Episode 20: Long Due Confrontation
*Starting Scene*
Yosen has his eyes shut momentarily until turning his head eastward so he can see the unconscious Axis, still having Sano present in front of him. "This matter is already over." He looks at Sano out of the corner of his eyes. "You should be leaving now. There is nothing here for you, correct?" Yosen motions with his head to the region behind Sano. "And that friend of yours has been patiently waiting as well."
Curiosity displays itself as Sano takes a step back via his left foot to stand sideways and promptly depicts Dante, who gives the black-haired teen a sharp wave while joyfully grinning. In conclusion, happiness replaces Sano's curiosity before returning his gaze to Yosen. "Yeah, I'll be going then. Take care, grandad." He shifts his attention away from Yosen and begins to walk into the forest.
Yosen does his best not to let any emotion emanate, gently uttering, "Likewise... My grandson."
Soon after, Sano disappears from Yosen's vision with Dante also leaving a couple of seconds later in the form of a blur thanks to his Accelerator.
Witnessing that, Yosen switches his concentration to those around him amidst saying in a stern voice, "Enough lounging around, everyone! Get back to your practice!" He then points his left hand at a few of them. "You three! Assist me in carrying Axis inside! We must prepare him for the appropriate punishment he deserves!"
Just when the men in orange jumpsuits were about to comply, a man wearing a long-sleeved, light green shirt and dark green pants scoffs pretentiously as he's situated at the temple's entrance where Yosen was sitting earlier. "I think y'all should rethink tha' 'fore ya' forget someone important."
Yosen turns around to confront the green-clothed individual after putting his left hand down. "Oh, yes. I must apologize. You have been waiting for so long to speak with Axis, although as you may have noticed, Axis had a quarrel to deal with and did not come out of it too well. I wish you two could have spoken beforehand or after, however now, there is an issue that will not permit such. Please, forgive us... Uhh..." The elderly man briefly pauses with mild concern. "What was your name again?"
The character is immediately revealed while gesturing his right arm a little, resulting in a quick rattling sound to be generated from it. "I hadn't given it ta' ya', but I'll do it now. The name's Nash." He mischievously smiles with his black eyes reflecting a similar look to a mad man. "Ya' should remember it considerin' it'll be the last name y'all eva' get the pleasure ta' learn." Nash cocks his left eyebrow amidst slanting his head eastward and scoffs again.
Yosen's eyes narrow from discontent as tension builds up. "Be careful. Those words can get a young lad like yourself in trouble. You should refrain from underestimating us when you do not know what we are capable of."
The orange-clothed crowd simultaneously nod, getting into a fighting stance in case Nash were to make a move on Yosen.
Nash lowers his right arm, the metal chains enveloping both arms slowly beginning to unravel, as he slouches forward with his head properly poised to stare dead into Yosen's eyes and maintains the crazed composition he's been demonstrating. "I doubt tha' SO much!" The black-eyed person unexpectedly drops his head prior to drawing both his hands towards his chest and mutters, "Chain Festival." Nash then swings both appendages outward with a profound amount of agility, however, retracts them in less than a second, so no one's really able to see what he did.
Yosen's stunned while numerous screams are heard from the men surrounding him, compelling the elder to direct his sight to them. Once he does that, the brown-eyed man can't help being perplexed after seeing several students profusely bleeding from their necks and thinks, "What speed and accuracy!" He steers his gaze back to Nash, steadily positions both hands onward and places his left foot rearward to widen his stance while partially angled sideways.
Nash's expression switches to one with no compassion. "Ya' sure have a lot of weak guys, huh? Ain't gonna' judge ya' though. We got our share of weak-asses."
The students become riled up due to Nash's statement before letting out a war-cry and commence charging at him.
Urgency promptly plagues Yosen, snapping his head to opposite sides of himself until desperately yelling, "No! It's a trap!"
A malicious grin creeps onto Nash amidst mumbling=, "Chain Festival: Act 2." He throws out his chains again while each man wearing an orange jumpsuit is pierced somehow in the neck or even gets their throat cut off one after another. Then, as a good number of them made their way pass the onslaught, Nash jerks his body around while shouting fiercely, "Act 3!"
Large sums of bloodshed instantly follow as horrid cries resound from the students.
At the same time, Yosen stays put while one of Nash's chains travels right at him. In response, the old fellow snatches the chain via his left hand precisely when the near one-foot sickle blade at its end, connected by a green handle, was about to reach his face. Having done that, Yosen examines the blade with curiosity overflowing and whispers, "This is... What's killing my students...?"
