youngjae heaved a sigh, going through his phone. as he waited for the elevator to arrive at their floor. he didn't want to see jaebum at the momenr but he needed to go to work.

he was crying the whole night, causing him to lose sleep and be all cranky when he woke up. finally, the elevator doors opened. he stepped out and headed to his office.

he stepped in his space, taking off his jacket and placing it somewhere, perhaps the couch. he placed his bag on his table, taking out the papers he needed to work on.

he opened his laptop, glancing to his side seeing jaebum working on something in his laptop too. this just made him sigh. he finally decided to just stop, he was so tired of everything right now.

the door to jaebum's office opened, hyuna walking in fashionably before going to jaebum's side to peck his cheek. jaebum smiled, before continuing on his work again.

they looked so happy.

youngjae felt empty. he felt really sad and lonely. he sighed, he didn't even know how much he sighed this day but it was sure a lot. he fixed his eyes on his laptop, continuing his work.

youngjae didn't see how jaebum took a brief glimpse of him.

after hours of work, youngjae finally headed home. he was really tired and all he could think right now was sleep.

he took his keys out and started opening his door. he rose a brow when he found out it was open. but i locked it?

youngjae immediately got nervous before he opened the door, going inside to check if his assumption was right.

"Coco..?" youngjae called, he looked around and sighed in relief when he saw coco laying on the ground lazily out of boredom.

he took off his shoes and placed his bag on the side, going towards him.

"thank god, you're safe." youngjae mumbled. now knowing coco was far from danger, he had to look around the house to see if there were any signs of robbe-

youngjae instantly passed out when someone from behind him covered his mouth with a handkerchief.
