Alex was conflicted as she looked up at the large building in front of her. After careful consideration and concealing her ears and tail with a cloak she decided to see what being an adventurer would be like. it made the most sense at the time and she couldn't help but gulp, staring down at the bag of coins Sara gave to her. "Lio left some money for you before going on his mission." Was what Sara said to her.. but she could assume she also put some money in here because it was alot...

She turned out to be very helpful as she pointed towards the nearest Armory that was renowned for its weapons made by dwarves... or so she heard. Alex couldn't really be amazed until he saw the armor and weapons herself... considering scams are not native to one world. She mused silently as she walked into the armory, looking around briefly before hearing a resounding. "Welcome to Melvins armory! How may I help you?" Turning she saw a skinny guy, she presumed to be 'Melvin'. Looking at his clothes they seemed to be in a condition that seemed above all the ones she noticed around the town... looking at him cautiously she turned. "I'm just looking..."

Just as she said this, he immediately rushed forward and appeared with a sword in his hand. "Try out this! I'm sure it will suit you perfectly!" Frowning to herself, her hand reached out and grabbed ahold of the handle... it was surprisingly light as she muttered a small 'appraise' Staring at it she looked at the man named Melvin and handed it back, her hand brushing his, another appraisal happening as she touched him. "Melvin Rider... Title Con... artist..." She ignored the man at this point, going through all the equipment in the building, and gave a silent sigh.

She was starting to walk towards the door before Melvin called out. "We have a back room if  you want to see anything else?" It seemed desperate at this point but she shrugged, thinking one more check through wouldn't be bad... though she wondered why there was a room in the back in the first place... As she walked into the room her eyes widened at the quality difference. Turning back, Melvin gave a sly smile as she narrowed her eyes. "Congratulations, you passed the test."

Alex tilted her head in confusion. "This was a test?" Melvin nodded his head. "Of course! I wouldn't want wannabe adventurers getting ahold of precious equipment like mines... if they can't tell what was useless, then they don't deserve proper equipment." Tilting her head curiously. "Isn't that dangerous, though?" Melvin shook his head, "Guilds have an expectation for gear when it comes to missions, those wannabe adventurers stick to cleaning houses for dust bunnies." He gave a booming laugh as Alex could only wonder. "So thats how he got that title..." Looking through, Melvin called after her again as she sighed, looking at him expectantly. "What kinda fighter are you?"

Alex paused, not really knowing, she shook her head. "Well... each adventurer has some things they like to focus on, I know pretty girls like you love their daggers." He started rummaging into a chest as she watched from behind in an awkward manner. "Oh! What about magic, how's your magic skills?" She looked curiously as she opened her status window once again. "Well... I do have that skill... perhaps using magic wouldn't be the worst idea?" She wondered, before he pulled out a few crystals. "These are mana crystals! They don't look like much but if you ever feel fatigued you just crack one of these bad boys open and BAM! Regenerated mana!"

It was like watching a toddler explaining his toys... Alex could only inch away before she bumped into a armor stand and it glowed. Jumping at the glow, she turned back to Melvin who looked on curiously. "Oh! Your affinity is strong with fire, I see!" She turned back to the man in confusion before he pointed towards the armor that she had bumped into. "This armor changes based on whoever touches it last, so of course if you are wearing it, it will change to suit you. It's very special." Touching it himself, the parts which glowed red turned back to brown. "My affinity is more Intune with earth magic. Giving a nod to confirm she understood, Alex looked towards him as she appraised the armor. "How much is it?" the stats it seemed to have were insane...

"Really? You like it? I have had trouble selling it... it seems to be different stats based on who last touched it, so... if it seems to in tune well with you, you can have it for fifty silvers." Pulling the amount of her bag, she placed it in Melvin's hand as he counted them and nodded his head. "Where was that dagger you had in mind?" Alex asked as she lifted the armor up and gave a surprised look at how bendy it was... but she saw the stats and left the shock and shrugged.

"Here it is." She turned back around and her eyes dialed back... it was like... "No." She turned around... her eye markings turning ever so slightly... "What? You haven't even..." She glared at him, her eyes glowing briefly, so did the armors points in her hand. "I said no..." In his hand was something similar to what the priest was about to stab her with... same exact design and engravings... looking forward, she grabbed a two daggers off the rack that seemed to be good enough. "How much are these?" She asked as Melvin put away the other dagger, noticing how distressed the girl was.

"Twenty-five silver each." Pulling out another fifty, she placed it and turned around, holding the armor close to her, the cloak fell down as she turned around towards Melvin before giving a small nod, seeing the surprised look on the man before he nodded as well. "Stop making yourself small." She took it to heart as she walked back to the inn, with a new aura around her... everyone looked at her with either distrust or disgust... but this time it will be different."

...

"Hello! Welcome traveler." Alex looked on in curiosity as she walked into a large building, just one quick ask around and she was pointed towards the guildhall. It was one of the bigger buildings in the town, though hearing about how renowned adventurers were, it made sense to the profession to be so big. Though Alex could only wonder how the 'quests' were divided between guilds, perhaps multiple requests are sent out and whoever gets it first gets the reward... Looking on, Alex walked forward towards the man who called out. It was a short brown haired man who seemed very bouncy at the sight of a new person.