Suddenly, with a fast whip from Nash's left hand, the chain wraps around Yosen's left arm, causing him to release a small gasp. Once that transpires, Nash sets his attention onto Yosen with some irritation showing as almost all of the men in orange jumpsuits are lying dead upon the ground around him and the rest are either writhing in agony or knocked out while containing peculiar bruises on their heads. "Ya' got balls to be touchin' my Kusarigama with ya' worn out hands, ya' geeza'!" He abruptly pulls onto his chain via a strong snap of his hand to his body with so much force that Yosen's lifted off the terrain and is sent flying towards Nash. Right after, the chain-wielding guy throws out his right hand towards Yosen with the intent of stabbing him via the sickle on his other chain as the elderly individual continued to soar in the air.
Right when the attack was about to hit its target, Yosen hastily reacts by catching the oncoming sickle's chain with his other hand, lands his feet on the ground a couple of meters from his adversary and gives Nash a stern glare. "It will take far more than that to be rid of me!" The tanned male then pulls onto both chains to force Nash to get closer, and after succeeding, implements a plethora of concentrated punches aimed at either Nash's head or abdomen.
Nash weaves his upper body and evades the barrage until firmly stepping towards Yosen via his right foot. As a result, the black-haired man's now situated only a few inches from Yosen and remarks in a taunting tone, "Ya' say tha', but I just don't buy it." He promptly throws a left uppercut at Yosen's chin.
Yosen bends backwards to dodge Nash's fist. Unfortunately, without seeing it coming, a small, cylinder-shaped, iron weight connected at the other end of his left chain hits Yosen's jaw. The elder then grimaces in agony, and after commencing to fall backwards, stumbles to the right that way he doesn't fall down entirely.
Nash takes advantage of Yosen's precarious position, steers the old man towards him while rapidly catching both handles of his Kusarigama, and at a close range, attempts to land a strike upon Yosen's torso from its left sector via his right chain sickle.
Yosen unexpectedly vanishes to elude contact as he's no longer in either chains' hold, compelling the left weapon to drop towards the earth while the other caught nothing but air before collapsing onto the landscape.
Nash can't restrain his astonishment, softly uttering, "Huh. Ya' sure are a fast one for ya' age."
Abruptly, Yosen shows himself towards Nash's left with seriousness brimming, standing in a sideways stance, and launches a right-handed punch towards the foe's left temporal area. "Thank you! Now, allow me to demonstrate to you my strength! The strength of the one who once was the Son Goku Clan's head!"
Nash glances at Yosen out of the corner of his eyes. an emotionless demeanor surfacing. "Maybe some otha' time, geeza'."
Before any rebuttal can be issued, Yosen haphazardly feels a sharp pain rock his body, forcing him to cease his assault's advancement only a centimeter from Nash's head. Following that, the older character hastily deviates his concentration down, depicting through widened eyes that the left chain sickle has cut into where the elderly person's western pancreas is stationed after a snap of Nash's wrist was made. This leaves a heavy wound on Yosen as blood gradually pours out and drips down the enemy's embedded weapon.
Right after, Nash confronts Yosen amidst inquiring while deeply staring into his opponent's eyes, "Any last words?"
Yosen stays quiet until grinning. "Looks like my time in this world has come to an end... However, I know everything will be alright..."
Nash's eyes narrow upon retracting his left arm to his side without removing the left chain sickle from Yosen's torso as a hint of disgust overwhelms him. "Wha' makes ya' say tha'?"
Faint tears form underneath his eyes. "Because, even though we were not a great family to him, Sano will continue our teachings... Whether he wishes to be the clan's leader or not..."
Nash seems slightly aggravated and thinks, "Those are words only weak-asses spew out when they kno' they're gonna' die..." He shifts his attention away via aiming his head eastward prior to questioning in a dull voice, "Why don't ya' look down then?"
Confusion rapidly aches at Yosen, bringing his gaze down only a split second before the right chain sickle that was pinned down by Nash's right foot without the tan-skinned person noticing until now shoots up the moment it's released. This is thanks to all of the pressure having been applied by the tool's owner pulling it with his right hand, ultimately making the elderly man's vision blackout on impact.
