I lay down and play on my phone till Ivy calls.
I get up and answer she says on a cheerful voice "Hey are you ready? Come get me!"
I laugh  "ok ok I'm coming you really need to get a car"
She also laughs, "But why?!? It's fun to bug you!"
I sigh, "Alright, I'm coming." She hangs up.
I walk down and grab my keys, I yell to my sister to tell her I'm heading out.
I drive to Ivy's house and she gets in, "Heyyyyyyy"
I chuckle "Hi,you ready?"
She nods. I drive to the shelter and get out I check us in and walk over to the dog area the barking is unbearable. And a lot of people talking too. The talking is most likely coming from the back area, I walk over to one of the dogs and grab the leash, I'm a summer worker at the shelter so I know everything and can help after school and whatnot. The dog's name is Hopi she is a gold looking husky she is so cute.

"Maybe your sister would like this cute little face" she says as I grab Hopis harness.
  I open Hopis cage and slip on her harness and then I attached her leash. We walk her out the shelter and bring her to the forest trail she barks at a squirrel as she barks I hear
"SQUIRREL!"
I stop and look at Ivy "why did you yell squirrel?"
Hopi barks and it happens with a different word
"BIRD!"
I was facing Ivy her mouth didn't move. Am I going crazy?
"Uh never mind"
We continue the walk and when Hopi barks it happens over and over again. Five minutes later we finish the walk and put her away and call my mom to ask if I can adopt a dog she says
"sure I was going to get one" I hang up.
While leaving I grab the adoption paperwork. I fill it out as well handing the papers to the front lady as I walk out.
"Your gonna adopt her!?"
I nod and start the car. A few weeks later we now have a dog. I'm going to figure out what that math class did to me and why I can hear this dog talk. I already know where to start.
