

Avu: Sid

He didn't reply.

Avu: Sid I am really....

He went out without listening to her. She went behind him.

Avu: Sid I am sorry. Mujhse galti ho gayi

Sid didn't say anything.

Avu: Sid I said sorry

She said a bit coldly but he ignored.

Avu: Theek hai jo dil mein aaye kro. Fuck you

She angrily put food in front of him. Both had it quitely. Leave talking, they didn't even share a glimpse. Once again they slept with anger on each other. Next morning, they went to their respective office. Avu checked everything on her own not trusting Sid.

Sid got late in office. He messaged Avu he would be late. Avu kept waiting for him with food kept in plates. She thought to talk to him again today keeping her ego aside so she made something he liked. He was extremely tired by the time he came back.

Avu: Maine khana lagati hu. Change kar aaoo

She said plainly.

Sid: I had it with my colleagues

Avu: Mujhe inform kyu nhi kia?

Sid: I forgot

Avu: To jo maine khana banaya uska kya?

Sid: Mujhe nhi pata

Avu: Sid ye kya matlab hai?

She said in a bit loud voice.

Sid: Just shut the fuck up. I am in no mood to talk to you. To hell with your food. I don't give a fuck. Jo mann mein aaye karoo

He shouted at her leaving her standing still and went to change. And nothing changed. This night was also same. Both went to bed with anger on each other and distances increasing.

Days passed like this. Either they used to not talk for days. If anyone of them tried to initiate conversation, it would end in an argument.

It was Avu's birthday eve. Both were in office. Inspite of everything, Avu was hoping Sid would do something at 12 AM like every year. Moreover it was her first birthday after their marriage. But he came home tired and went to sleep straight after dinner. She still thought he must have planned something. She wasn't able to sleep in excitement and nervousness what if he had forgotten.

Whole night passed. She was so angry on him. Next morning she was kitchen preparing breakfast expecting a sudden back hug with a happy birthday and I love you but nothing happened. Sid quitely did his breakfast and left for office. Avu was sad and angry at Sid at the same time.

The whole day passed. Sid came back around 8 PM. Avu was usually back by then but today she didn't come. He thought she must have been caught in office work. He got fresh and was waiting for her. It was 9 and there were no sign of her. She didn't called or messaged him about being late. He was getting really restless now. He called her but she didn't pick up. He kept calling her. Finally at 11, he called cab and went to her office but security guard told there was no one. He kept calling her but she didn't pick up. He came back hell worried and was praying her to be safe.