*Scene Change*
Within the forest, Sano casually walks with Dante to his right, already having passed the golden-eyed gentleman's camp since the blonde had successfully convinced Sano into accompanying him to the village despite the fellow's relationship involving its citizens. Following that, the tanned teen halts his progression through the forest and turns his head westward to look behind himself with a somewhat spaced out expression.
After taking a couple of steps ahead of Sano, Dante also stops while setting his focus onto the black-haired individual via cocking his head to the left with his person facing away. "Is there something you wanna' say?"
Sano continues to stare off before driving his concentration to Dante and smirks. "I just had this weird feeling, but I can't really explain what it is."
Dante doesn't utter a word until switching his gaze to the area in front of him. "Well, we're almost at the village. We can ponder over that feeling of yours with the others."
Realization overtakes Sano. "Now that you mention it, there was something I wanted to ask you."
Dante grows silent with a moderately cold demeanor.
Not receiving a response, Sano maneuvers to Dante's left, concern arising. "Dante? What's wrong?"
Unexpectedly, a feminine cry is heard in the distance as Sano frantically veers his attention towards the region Dante's currently observing. "That came from the village!" He then dashes forth to investigate what happened.
Simultaneously, Dante reaches behind himself via both hands to pull out his gloves, ultimately putting them on while an excited grin appears. "It's about time." The green-eyed lad begins walking with both arms lowered to his sides.
Not much later, Sano and Dante make their way into the village as there is no one in sight at first. Because of that, they decide to cautiously advance further into Wukong Village, analyzing the area. While the duo steadily travel along, it's noted that some destruction had been dealt to a handful of the houses and convenient stores, the one Sano recently stole from included. Soon enough, after walking down a street leading all the way into the North area of Wukong Village, the two of them fortunately find Ilya, Yuki and Trace. Sadly, the trio aren't alone as a large group of different oriented men, wearing dark brown clothing, stand twenty meters away. In addition to them, many civilians are being held hostage by the group since they weren't quick enough in escaping like a lot of the others managed.
Witnessing that, Dante gradually walks up from behind his three friends, calmly questioning, "Somebody mind explaining?"
Ilya, Yuki and Trace immediately snap their head towards Dante with surprise radiating. "Dante!"
After that, Ilya answers Dante in a stressed out manner. "It's Enshin's Disciples! They're here!"
Then, without warning, Sano rushes between Trace and Yuki, who are standing side by side. After doing that, the jacketed character situates himself at the center of the open space that has been left by both sides amidst angrily shouting, "Let them go!"
Some of the civilians glance at Sano with disbelief in their eyes, unable to understand why he's here. In the meantime, the brown-clothed males laugh as if Sano's statement was a joke.
Frustrated, Sano grabs a hold of Ruyi Jingu Bang via his right hand, removing it from his lower back as he swiftly aims one of its ends at the crowd after entering his usual fighting stance with both hands gripping the staff. "I'll warn you again! Let them go or I'll make you all experience death in the worst way imaginable!"
The immense group keep on laughing without comprehending what they are getting themselves into, however, instantly cease for some reason.
In conclusion, Dante and company become a bit confused until a muscular, white-haired man with a lock of hair spiked up journeys through the crowd while wearing a black, tieless suit.
Yuki's eyes quickly widen out of shock prior to her pointing her right index finger at the suited person. "It's you! The man from the casino!"
Immediately, Berk is the one demonstrated poised in front of the mob wearing brown while commenting via a somber voice, "Indeed, young lady. It's nice to see you again... Though, the circumstances aren't too favorable. " He lets out a short laugh. "Who could've guessed you were Princess Yuki. Had I known when we met, you wouldn't have left there out of your own free-will that day."
Yuki tenses up without deviating her vision from Berk.
Ilya, located to Yuki's right, gawks at the pink-haired girl with bewilderment brimming. "You know him, Yuki?!"
Dante replies for Yuki as he nonchalantly stations himself towards Ilya's right. "Obviously. Weren't you listening when she yelled IT'S YOU? Not just that, all the things he said makes it safe to assume they're acquainted."
An irritated scowl promptly etches onto Ilya after viewing Dante out of the corner of her eyes with a light groan escaping her lips.
Berk chuckles, gazing towards Dante. "You're pretty relax in a situation like this."
Dante brings his attention to Berk, contentedly smiling. "That's because you guys aren't here to hurt this village's people. You're actually here for me."
Berk sharply nods. "For the most part, but mainly revenge. There were several guys you made boss lose faith in. That was a mistake."
The collection of men all yell in unison before abruptly releasing their hold on the hostages and start charging forward.
