Would you?

I got snakes,
Slithering all over my skin,
Which makes it hard,
To see in my eyes,
I got snakes,
Like Medusa had,
Hissing all over her head,
Maybe that's the reason,
They slowly turned into stones,
Maybe that's the reason,
You slowly turned into a stone.

I've started to spew fire,
Burning other hearts down,
In order to protect mine,
Like Lernean Hydra,
Guarding the entrances into Hades.

I'm exhausted, you know.
I keep praying to Hypnos,
And his son Thanatos,
To come for me together,
Every time Nyx comes down to play.

Sometimes, I feel like Sisyphus,
Rolling up the boulder over and over again,
Up the hill and it tumbles down anyway,
There's this burden I'm unable to get rid of.
And I have no idea why I'm getting punished for,
And my shoulders hurt,
My legs sore,
And I don't want to keep moving anymore.

Remember when I told you,
They'll celebrate Tanabata for us,
Festival of the two lost lovers,
Separated by distance,
I'll be Orihime begging her father,
You'll be Hikoboshi,
On the other side of the river of stars,
Patiently waiting for me.
But would they now?

Sometimes, I feel like
My love hath burnt me,
Like Kagutsuchi burned Izanami,
But you never bothered following me to Yomi,
Now that I've tasted melancholy,
There's no coming back.
And my body is filled with maggots,
Steadily eating me inside out.
But you won't bother seeing,
Unlike Izanagi.

And there's a battle of Ragnarök,
Inside my brain,
Will everything resurface anew,
Or would it be end of me,
I know nothing about it.

So would you dare to look in my eyes,
And caress the snakes squirming all over me?
Would you call Poseidon to put off my fire?
Would you pray to Brahma and Vishnu for me,
Every time Al-Qaum comes down to play?
would you be my Pasithea?
Would you wait on the other side,
And let people write wishes and poems?
Would you follow me to end of the world?
Would you be my Eirene?
Would you?
