Students, including Galindo, (Name), and Fiyero, all dressed for a night in town, moved stealthily through the quad. Galindo and (Name) held hands as they ran together.

All of them hurried into the water's edge and piled into the waiting boats.

Elphaba hesitated at first, but then knocked on Madame Morrible's door.

The head shiztress opened the door, in her sleep wear, and surprised to see her prized student.

"Sorry to disturb you, Madame Morrible." Elphaba apologized. "But I have a favor to ask."

Galindo placed a (favorite color) flower in (Name)'s hair, making her smile at him. Galindo smiled in return and kissed her knuckles.

Suddenly, Nessa and Boq rushed over, laughing as they zoomed through the quad.

Nessa gasped when she saw her best friend. "(Name)!" She called, waving her hand excitedly.

The (hair color) girl gasped when she heard Nessa's voice. She waved to her with just as much excitement. "Nessa! Get over here!"

While Boq and Nessa got on the boat, Galindo held out his hand to (Name), offering to help her get in the boat so she wouldn't trip on her heels.

(Name) smiled and took his hand, and Galindo helped her get inside

He took a seat and then gently grabbed her waist and positioned her on his lap, holding onto her waist protectively so she wouldn't fall off.

(Name) blushed at first, but she quickly got comfortable. Crossing her legs and wrapping one arm around Galindo's neck to steady herself.

The two smiled at each other as the boat took off.

The Ozdust Ballroom was beautiful and vibrant, and looked like it was underwater in the ocean.

A swinging band of animals made music, and Fiyero ran into the middle of the dance floor and began to dance, everyone else copying his moves.

Galindo pulled (Name) into the dance floor and the two danced together.

Galindo twirled (Name) under his arm and dipped her down, making the (hair color) girl laugh, looking overjoyed.

Galindo brought (Name) back up and the two continued dancing together.

"Hey, Galindo? I just want to say, I'm really sorry." (Name) stated.

"For what?" Galindo asked with a head tilt.

"For how I treated you when we first met." (Name) clarified, looking ashamed of herself.

"I was so rude to you, and I'm really sorry. It's just...people have been judging Elphaba ever since we were kids, and I—"

"Hey, hey." Galindo cupped her cheek, making (Name) look up at him. "You did nothing wrong. Besides, I've been in love with you ever since the moment I laid eyes on you." He confessed.

(Name) smirked. "Yeah, I've kind always known."

"Really?!" Galindo gasped.

"It was kind of obvious." (Name) chuckled. "At first, I really didn't feel the same way. But now..."

(Name) wrapped her arms around Galindo's neck, the blond smirked and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling the (hair color) girl close to his chest.

Meanwhile, Boq gulped down his glass as he watched (Name) and Galindo. It hurts. He feels like a fraud, he had to come clean.

"Listen, Nessa?" Boq turned to Nessa.

The brunette looked at him. "Yes?"

"Uh, Nessa I've got something to confess, a reason why, well,"

"Why I asked you here tonight.

"And I know it isn't fair—"

"Oh, Boq, I know why." Nessa admitted.

"You do?" Boq looked at her in shock.

"It's because I'm in this chair. And you felt sorry for me."

"Well, isn't that right?" Nessa asked sadly.

"No! No! I don't feel sorry for you!" Boq attested. "I asked you because..."

Boq looked back over to (Name), and his heart dropped.

(Name) and Galindo were sharing a deep and passionate kiss, their arms wrapped around each other lovingly.

"Because..." Boq looked from the girl he was in love with to Nessa. An idea came to mind.

"Because you are so beautiful!"

Boq sat up and gave Nessa a genuine smile.

"Oh, Boq!" Nessa gushed, she rolled closer to the hum.

"I think you're wonderful!"

"And we deserve each other."
"Don't you see, this is our chance!"

Boq looked back over to (Name), and saw she and Galindo had broken up their kiss.

(Name) and Galindo touched foreheads before looking at each other with big smiles on their faces. (Name) giggled and pulled Galindo to the middle of the dance floor, making him laugh.

"We deserve each other."
"Don't we, Boq?"

Boq smirked. "You know what?"

"Let's dance!"

"What?" Nessa laughed.

"Let's daaaaance!"

Boq took Nessa's hands and rolled her over to the dance floor, and they danced!

It's exuberant and joyous, and Nessa was having the time of her life.

Meanwhile, Galindo continued twirling (Name) around and dipping her down. Both of them looked ever so in love with each other.

Galindo and (Name) touched foreheads and leaned in for another kiss until—

"You."

Galindo and (Name) whipped their heads around and saw Madame Morrible.

Galindo was frozen with fear, holding (Name) closer.

"Me?" He asked.

Madame Morrible nodded. "And you." She turned to (Name), making her squeeze Galindo's hand.