Panic envelopes Yuki as she takes a step back. "What do we do?!"
Dante maintains his conduct. "Simple. We fight."
In accordance with Dante's declaration, Sano gives off a quick war-cry just when Enshin's Disciples are within range. Soon after, the teenager commences swinging his staff at every oncoming opponent with impressive precision on their weak points and knocks out each one while performing elegant spins.
Dante can't help chuckling, enjoying the sight of Sano's method of combat. "Very nice."
Ilya interjects herself into Dante's concentration and talks in a concern tone. "How are we supposed to fight?! You sealed our magic away!"
Dante restrains himself from laughing at Ilya's demeanor. "No problem. The seals have already dissolved." He alters his focus to Yuki with an apologetic smirk. "Except yours, Yuki. Considering your magic's much weaker than the other two in your present state, the seal I put on you will take a TINY bit longer. My bad."
Yuki's filled by horror prior to exclaiming towards Dante with her right hand planted over the middle of her chest, "Then what am I going to do?!"
Dante mentally contemplates Yuki's inquiry for a second amidst looking away from her until making eye contact with the princess while lackadaisically asking, "Run?"
Yuki's profoundly awestruck, pulling back a little in the process.
A moment later, quite a bit of the men dressed in brown run pass Sano to head straight for Dante and the others. This immediately initiates their battle as Yuki desperately avoids contact with any member of Enshin's Disciples until she can feel her magic return to her.
At the same time, Ilya summons her golden staff in both hands, solidifying the fact that she can access her magic again, while the two golden rings steadily rotate around its light blue gem. As a result, the objects manage to block the first curled fist directed at the beauty, pushing her backwards due to some fierce strength mounted into the attack, and shows an exasperated look amidst uttering, "These guys are about the same class as those guys we fought when we first met, Dante! They're probably just a bunch of muscle-heads as well!"
Dante becomes a blur as he lands several kicks onto a few enemies' abdomen, forcing them to fall to their knees, amidst standing five meters behind the man Ilya's dealing with and gives the white-haired teen a bland expression. "Then, there's no problem. You should be able to take on a whole army with their level of strength, right?"
Ilya blocks another strike from the Enshin Disciple member with agitation presenting itself. "Are you crazy?! I could possibly take on a DOZEN of them, but not an ARMY!" She hurriedly ducks to evade a third punch and harshly plants the gem side of her staff into the foe's gut before passionately shouting, "Burst!" A golden blast expels from Ilya's staff as the male cries out in agony, his body bent rearward until collapsing his back upon the dirt-covered ground.
Trace steers his gaze to Ilya from almost the left side of the road, which is towards the opposite section the accessory-endowed girl, thanks to fighting a handful of adversaries located there and thinks, "That magic... It's sort of like my electricity, but-" The gentleman's thoughts are interrupted by a wild attack, however, eluded it with minimal effort while thrusting his currently electrified right hand onto the culprit's face. "Buster Shock!"
That sends the man in brown flying towards Berk, who unexpectedly catches him via the extension of his right arm, prior to kindly resting the unconscious individual on the landscape next to him. Afterwards, the fellow straightens his posture to view ahead of himself and is promptly confronting Dante as a mere meter separates them.
Dante grins at Berk. "Hi."
While that transpired, the others grow slightly dumbfounded amidst shifting their focus to Dante, although have to continue dealing with Enshin's Disciples.
Berk returns the gesture to Dante. "Hello. You and your friends are fairing real well against the Grunt Brigade."
Dante restrains himself from laughing. "You have some interesting names for your guys. First Burn Troop and now Grunt Brigade."
Berk vaguely slants his head westward. "Our boss does the naming. I like them, anyhow."
Dante cheerfully smiles. "Ditto." The blonde's eyes intensify with a determined personality overflowing. "Speaking of which, where is he?"
Berk fixes his head's posture. "Waiting for you, of course." The white-haired person motions his head to the left and back. "There's a clearing that way. He's really anxious to meet you."
Excitement joins Dante's behavior. "Same here." His body then blurs before vanishing from in front of Berk.
Trace barely witnesses that happen after shocking a Grunt Brigade member, who recently tried an attack, via a left-handed thrust onto the opponent's abdomen as annoyance takes shape on the Spellcaster. "Why am I not surprised?! He's gone again!"
Ilya's voice echoes out of nowhere. "Burst Stream!"
