Next morning

Rahul woke up early as always. Sana was sleeping so he quickly did his morning chores. He came out and saw her alarm was ringing but she turned it off. He thought she will wake up so went in kitchen to prepare their breakfast. But after 5 minutes, he again heard alarm. It rang 2-3 times. So, he went in room only to see her sleeping while her alarm was on snooze. He shooked his head in disbelief. He went and shaked her.

Rah: Sana wake up yrr

She hit him with her hand.

Sana: 5 minute more

Rah: Arre already 5 minutes minutes ke chakkar mein 7 baj gye hai. 8 baje tak pohonchna hai school. Late ho jaenge dono. Utho

He forcefully made her stand and dragged her to washroom and pushed her inside. Her eyes were still closed so he put a mug full of water on her and ran outside. He handed her towel.

Rah: Be quick. Mujhe first day late nhi hona

He again went in kitchen to prepare breakfast. Sid called him.

Rah: Hii dad

Sid: Hello. Ready for the first day champ?

Rah: Of course dad. Bilkul ready in new uniform. Bass breakfast ready kar rha tha

Sid: Kya hai aaj breakfast mein

Rah: Bread omlette with coffee

Sid: Alright. Chlo tu kar tyaari. Mein bhi nikalta hu

Rah: Sure dad

Sid: Have a nice day. Mann lagake padna and do masti as well

Rah: Yes dad

Sid: Chlo bye

Rah: Bye

He hunged the call. Then he heard Sana's phone ringing from bedroom. He slowed down the gas and went inside and saw Caller i'd. It was Avu. He thought for a moment. Then picked it up.

Rah: Hii aunty

Avu: Hello Rahul. Beta uth gyi Sana ya abhi nhi

Rah: Uth dia tha maine usse aunty. Don't worry. Washroom mein hai. Bass aa rhi hogi

Avu: Hash!! Thank you so much beta. And really sorry tumhe iski wajah se jo bhi problem ho rhi hai. Actually na thodi jalli hai wo. Abhi bhi bachi hai

Rah: It's okk aunty. I am completely okk with it. Aap tension matt lo

Avu: Thanks beta

Rah: Achha aunty mein breakfast bana rha tha. Jal na jae to I will talk to you later

Avu: Hnn hnn beta koi ni. Tum log ho jaoo ready. Just take care

Rah: Hnji aunty

He hung up the call and went back to the kitchen. Sana came after few minutes.

Sana: Aaj to khana mein banane wali thi na. Tum kyo bana rhe ho?

Rahul turned around.

Rah: Madam aapke aasre bethe rehte to aaj reh jata school. 7:20 ho gye hai already. Jaldi khaoo aur 10 minute mein nikalna hai hume

Sana: To tumhari galati hai mujhe jldi kyo nhi uthaya tune

Rah: Yrr dekh mere paas na behs ka time nhi hai aur tu sote hue itni cute lagti hai mein kaise utha deta

He said last line dreamily. She stomped her foot on his to bring him out of his dreamland. She walked inside and took two plates and two cups.

Sana: Kya hai breakfast mein?

Rah: Agar tuk non-veg kha leti ho to I will omelette in your bread. Nhi to butter laga deta hu

Sana: Na mujhe omelette chalega

Rah: Alright then here you go

He put sandwiches in both plates. She poured coffee in cups. It was spilling out. He looked at her and sighed.

Rah: Chhod do isse mein kar loonga

Sana: Mein kar rhi hu na

Rah: Tum jaoo betho. Ye plates le jaoo. Coffee mein le aata hu

Sana: Okk

She took both plates and went outside. Rahul came after two minutes with two coffee cups and kept one in front of her.

Rah: Here you go

Both quickly had their breakfast and went down picking their bags.

Ani: Aaj pehla din to meetha to banta hai na

She forwarded two dairy milk chocolates with a smile and both took it with a huge smile. She put tilak on their forheads. Rahul touched her and Shiv's feet. They blessed him. Sana hugged them. They kissed the top of her head.

Ani: Khoob pado likho aur apne maa baap ka naam roshan karo. Jaoo jldi. Nhi to late ho jaooge

They left smiling. Bright sun was there. Birds were chirping and they were gonna do a new start of their life. Their school was on walking distance so they both went on foot.
