¡Chapter 2¡
Chapter 2 - Never a dull moment
Since you had no way to tell the time aboard the Nemesis, everything single second went by in a blur. At some point, you had fallen asleep. All of the emotional trauma must have eventually gotten to you.
Your tear enclosed eyes peel open and you're left with the view you had fallen asleep to. Black walls outlines with purple and a bright teal color light shining from Soundwave's computer. As usual, Soundwave was in the exact same spot he was before. You found it odd that he hadn't moved the entire time.
"You don't do much, do you?" You whisper loud enough for him to hear, still curled up against the wall.
The light patters of him typing at his usual keyboard come to a halt and his head turns. You shrink back from his stare, tightly holding onto the earbuds still caged between your fingers. He does his signature perplexed head tilt, completely fixated on the way your eyes gapped at him. Lifting one of his long claws, he points at your face full of scars, not saying one thing. You lift an unsteady hand and run your deathly cold fingertips over the healed skin, lips curling into a frown.
"My scars? I got them when I was fourteen. Beer bottles can be a dangerous thing." You answer simply, letting your hand fall back into your lap.
Seeming somewhat satisfied with your answer, he opens his whole hand and lowers it down in front of you to step on. Your eyes narrow menacingly at his hand, apprehensive and untrusting. His visor lights up with a neon green smiley face to try and sway your mind set of fear. Most people wouldn't change their minds over a single smiley face but you couldn't help but crack a miniature smile at how he was trying to befriend you. You shove your earbuds back into your pocket.
"You're not going to kill me, are you?" You hum, biting the inside of your cheek.
You didn't really expect him to say anything back, and he didn't. He only opened his hand wider, probably getting a tad bit impatient. Heaving out a sigh, you uncurl from the wall and pull yourself onto his hand, making sure not to put pressure on your foot that seemed to be getting worse. His hand, just like Knockout's, was pleasantly warm and inviting. It was a nice change from being freezing all night. You flop down on your side and snuggle into his hand, a soft smile grazing your lips as he stared down at your tiny figure. Your hand held onto your aching foot to dull the pain.
"Question; Designation?" A voice speaks up from his visor, probably not even his own.
"(Y/n) (L/n), but it seems everyone around here likes to call me human or fleshy." You reply with a sarcastic eye roll.
"(Y/n) (L/n)," your voice is spouted out, almost like he enjoyed using it. Of course, it was used with your tone and not his own.
"Do you have you own voice? I bet you would sound like Batman." You giggle to yourself, getting a question mark in return.
"Batman?" He asks with the pitch of your womanly voice.
"He's a super hero made by us humans. He dresses up like a bat and fights crime." You sit back up, still clutching your foot but smiling nonetheless.
He asks no further questions, spinning around towards the exit and proceeds from his room and down the long, dark hallways. He uses his thumb to give you something to hold onto. You embrace his thump and hug it for dear life, hoping you don't fall off of his hand. Just as he walks into a room called the Medical Bay, the other robot from earlier rounds the corner. You know, the one with the high heels.
"Well isn't it Soundwave and his little pet." He sneers at you both, hands on his hips.
Soundwave cages you into the middle of his palm, digits closing in over the top of you so High Heels couldn't suddenly snatch you from him. You look up towards Soundwave's face and give a thankful nod, to which he gives one back. It had only been a short amount of time and a bond was already forming.
"Starscream," he hisses out in Megatron's low voice.
"What brings you to the Medical Bay?" Starscream backs away at the sound of his masters tone, but still glaring at you through Soundwave's fingers.
Soundwave looks down at you through the cage-like cracks, eyeing your hurting foot from behind the glass covering his face. You just glance up at his with a raised eyebrow. Did he care for you in that way? Enough to take you to get your foot checked out?
"Don't tell me you're here for that. If I was in charge of the human, I would have killed it by now." Starscream rolls his optics with a scoff.
"Hey, listen up buddy-boy. You can take your attitude and leave because no one wants to hear you complain. By the way, you should really consider getting different shoes. Those heels make you look washed out." You crinkle your upper lip at him, arms looped over your chest.
Soundwave gives a smiley face towards the second in command and flees into the Medical Bay before Starscream can blow up. As the door closes, you hear High Heels yell out in frustration. Inside the Medical Bay was Knockout and some other guy you hadn't seen before. He was bulky and blue. No other way to describe him.
"Mr. Prissy!" You cheer, clapping your hands when Knockout and Bulky looks your way.
Soundwave reopens his hand and slips you down onto a counter beside Knockout who seemed displeased at your appearance. The big blue one looked like he didn't know what to think of a human being aboard his ship.
"Oh, how wonderful. You're back."
"Yes! How wonderful!" You send a cocky grin his way, wiggling your eyebrows. "How's that radio of yours, Prissy?"
He groans and turns to Soundwave who just watched the scene quietly. You scoot closer to Soundwave, knowing that he wouldn't allow anyone to harm you.
"Why did you bring her here? I have to fix up Breakdown because he was careless." Knockout seethes at the blue one who was apparently called Breakdown.
Breakdown had a bunch of scratches covering his arms and he held his side, some kind of blue liquid pouring from the wound. Was that their blood? If so, you wanted bright blue blood too.
Soundwave points down at your foot that you cradled with your hands. You back away when Knockout comes closer to see what the overall problem was.
"If you keep moving away I can't help you, stupid fleshy." Knockout grumbles.
You take off your shoe that covered your hurting foot and launch it at Knockout's face, hitting him right between the eyes. Soundwave only pats your head with his forefinger, trying to calm down your upset nerves. You only wave him away.
"Don't call me that. I'm more vicious than you take me for. Very, very vicious." You hiss at him, instantly regretting throwing your shoe.
"You better listen to her, Knockout. She is one of the more ruthless type of human." Breakdown warns his friend, sending a smile your way. You shyly send one back.
"Very, very vicious." Soundwave agrees.
"It definitely is never a dull moment with you around." Knockout rubs between his eyes, trying to rub off the smudge mark.

Miko paces around the platform, getting in the way where Jake and Raf were playing video games. Optimus, standing over by Ratchet to didn't lift his optics from his work, watch Miko pace around.
"How do you expect to get her friend back when have no leads on the Decepticons at all?" Ratchet pipes up.
"Something has to come up, old friend. When? I do not know. We will have to wait and see."