Trace veers his attention to Ilya with his left hand lowered, multiple golden blasts instantly being generated in the form of pillars and consume several enemies.
Afterwards, Ilya solemnly directs her vision to Trace. "I'm going after him!"
Trace's abruptly baffled. "Huh?!"
Yuki keeps running around to avert contact with many Grunt Brigade personnel, displaying urgency during that. "Me too!" She's suddenly cut off by a foe, causing her to let out a startled shriek.
Ilya shakes her head. "No, you stay!" The dame looks at all three of her fighting partners. "I'll bring him back for sure!" Ilya turns her head towards Berk's location as she commences dashing forward.
As Ilya passes Sano, who just hit a disciple on the jaw by swinging his staff upward via both hands holding Ruyi Jingu Bang, the lad switches his focus towards Ilya while confidently saying, "Go straight all the way and you'll find him! I saw his trajectory before he disappeared!"
Ilya nods at Sano with gratitude. "Thanks!" She reverts her gaze forward and thinks, "I kind of figured. I'm finally getting the hang of how he moves." The beauty persists her advancement, crossing paths with Berk while receiving no interference, and soon departs from everyone's sight.
Trace becomes confused by Berk's lack of resistance concerning Ilya going, thinking, "That's strange... What could he be up to?"
Sano unexpectedly shouts, "Watch out!"
Trace's visible eye widens while two Grunt Brigade members charge at the purple-haired character from behind and reacts via swiftly lifting both hands onward until throwing them backwards to land dual electrified elbows onto their gut. Following that, electricity courses through the pair amidst screaming in agony and fall to the terrain shortly.
Sano smirks. "You got good perception like me."
Trace glares at Sano with his stance contorted forth, both hands resting on his knees for leverage. "Yeah... But I got to concentrate or I could get screwed when distracted."
Sano chuckles prior to easily administering a reverse kick on a guy attempting the same thing his comrades had with Trace as the golden-eyed teenager didn't even pay attention to the brown-clothed male. "I don't."
A scowl surfaces on Trace, straightens his composition and fiercely responds. "Shut up! Don't go boasting, Monkey-boy!"
Sano closes his eyes until driving his vision upon the numerous enemies. "Anyway, you oughta' go too."
Trace's bewildered as he steps towards Sano a tad. "What?! But-!"
Sano interrupts Trace after grinning out of amusement. "Don't worry. I can handle this. It's my home, after all."
Suspicion overcomes Trace. "Even though they treated you like shit? You're really THAT willing to protect them?"
Sano honestly smiles. "I'm not the type to bear many grudges at once. Too much effort."
Before Trace could let out a rebuttal, the aqua-eyed fellow hears Yuki screaming amidst hastily navigating his gaze to witness the princess being chased by a dozen Grunt Brigade members with panic brimming. This worries Trace prior to returning his attention towards Sano and attempts to speak.
Sano delivers an assuring demeanor, declaring without needing to listen to Trace's dilemma, "I'll also watch out for her. I swear."
Trace simply stares at Sano with seriousness radiating until another set of Enshin's Disciples rush the two young men, even though they are quite far apart from each other, while releasing valiant battle-cries. This compels the purple-haired guy to rest his sights on them as fury arises. "These annoying-!"
Sano cuts Trace off by planting Ruyi Jingu Bang onto the ground, catapults himself forward into the air and lands a simultaneous kick on two of the Grunt Brigade members via one leg for each as they were on opposite sides of him. Right after, with lack of effort, the jacketed individual does a drop-kick on the third charging straight towards Sano. Because of that, all three promptly fall at the same time Sano lands on his feet like usual as he turns his head westward so he can lock eyes with Trace while emanating confidence. "Quit wasting time! Go already!"
Trace reluctantly nods since he was not entirely sure if it is for the best that he leaves with so many enemies around, but takes Sano's attitude as sufficient reassurance and sprints onward. Eventually, the Caucasian reaches Berk's right while the two trade glances as Trace thinks with a criticizing expression deployed in that moment, "Why is it... That he doesn't care to stop me too?" He diverts his concentration ahead again to observe where he is going amidst thinking, "Something just doesn't feel right."
With Trace gone, Sano faces approximately thirty Enshin's Disciples, compliments of them surrounding him while he was not paying much attention, and determinedly smirks. "You dudes sure have some bad luck." The teen draws his staff upward to his east side and rapidly twirls it via his right appendage. "At the end, y'all be wishing I'll kill you."
