This is a little rushed because I wanna get to the good parts but I don't wanna rush the story either so theirs a time skip.

I walked into band class that morning, I sat in my chair and that's when I saw him. I made eye contact with him smiling, he smirked sweetly at me and waved before taking his seat, I never even knew he was in this class with me...guess I never noticed him.

He sat at the back and payed close attention but I could only focus on him. I sighed and focused on class.

After class I looked over at him and he was talking to one of the girls Elisa I think was her name, I think she's actually a freshmen. She giggled and laughed at everything he said before the bell rang.

I don't know why but I felt a slight range of jealousy...I'm sure it's nothing.

*two weeks later*

"Pete you're gonna be late for school! And I gotta go to work early today so hurry!" I heard my mom yell. I groaned and fell on the ground hitting my head, "You okay?!" She called up.

"Yeah my shirt just fell" I whined,

"Sounded a lot heavier than that" She walked into my room,

"Yeah I was in it" I nuzzled the floor sighing, "Today won't be a good day" The floor muffled my words,

"Oh quiet just because one bad thing happened doesn't mean it will all be bad today" She smiled sweetly before walking out.

I got up checking my phone, 'One new message: Patrick <3' oh yeah I forgot me and Patrick are friends.

'Goodmorning I'll see you at school dude' The message read at 5 am, damn that boy wakes up early....wait dude?!?! I've just been friendzoned!!

I groaned and fell on my bed sighing, "Dammit and I thought I was getting somewhere"

*flashback to Wednesday*

'Okay Pete just go up and talk to him....but he's talking to someone else....yes but you know Tyler so go up and talk to him....but what if I interrupt something? What if he has a girlfriend...oh god..' I coached myself as I walked up to Patrick who was talking to Tyler by the door before the bell rang.

I stood there smiling nervously, "H-Hi" I waved, Tyler gave Patrick a small smile and looked at me before walking off, okay that was strange. I shrugged it off.

"Hi Pete" He smiled at me, he knows my name ahhhhh!!!. Okay calm Pete.

I wasn't paying attention then the topic got to sushi, "Well I mean if you were a tuna roll you'd be the center because it's spicy" I said without thinking,

"Did you just call me hot?" He asked me, my eyes went wide, 'fuck'

"Wait no I uhhh-" He just laughed as I was red as a tomato,

"You're funny dude it's cool" He smiled sweetly at me, he gave me a hug, "I'll see you later" He walked to class and I ran to mine freaking out in my mind....he hugged me tight though..I smiled a bit biting my lip as I walked into class.

*end of flashback*

I sighed nuzzling the pillow, he makes my heart flutter. I sent a text back about seeing him at school and I got up getting dressed.

I threw on a plain black shirt, black jeans and some beat up converse before grabbing my bag and heading down to my mom who was yelling for me to hurry.

We got to my school, I got out of the car running straight into a pole, "Ow" I chuckled to myself as my mom laughed sweetly driving away.

I walked to the band area where all my friends would be and that's when I saw him. I gulped and joined his group of friends, oh god what if they hate me.

He smiled sweetly at me and started talking to me about anything and everything. Soon I noticed the group of friends slowly drifting away from us as we talked, he was so cute and silly and sweet, everything I could have ever dreamed of and we had the same music tastes....he's amazing....until.

"Hey Patrick I know who dallon likes" Frank walked up chuckling, wait dallon, my friend I already know who, he likes Brendon and I have no idea how to set them up.

"Oh who?" He smiled,

"Brendon" Patrick groaned and leaned against the wall, I knew it he likes dallon oh god what was I thinking he wouldn't ever like me today is the worse day.

The bell soon ring and we headed to class but I hated everything now.

I went through the day feeling like shit, I should've known no one will ever love me what was I thinking.

Afterschool I walked over to the band area seeing frank and gee all over each other but gee is my friend so I support him dearly.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw Patrick, guess he's friends with them too.

I walked over smiling at him as Frank and gee made out next to us, we looked away and talked to each other.

Everyone filed out and went home I wonder when Patrick goes home. We talked for a bit sitting on one of the benches outside by the room, "So Pete you like anyone by chance?" He asked his arms behind his head,

'Fuck' "I umm kind of, this one guy in my science class" I lied,

"Oh yeah I like someone too, this girl in my forth period" He actually didn't look to sure about that, 'I knew he didn't like me I should've known'

"And I kind of like someone in band" He said, my heart sunk more,

"Oh yeah who?" I asked,

"Can't say" I raised an eyebrow at his words,

"Oh come on you can tell me we're friends, at least tell me the grade" Just so I can know and cry myself to sleep, I'm used to rejection.

"I can't really remember, I think he's- I mean uhhh...yeah I like dudes don't hate me" He sighed,

"I would never don't worry so do I" his eyes lit up at that, maybe he thinks I can get him with dallon,

"Anyways, he's maybe a junior or sophomore I don't know" I think he did know but I shrugged,

"Yeah I like someone in band as well, I think he's a senior or junior" I smiled blushing,

"Oh really, tell me his name"

"No I can't or you'll tell him. I'll tell if you tell, give me the first letter at least" I sighed,

"Only if you give me the letter first" He smiled, I groaned,

"You're difficult"

"I know" He chuckled then my mom arrived, "Alright I'll tell you, P" I said while standing up,

"Awesome" He got up walking off,

"Hey wait a minute we had a deal!" I ran after him, "Tell me the first letter of his name" I saw him try to keep a smile off his face,

"P" He said before walking off and I ran to my moms car....theirs only two people with the first letter 'P' in their name and that's me and him....

Don't worry it gets good, I refuse to give up on this story like I have everything else in my life recently....
