I've come across many stories with the typical boy meets girl, some shit happens and then eventually they live happily ever after.

Now don't get me wrong, of course everybody has the right to write whatever they want - after all it is Wattpad and the whole point of this app is to share your creativity.

However, unless there's some spice added into your general teen fiction novel about a white suburban Barbie meeting a handsome, even more suburban Ken - stop.

This cliché has been so overdone and it's honestly sad at this point. I read one story and kind of enjoyed it, but then in search for new books lead me to a whole plethora of the same, overused and cliché story line.

Writing a book is not simple nor am I saying I'm a perfect author - however, an author is always going to have some sort of creativity, whether they're extremely good at writing, or whether they're amateur.

I think this whole mini chapter rant stems for the fact that many people have said my books "scare" them or "freak" them out - sometimes even "disturb" them and to be honest, I'm glad they invoke a feeling of 'wow-this-is-different-i'm-going-to-go-back-to-the-usual-book' because at least I can sleep well in my satin sheet bed with the thought of 'I am not a basic bitch'.

Anyways, to conclude - think of a more creative story line. If you wanna use the boy meets girl one, go for it! But stop making it the same thing that's accumulating half of Wattpad.

This isn't about anybody in particular, but hey, if she shoe fits...