A Grunt Brigade member retorts with tenacity in his voice. "Yeah, right! If we fail, boss himself will croak us!" His comrades hurriedly shout in agreement before he continues talking, pointing his left index finger at Sano. "We're gonna' slaughter you and your friends!"
Sano's astonished as he thinks, "Friends?" The tanned boy slowly grins out of joy, muttering with his eyes depicting the earth at his feet, "I like that." Sano abruptly establishes his gaze back on the Grunt Brigade, regaining his previous conduct. "How about you put your money where your mouth is and start with me then?!"
The Grunt Brigade encompassing Sano tense up, an eerie sensation overwhelming them. Not long after, they gather their courage because of remembering that possessing fear would be considered a weakness by Enshin and his top disciples, which wouldn't guarantee their survival, as they all charge Sano at once.
Sano finally ceases the rotation of Ruyi Jingu Bang, aims one end at the men ahead of him with malicious intent portrayed and chuckles.
During that, Yuki grows tired of repeatedly evading the twelve Enshin's Disciples, wielding no choice but to halt her progression while trying to catch her breath via a bent posture. Concurrently, the chick's back is pointed towards the men dressed in brown as she is visibly annoyed. "I'm so... Exhausted! A princess like... Myself shouldn't be... Left in such a weary state!"
The Grunt Brigade personnel loudly yell as they close the distance between them and Yuki with their body modified by the Strengthening Spell.
Yuki shuts her eyes after briefly scared by the Enshin's Disciples and then angrily shouts with both hands clenched, "Come back already, my magic!" At the pink-haired girl's outburst, her Ice Wand forms within her right hand's grasp, compelling Yuki to hastily open her eyes to focus onto it, and gleefully shouts, "Thank you!"
In a blinding, blue aura, the oncoming disciples are immediately met with countless, flying, small ice shards that stab all of them while horrid cries resonate.
Afterwards, Yuki's displayed with her wand directed towards the foes' vicinity via both hands on it as she's facing the Grunt Brigade. She promptly watches the dozen men collapse while writhing in pain since she didn't just bluntly kill them and confidently asks, "How did you guys like my Frozen Shard?!" She mildly laughs. "Hmph! Serves you guys for making me run so much!"
Berk smiles before starting to clap at what he recently saw from Yuki. "It's nice to know you can hold your own a little, Princess Yuki."
Yuki simply snaps her gaze to Berk, compliments of him having remained in her peripheral vision. Following that, the teen emits a cautious behavior and is now pointing her wand at the buzz-haired man. "Why is that? Do you intend on fighting me, sir?"
Berk nods with dullness adding into his hazel/green eyes after hanging both hands to opposite sides of his person upon detaining his clapping seconds earlier. "Yes, and it'd be better if you refer me by Berk. There's no need to show respect to your enemy, especially one who's a part of a gang of thugs that attacked you and your father."
Yuki comments in an agitated tone without removing her Ice Wand's aim from Berk, "Don't forget they killed those who fought to protect us and even our servants!"
Berk nods again until shifting his attention away to view his left. "How could I? I know very well what our guys do, but it's done for Lord Enshin." His eyes reset onto Yuki with a piercing stare. "That man... I believe he'll change this world one day and deserves a fitting throne to do it from."
Yuki becomes upset. "So you kill innocent people just for that?!"
Berk steadily closes his eyes. "Practically." The dark-skinned male reopens his eyes to examine Yuki's body. "Also, we heard the king had a cute daughter who the boss most likely would be interested in, although that may not be too true since he's fond of women with large breasts." He rests his concentration on Yuki's face. "Like that white-haired one who went after the blonde guy... Dante, wasn't it?"
Yuki's right eye twitches, lowers her wand a tad and thinks, "Well, my other self's are bigger than Miss Know-It-All's, so..." The blue-eyed beauty suddenly realizes something prior to frantically shaking her head with her eyes shut. Once she stops doing that, Yuki focuses on the ground while thinking, "Why am I worried about this?!" She brings her sight back to Berk amidst establishing the Ice Wand's aim upon him once more and exclaims in frustration, "You all are nothing but a bunch of perverts!"
Berk chuckles, ultimately delivering a shrug. "I can't disagree with you too much. Lord Enshin attracts those kind of guys. I think there's only a handful, including myself, who aren't as extreme as a lot of them." The individual gestures his left hand to point over his shoulder and behind himself via his thumb. "The king of them is actually in that direction and so is a really dangerous guy. That's why I decided not to get in the way of those two who left."
