School day was officially over, as I walked down the very full hallways. I could not stop thinking about what happened with Cyrus and Mia in the stairwell. I wonder what Mia meant by "remember your place?" Cyrus seemed to be really mad from the conversation. I hope he is okay.

Then again why do I care? It's not like we are besties.

Walking into the main entry of the school. It was even more full of students wearing school colors, etc.

"Luna!"

Emma across the room waving an arm to me. Kevin and Anna are standing next to her. They look engrossed in something. I slowly inched my way across the room to reach them.

"Hey Emma" I say as I finally reach her.

There are so many people in the entry. I look over to Kevin and Anna. Making a lost face and looking back at Emma.

"What's up with them?" I lean in to Emma.

"Turtles. Well actually they are sea turtles." Emma answered.

"Don't judge us!" Kevin snaps at us. Finally acknowledging us.

"They are super cute!" Anna chimes in.

They both move their attention back to the phone.

"They are finally hatching!' Kevin crys.

Anna awed at the cuties being born into this world. They are both fangirling over turtles. They are so cute.

"Luna, are you going to the hockey game tonight?"

Moving my attention from the turtles back to Emma.

"I was not planning on going, why?"

"We are all going tonight. You should come with us!"

I make a face. "I am not really a sports person." I cringe.

"Luna you got to go!" Kevin speaks joining the convention.

"I thought you were glued to your turtles?" I joked.

"Hahah very funny. I can multitask task." He says, crossing his arms.

"Come with us!" Anna jumped in. Finally joining us in the real world that's not just turtles.

"I don't know anything about sports!" I repeat.

"You will be with us! We will teach you the rules of the game." Kevin adds.

"Go to this one game. If you don't like it you don't have to go to another game ever again." Emma said.

I look at the 3 of them with there puppy dog eyes.

I roll my eyes. "Fine, I will go."

They cheered. Kevin and Anna high fived.

"I will let Rachel know, now everyone is going!" Kevin declears.

"Is our hockey team really that good?" I questioned.

"Oh yes! They are very good!" Anna answeared.

"Why did you think I told you on your first day the hockey kids rule the school! There is a reason for that!" Kevin gestured with his hands.

"Owwww!" Kevin cry's out. Anna is pulling on Kevin's ear. "Be nice to her! She still does not know everything about this school!" Anna barked at Kevin.

"Tonight will be fun." I look at Emma. Who just nodded in agreement.

The hockey game was a home game so we did not all have to jam ourselves into someone's car.

We sat in the middle of the stadium seats. The ice rink was already pretty full of students and parents. I just sat there watching people come and go from their seats. Grabbing food and waiting for others people to show up.

"What some?"

Kevin holds out nachos right in front of my face. "No, thanks." I respond to him.

He shrugged then took a seat next to me.

"Where are the others?" I asked.

Kevin did not pull his eyes off the team members doing warm ups on the ice. "They went to the bathroom." He says eating his nachos.

I look at the ice rink. Watching the team members move up and down doing their warm ups. My eyes looking at each team member. As if I was looking for someone. Then my eyes landed on a dirty blond mop head I can recognize anywhere.

Cyrus. His hockey uniform actually looked pretty good on him. Wait! I don't want to look at him because of his uniform!? I put my hands to my face in pre discussed in myself.

"Found you guys!" Anna boomed.

Oh good they are back I don't have to keep thinking about Cyrus.

Anna takes a seat nexted to Kevin and Emma sits nexted to her. Rachel plops herself right next to me.

Rachel sat down her drink and looked at me then looked at the ice rink.

"By any chance are you checking out Cyrus?" She smirked.

I slowly turned to look at her. "Shut up." I quietly snapped.

Rachel just kept looking at me. "I know what you were looking at."

I look at her right in the eyes. "I will not approve or deny anything."

Then I look away from her. Watching the ice rink again. Rachel eyed me, like a bird is about to attack it's prey.

"You know you should be more honest with yourself."

I look at Rachel. Now drinking her soda. "You keep lying to yourself or you're not letting yourself go there. So which is it? Lieing or just will not let your guard down?"

I could not take my eyes off Rachel. It's as if she is reading my thoughts.

"Well at least one of you is not trying to hide their true intentions." Rachel nodded her head.

I look where Rachel gestured. Cyrus was standing by the ice rink wall and was staring right at us. Well me.

He smiled and waved once he noticed I was looking at him.

I gave a little wave back. "You seem to distract him as much as he distracts you."

I could not breathe once Rachel said that to me. Since part of me realized that it was partly true.

The buzzer went off marking the start of the game. Since I basically didn't know anything about hockey. Kevin and the others keep explain the rules are and what is happened in the game to me. By the end of the game I was starting to under it.

Our school won. They killed the other school, by the middle of the game.

"So Luna, what did you think of your first hockey game?" Emma asked as we were walking out of the building.

"It was good! I enjoyed it! I think I will get the rules down soon so then you guys don't have to explain everything to me."

Kevin waved his hand. "Naaa you were fine!"

"Glad you enjoyed it!" Anna jumped.

"Ouch!" Anna shouted.

"I am so sorry! I was not looking where I was-" Anna trailed off realizing who she just ran herself into.

"It's okay! I am fine. Are you okay?" Cyrus asks Anna helping her stand up.

Kevin walks over to Anna. Slapping the back of her head. "I told you to look. Where you are going!" He joked. Then walked away from her to the car.

"Hey come back here Kevin!" Anna cried chasing after him.

"Sorry, again cyrus!" Anna called out.

Emma looked at me then to Cyrus. "I am going to chase after Anna. Don't want another Kevin and Anna disagreement." Following the direction they went in.

I look at Rachel. She rolled her eyes. "I will go join them. I will see you later. It's always good to see you Cyrus." She says walking past him. She stick her tung out at me behind him.

Cyrus looked lost. "Am I missing something?"

I shock my head. "It's nothing. Congrats on wining the game!"

He scratched his head and was looking down at the ground. "Thanks. I did not expect you to come tonight." He answers.

"My friends convinced me to come." I said plainly.

"I am glad they convinced you. I noticed you in the crowd, It very easy to see your punk metal look in the crowd."

"Oh really. Next time I will blend in so you don't see me easily next time." I teased.

He walked closer to me. Where I could feel his breath.

"I will still find you in the crowd no matter what you are wearing."

"We will see about that." I say walking past him.

"What will it take for you to let me in?" Cyrus calls out.

"Just keep trying and prove me wrong." I smirked.

"Good night Cyrus."

"Good Night Ms. Luna Sharp." 

When though my back was turned away from Cyrus I just knew he was smiling standing there in the dark.
