I need someone to scream at me
"Ophelia!"
A bloodcurling, heartwrenching cry. Unless your blood ran cold, unless you didn't have a heart. V. W. creeped closer, her destroying fit quickly vanishing into predator silence as she grasped a vision of the prey.
And oh, what a beautiful sight.
Ashblond soaked hair sticking on wet skin, be it from the rain of the tears it was impossible to tell since the sky seemed to crash its way down to her cheeks, bony body red eyes wrecked silhouet in ripped stained jeans and frantic sobs. The woman kneeled in front of the creature.
"Tell me, bunny, what are you doing all alone this late in this part of town?"
Hopeful blue eyes lifted their way to her, pupils like stains of burnt coffee.
"It is dangerous ma'am, isn't it?
-Yes it is, something bad could happen to you. I mean, you never know. There are very bad people out there."
Tiny chuckle, yet it held so much pain.
"Yes. Big, bad wolves. They go out after dark don't they?
-Well then, thank God I found you.
-But I wasn't looking to be found.
-Though how could I save you if I did not find you first, bunny?
-Who said I needed saving?
-Everybody does."
Serious wide eyes studied her cautiously.
"You don't believe that. That's a lie. Why are you lying, ma'am?"
V. W. clenched her fists in anger, her patience growing thin at the wrecked girl still sat carelessly in the middle of the empty road. She pretended to shiver from the cold -that was another lie, for her body since years had not longed for any kind of warmth.
"How about we continue this conversation in my car? I am shivering, and you look like you are about to get sick."
The girl just nodded and followed, head bowed in full respect as they walked to the worn out car.
"Here we go", the woman said once she had turned on the heat- obviously far too much for the girl's liking, but she enjoyed watching her squirm in discomfort. "Now we can talk. Is everything alright?
-Actually, I was wondering if you could help me with something, ma'am.
-Tell me bunny, anything.
-If I gave you a little money, would you do something for me?"
To that, V. W. let out a cold, dry laugh.
"And here I thought you were the prostitute."
But far from offended, the creature tilted her head to the side as if she hadn't thought of the idea, and was genuinely considering it.
"With all due respect ma'am I don't believe I would enjoy that very much.
-Is that so?"
Another tiny chuckle.
"Alright then, what would you like me to do?
-I am so sorry miss, this is probably gonna feel really weird to you but, I was just wondering... I need someone to scream at me."
And V. W. had never been more destabilised in her life.
"Sorry Bunny I do not reckon I have understood you very well. Could you repeat your request?
-I need someone to scream at me."
The need, no, the desperation in that sentence made her stomach churn.
"Well then. If that is everything you desire, I shall see no problem in granting you such wish."
The girl's lips slowly parted -she probably didn't expect her request to be fullfilled so diligently- she nodded and the woman once again caught a glimpse of the savage hunger that seemed to always linger in the bottom of her eyes, rising to the shallow by the sole power of her words. Feeling the adrenaline and impatience running through her veins, V. W. took a deep breath, listened to the wind howling into the car joints, listened to the rain crashing on the windows and the furious growling of the heat and suddenly she was screaming at the top of her lungs, and the creature beneath her was sobbing and shaking and squirming in a way that turned her crazy and the atmosphere had turned into nothing but a mix of violence and need and by the time she had ran out of insulting words to cry out, nothing was left but misery and lust.
The girl clenched her tiny fist, holding on for dear life on the fabric of her coat only to be sent a harsh glare.
"Who said you were allowed to touch me?
-Thank you! Oh my god I'm sorry, thank you ma'am, I'm so sorry."
She didn't let go though. V. W. looked at the creature expectantly, awaiting its next move.
"Payment!" she suddenly seemed to recall, clapsing hands with wide eyes before struggling through the large pockets of her jacket to finally draw a wallet. "That's it, payment, I had almost forgotten. How much will it be?
-That is quite alright, you can repay me later on."
To that, the girl nodded and turned around, fingers ghosting on the car door for one second before turning back and locking eyes with her once again.
"It's locked, isn't it ma'am?
-Yes. You seem quite comfortable considering the position you find yourself in, bunny. Do you understand your condition right now?
-Are you gonna kill me ma'am?
-It is rather impolite to answer a question with another, pet.
-Yes but, are you?
-No.
-Oh, well I'm quite alright then. We should probably shag now though, I'd like to get going."
To that the woman threw a puzzled look. Although she usually enjoyed having absolute control of the beings surrounding her, she'd be lying if she said she didn't like the way the creature kept surprising her. And she had already lied too much that evening, for it had been left very clear that lying was against the rules.
"I would very much enjoy it if you did not speak for the rest of the trip, pet."
The girl pouted.
"Can I least turn on the heat? I'm boiling in-
-Do I need to repeat myself?"
The creature unexpectlingly sent her a glare of anger and something else she couldn't quite decipher, before taking off her jacket and shirt. V. W. felt her hunger grow at the sight of the girl's black laced bra, and she licked her lips. She also noticed how she wasn't wearing a seatbelt but didn't say anything, not wanting to disturb the deafening sound of silence. After all, she had no responsability in her acts. If she died it would be her lost.
The car ride felt like an eternity before she finally was able to open the car doors, grab the other by the forearm with no care for her lack of clothes and slam her against the cement wall of the building she slept in.
"You look hungry", whispers and thin lips lingering near her ear.
"I am.
-What for?
-Flesh."
And just like that, the creature bared her neck, whimpering slightly as an animal grip tugged down her ashy hair.
Bodies dragged by the hair up the stairs and forming bruises scattered on olive skin, tangled legs and arms open wide or slipping out of reach and necks, feet, grasped wrists in imaginary handcuffs and the noise of the shoulder blades slamming against the doors, shelves and tables and blood and saliva and tears mixed together in tongues and fingers lingering at the edge of the bodies, on the verge of madness, and the screaming of these who find themselves complete only with the lost of humanity, to wrecked stained bedsheets, all night long. V. W. opened her eyes the next morning still baithing into this feeling of glory and pure bliss, only to gasp in bewilderment when she saw the destroyed girl laying peacefully next to her.
She forbid herself to feel joy at that sight.
It was the first night someone stayed.