Yuki raises her left eyebrow out of confusion.
Then, Berk grows serious while putting his left hand down. "In your case though, Princess Yuki, you'll be dealing with me. This is the perfect opportunity to make up for my fellow disciples' failure and capture you. So get ready."
Yuki tenses up with her eyes widening as she faintly trembles, feeling immense pressure from Berk.
*Scene Change*
Ilya urgently runs within the forest's confines, carrying her staff near her chest. "I'm definitely bringing him back and giving him another stern talking! I'm not quitting until he learns not to leave us like that anymore! Especially when he said that he'll always stick by us!" The young lady abruptly feels a radiance of magic from her right, and in fear of being assaulted, halted her progress via a skid while confronting the direction she sensed it. Ilya's then surprised to discern that the magic's no longer where she thought and hurriedly swings herself around. At that very instance, a velvet/green, plant-like whip extends towards Ilya as it wraps around her golden staff and tries to strip the chick of it with shock plaguing her. "What is this?!"
Garret, in his velvet suit, gradually walks towards Ilya from twelve meters away with the whip's handle held by his right hand and reels it in via his other hand, menacingly smirking throughout. "It seems I, the marvelous Garret of Enshin's Disciples, caught another beautiful dame with my whip of love." The greenish/brown-eyed person snickers.
Ilya maintains her grip on her staff, however, her expression becomes empty while gawking at Garret and reluctantly asks, "Did you... Seriously... Just say that?"
Garret torques his head around to avoid any of his pink hair to get in the way of his vision amidst rebutting through what he would believe is a smooth manner, "Of course. My whip tracks down all gorgeous specimen that need to be ravished by my good looks and great strength." He smiles at Ilya with a tooth sparkling as if to support his effort in charming her.
Ilya drops her head with her bangs shadowing her face as anger surges. "You just called me a specimen, didn't you...?!" She rapidly throws her head rearward, screaming out of rage, "WHAT THE HELL AM I TO YOU DAMN ENSHIN'S DISCIPLES?!"
Garret answers, retaining his composition and has both hands on his whip to not release Ilya. "You're a stunning dame I wish to sweep off her feet and give her endless ecstasy."
A scowl immediately appears upon Ilya before bringing her head down enough to lock a death stare onto Garret, stoically uttering, "Burst Explosion." The girl's abruptly engulfed by a golden outline and promptly expels a huge blast that obliterates several, nearby trees within mere seconds.
Garret's baffled as the blast consumes him due to it expanding to a fifteen meter radius.
Simultaneously, Trace was closing in where Ilya and Garret are presently located until witnessing the golden explosion. This causes the individual to become surprised amidst ceasing his movement, muttering, "That must be Ilya." A serious look takes shape on Trace. "A disciple must have gotten in her way of following Dante. Probably the reason why that big guy didn't stop us. I bet there's another one somewhere along the way for me to fight too." He scans the surroundings prior to specifically gazing at his right. "I think it'll be best if I try going in a different angle in that case. Plus, I won't get caught up in Ilya's fight." Trace turns to the direction he's focused on and then resumes running.
While that transpires, far passed where Ilya's stationed, Dante eventually arrives at a grassy clearing with the trees poised thirty meters from its center. It is there the young man had decided to halt his progression after walking for most of his trip through the forest to preserve his energy. Following that, Dante casually peers to his right and makes eye contact with Loki, who's facing the blonde at a small range as he possesses both hands in his pockets.
Silence drowns the two male's meeting for a few seconds until Loki cheerfully announces upon shutting his eyes, "I'm not Lord Enshin, you know!"
Dante grins with amusement surfacing. "I know. He's in the next clearing, right?"
Loki sharply nods. "Yeah! This one here is for me!" He opens his eyes and says in a somewhat apologetic tone, "Sorry about that."
Dante chuckles, veering his attention away from Loki to set his sights on the region in front of him. "It's no problem." The Caucasian calmly starts walking, thinking after gaining a decent amount of distance from Loki, "That's interesting. I didn't expect someone like him to be here." Dante controls the urge to laugh and softly remarks to himself, "Trace might get a kick out of this or freak out. Who knows?"
Just when Dante finished that thought amidst entering the section of the forest on the clearing's opposing side, Loki shifted his concentration from the human to his left. Once that's accomplished, the turquoise-haired fellow's eyes meet with Trace's visible eye as both are astonished prior to Loki shouting in a content voice while standing sideways, "Trace!"