"Hello there! What can I do for you?" He smiled and tilted his head, closing his eyes as he did. "My friend said I should register here if I wanted to become an adventurer?" The man nodded in acknowledgement as he pulled out slips of paper. "Yes! There's a small amount of paperwork to fill out, but I can get you an adventurers license right away!" Alex stared as the man pulled out a lot of things from below him, a few stamps, a couple of hard pieces of paper, and a crystal. "It's that easy? Man, if only getting a driver's license was like this."  her thoughts trailed off as he pushed the paper in front of her.

Looking through it all briefly before she started going through it... Name, age, gender. Alex shuddered for a moment but let herself put 'woman'. "Role?" She wondered as she got to the last question. "Excuse me... um..." She paused before the guy in turn smiled sheepishly. "Oh, sorry! It's Seal!" Alex paused as he looked at the man and wondered... 'He kinda reminds me of one...' shaking her head. "Seal, what does it mean by role?" He hummed curiously before nodding, "It means what your role is in groups, if you like to fight in the front taking damage, you will be a defender! Or if you like staying in the back shooting arrows." He started doing gestures as Alex watched on with an amused look.

"What is your fighting style?" He asked curiously as she pulled out the two daggers. "I have a lot of magic skills as well..." Alex wondered as Seal looked at the daggers in awe. "Well, it seems like you're a special!" Alex could only deadpan at the man who looked up, and could only look sheepish as the girl clearly didn't realize what he meant. "Special role means to be outside the normal, usually someone who has daggers would stick with close range tactics, but because you have magic skills, it seems like you won't be in the norm of one of these roles."

"I see." Alex wrote it down and shrugged her shoulder as she pushed it towards him. "Thank you very much. I will have your license made right now!" Relaxing a bit she watched seal curiously as he jumbled some pieces of what I'd assume pieces of the license as she gave a short giggle... Seal in question turned his head and blushed brightly before going forward and placing the stamp over the license. "Um... If you would like to take your hood off I could get a good one." He grabbed the crystal and placed it in front of him.

She looked at in confusion before she sighed, grabbing the hood she let it fall below and Seal's eyes widened in surprise at the fox ears, as the few people behind her. "Oh hell no, we are not having a beast turn into an adventurer." Alex turned her head curiously, clearly bored with the same thing over and over again. "Is there a rule against it?" She asked while the guy seemed to growl in anger. "Now who's the beast, acting like a big bad bear when all you are." Looking back, her marks turned dangerously. "A simple bug." The pressure the man felt floored him back to his seat. While Seal watched on in facination as Alex sighed, her marks turning back as she did... 'That was fun.' She muttered to herself as she grinned. Seal's crystal glowed brightly and died down almost immeditely.

Alex looked at him curiously as she looked down, her license started to form a picture of her face... she could assume it was the crystals power... "So many aspects of my old world..."  "There you are... Alex." Seal grinned as she gave a thankful nod towards him... She was glad there was a few people in this world that wouldn't give her shit... even if they did... She wasn't going to be small anymore.

"Alright. So how do I get a job? Assuming from here as well?" Seal nodded as he pointed towards a board. "over there, you have to pick a job suited for your level, I would suggest to pick one of the easier ones..." "got it!" She started her way over there before someone was in front of her... "OH look who it is. How's it going, Terra." The man was looking down deadly at her, "What did I say last time... Oh right... Next time." He grabbed his sword and everyone skattered around them. A circle of people watched in anticipation. "Terra! Theres no time for this!" Seal said as he was getting through the opened window from the adminstration but fell flat on his face. Alex winced at that and she smiled at him, giving him reassurance. "Adventurers are allowed to fight, yes its frowned upon in a guild but." Terra tilted his sword, the glint of it shining brightly. "I can kill this fucker without Lio getting in the way!"

Alex watched as the sword was coming quickly from under her, grabbing her cloak she through it back behind her... making sure that Lio's cloak was intact. Her new attired glistening and shining brightly. "Tell me why you are so keen on killing me." Alex said, grabbing the daggers from their straps on her waist. "Why else, your a beast." Alex twirled the daggers briefly before they settled on either side of her. "Do you really believe that, because I have animal charactersistics?" Terra growled in anger. "Because your all hellspawns sent from the devil himself!" Ah there it was. Giggling to herself, she placed her hand on her face. "If you treat me like a demon, why should I not become one." Fire erupted from either side of her, she tilted her head, the fire shocking everyone around the room. "You poor fool."

But just as people were getting ready to attack... the fires died down... and so did Alex... the markings turned back around and she placed her daggers where they were kept. "Luckily for you, your wrong." She walked past him... completely calm, even when he was shaking with his sword still in his hand... "Threaten me one more time." She whispered as she walked. "I will gladly send you to your god sooner rather then later." She grabbed a job that seemed rather easy and placed it on Seals administation table. "Can you sign this one for me Seal?" She smiled towards him, a complete 180 of how she was just moments ago. "Y-Yeah..." He stuttered as she gave a small tongue out at the others who still watched her carefully. "Try to, i'm easily amused."
