John's P. O. V

"ALEXANDER HAMILTON COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"

Quick steps came down the stairs and a very shook Alexander showed in front of me. Hand in the chest and everything.

"What?! What happened?! " He asked with a worried look.

"Oh nothing, just this. " I held up a medium hamper of dirty laundry. "Guess who forgot it was his turn to do the laundry and now I need my uniform but all of them are dirty cause SOMEONE-" I remarked. "Forgot to do the laundry?"

Alex widened his big violet eyes. "Oh God, I forgot to do the laundry. "

"Yup." I sighed. "My duty starts at seven today, you have-" I looked up to the kitchen watch. "Forty five minutes to give me a fresh washed uniform. " I smiled and bent down to kiss his nose.

"Sorry babe. " He murmured and pecked my lips.

"It's okay. " I walked away and went upstairs to get a shower.

Half an hour later, Alex entered our bedroom with the same hamper now full of clean clothes.

He smiled as I changed. "What time are you coming today?"

"I don't know baby, probably at 3am? Probably by tomorrow morning. "

Alex sighed and nodded. "Be safe." He walked towards me. "I love you. "

I furrowed my eyebrows but smiled anyways. "And I love you... " I hugged him by his waist. "What is up with you, Lex?"

"Nothing, is just... " He shook his head. "We need to talk about something important when you come back. "

I got worried and held his hands. "Is it bad? Are you sick? Baby, I'm a nurse I know how to-"

"No!" Alex exclaimed, and laughed under his breath. "It's nothing bad... Well, I don't know how you'll take it. "

"Alex? You're scaring me. " I stated grabbing his face. "I still don't have to go in like ten minutes, what is it?"

"Uh... d-do you remember that one time I told you about a friend of mine owning an orphanage?" He mumbled.

"Yeah?"

"W-well... I was talking with her the other day a-and... " He kept silence.

"Alex?" I insisted.

"I made an appointment to go adopt a kid!" He spat then placed his hand over his mouth.

I blinked several times and my mouth hung open.

"Are you mad?" He asked, I could hear his voice tremble.

"Mad? No. Surprised? Yeah, a lot. " I sat on the bed with a blank expression. "Aren't both parents supposed to make the appointment? H-how did you do it?"

"I told her you were a nurse and that the hospital duty kept you busy and she understood. So I placed date on next weekend, cause you don't work that Saturday. " Alex explained, fidgeting with his thumbs.

I nodded slowly. "Are you sure you want this?" He sat next to me and held my hand.

"I am. I've wanted this ever since we got married two years ago. B-but if you're not ready, I can-"

"No." I shook my head. "Alex, I want to start a family with you. I married you for a reason, and it's not just about your mind blowing orals. " I joked.

He blushed and nudged me. "Shut up."

"And so," I continued. "This is a one time chance, let's do it. "

He hugged me. "Thanks."

"Always baby girl. "

Next morning when I came back home, Alex was already doing breakfast.

"Good morning handsome. " He came to me and kissed my cheek. "You should take a shower and go to sleep."

I nodded and yawned. As I walked upstairs I remembered something.

"Boy or girl?" I yelled from the stairway.

"Does it matter? It's going to be our kid, AKA, they're going to be awesome. "