Trace can't utter a word, situated not too far from the forest behind him, as he thinks in a panic, "Shit! Why the hell is HE here?!"
Concern swiftly takes hold of Loki and cocks his head westward while confronting Trace in his entirety. "What's wrong? Aren't you happy to see your dear little brother?" The clear-eyed character sinisterly smirks after scoffing at his own words. "What kind of brother are you?"
*Scene Change*
Enshin currently lies on the other side of a similar terrain to the one Loki's located, however, quite bigger. He contains both hands behind his head with his left leg mounted atop of his right knee while slightly gyrating it and nonchalantly watches the barely clouded sky. Not much afterwards, Enshin yawns with his right eye briefly shut before opening it again and mumbles, "This is super boring. What's taking so long? They know I hate waiting too much." The spiky-haired individual faintly groans. "I should have brought a couple of chicks to bang. Killed some time that way at the very least."
Dante promptly emerges out of the forest while registering Enshin vertically lying ahead of him. With the the two of them forty meters apart from the other, the green-eyed person emanates a bit of happiness and excitedly yells via both hands positioned around his mouth while closing his eyes, "Hey! You're Enshin! I'm finally here!"
Enshin draws his attention onto Dante prior to grinning amidst loudly responding. "Good!" He curls both legs towards himself, and with the impulse of his hands that appear to be wearing something black, jumps to his feet. "I was literally starting to wonder where you were!"
Dante lowers both hands as he temporarily laughs. "I kinda' figured!" The blonde checks out the space around them. "Man, this is gigantic! It's a lot like the mountain top that Yuki's castle is on! Just without the castle!" He then adds in a murmur, "And the snow..." Dante places his gaze back upon Enshin while shouting so Enshin can hear him, "Much better than where Loki's gonna' fight Trace!"
Enshin begins advancing towards Dante while his expression hurriedly grows cold, reacting to the lad's declaration as both of his arms hang to opposite sides. "I doubt you had enough time for Loki to give you his name! So, you're him, huh?!"
Dante waits for Enshin to narrow the distance more before answering, and once that's achieved, the green-eyed gentleman asks while trying to play dumb, "Who am I, exactly?"
Enshin's momentarily quiet until giving Dante a firm glare as soon as the two are about ten meters from each other. "Don't be a smart-ass. I know fully well you can hear my thoughts and know what I know. Don't mess with someone like me, Dante. You'll highly regret it in the end."
Dante plants both hands on his waist, chuckling. "I can now since you just got into my range. Either way, you still said my name."
Enshin sighs with his eyes shut, folding both arms together in the process. "I sure did." He slowly looks at Dante in a stoic manner. "You're Dante Einsburn. Apparently, you and I have both been chosen to wield that forbidden power." Enshin separates his arms from each other, presents them in front of himself in a vertical angle and reveals that both hands are wearing a black glove. After closer examination, it can be seen that they're very much like Dante's Sealing Glove, although instead of having the red letter "D", the left glove has the number "6" in red as the other has the number "5" via the same color.
Dante's body commences to shake out of joy, his sight glued onto the two gloves Enshin's wearing. "There they are! You really do have them! The Twin Sealing Gloves: Pitch Black!"
Enshin drops his hands to their corresponding sectors, both Sealing Gloves brightly shining dark colors. "So, you have heard of them. Not only that, you already suspected I had them."
Dante portrays a carefree demeanor, having steered himself eastward while no longer attentive of Enshin's person, and interlocks both hands behind his back. "Yup. It wasn't hard at all to figure out that you had the # 5 and # 6 gloves." The Caucasian returns his concentration to Enshin without changing his stance. "Of course, it's possible you could wield merely one of them, but the owner's capabilities when possessing the pair is beyond anything that can be simply described."
Enshin's personality doesn't alter, maintaining his vision on Dante. "Lucky for you, describing it won't be the challenge. It's you surviving." Darkness unexpectedly expands from behind Enshin while hurriedly covering the vicinity and travels towards Dante in an alarming rate. "And to clarify, I don't call them by that old name of theirs. That's considering I didn't know what they were called at the time I felt like giving them a name. They're Eclipse now. It's how everything seemed to me when I got them."
Meanwhile, Dante's Sealing Glove emits a powerful crimson glow amidst remaining at the young man's backside and earnestly comments, "Sounds like a whole lot of fun! Both Eclipse and the challenge! I'll definitely take them down!"