Galindo let out a sigh of relief knowing he wouldn't be alone in talking with his idol, and stepped towards Madame Morrible, not letting go of (Name)'s hand.

"Madame Morrible, you are—no, seriously! I admire you so, sooo-"

"Enough." Madame Morrible interrupted, making Galindo shut his mouth. (Name) narrowed her eyes at the head shiztress.

Madame Morrible reached into her cape, and pulled out a wand.

Galindo gasped, he let go of (Name)'s hand and grabbed the wand. "A magic wand?"

"It's a training wand." Madame Morrible corrected, she then pulled out an another one.

"I also have one for you." She handed it to (Name), making her gasp.

"Oh, Madame, how can we express our gratitude?" (Name) beamed.

"Yes! It is my heart's desire to become a sorcerer!" Galindo expressed. "Thank you...for having faith in me!"

He grabbed (Name)'s hand. "In us!"

"Actually, I have no faith in either of you." Madame Morrible clarified.

(Name) and Galindo's smiles dropped.

"This was your roommate's idea, not mine."

Galindo was confused while (Name) beamed.

"Really?" She grinned.

"I'm confused." Galindo admitted.

"Miss Elphaba has requested that I include you two in our sorcery seminar and insisted I tell you this very night, or she will quit." Madame Morrible explained.

"She did?" Galindo asked in shock. "But why?"

"I'm a sorceress, not a mind reader! I have no idea why!" Madame Morrible said annoyingly. "But I can't risk losing her, so here I am."

Galindo looked down while (Name) smiled, feeling extremely grateful.

"My personal opinion, dears, is that neither of you have what it takes. I hope you prove me wrong. I doubt you will." Madame Morrible said coldly.

"You might want to thank her, she's on her way."

Suddenly, Galindo is stone cold sober.

"What?" Galindo and (Name) said together, Galindo sounding terrified while (Name) sounded ecstatic.

"Well, you invited her." Madame Morrible looked around the room. "I need a drink." She said before leaving the couple.

"Oh my oz, I can't thank Elphaba enough for this!" (Name) squealed as she clutched onto the wand.

But she then noticed Galindo's terrified expression on his face.

"Galindo? What's wrong?" She asked.

"I..." Galindo couldn't tell her, he ran off as fast as he could.

"What—Galindo?" (Name) chased after him.

Elphaba appeared at the entranceway, wearing a black dress and a pair of black boots. On top of her head was her pointy hat.

There's a ripple of reactions as others spot her. People snickered and whispered.

Students stopped dancing, stared, and pointed at Elphaba and her hat. Even musicians stopped playing, staring at the green girl in her ridiculous eyesore of a hat.

Elphaba took in the reaction around her as she walked through the dance floor, realizing: she's been tricked.

She stood in the middle of the dance floor, and her eyes met Galindo and (Name)'s.

Galindo looked down while (Name) gave her a sympathetic look, not knowing what to do.

Elphaba yanked off the hat and placed it on the floor, making everyone cheer.

Elphaba stared to leave, but then, she strode angrily to the center of the dance floor.

She closed her eyes and placed her hands on her chest. She placed one hand to her temple and wiggled her fingers while striking a pose.

The Students laughed and mocked her.

Elphaba clicked her heels together and then waved her arms around. She spun around and reached an arm out, making some Students back away.

Elphaba stomped her foot a couple of times then looked at her green hand.

The Students laughed while Nessa looked away.

Elphaba put her hands on her shoulders and began moving them around wildly as she ran around the dance floor.

Galindo watched the green woman sadly, while (Name) watched with a tint of pride.

Elphaba spun around and slammed her hands together. She bent down to her hat and put it back on her head, completely covering her eyes.

"I'll say this much, she doesn't give a twig what anyone thinks." Fiyero whispered to (Name).

"She does. She just pretends not to." (Name) clarified sadly.

Elphaba looked around the room as watched as everyone mocked and laughed at her.

"I can't watch." Nessa whispered to Boq.

Galindo looked down at his wand in shame. "I feel awful."

"Why? It's not like it's your fault." (Name) assured.

Galindo looked at (Name) with guilt and sadness in his brown eyes, and that was enough to tell her.

"You didn't." (Name) hissed in anger.

Galindo just looked down.

"I can't believe you! No, I should've known you'd do this!" (Name) growled. "You're just like everyone else who's bullied Elphaba. I should've never gone to this dance with you."

Galindo's heart sank, he took a deep breath. He grabbed her hands. "(Name)...please, let me fix this."

He handed (Name) his wand and approached Elphaba.

The crowd cheered, thinking Galindo was gonna embarrass her some more.

Elphaba stared at him, Galindo stared back.

Then, he put his hand to the side of his forehead and the other to his hip, wiggling his fingers.

He stepped his foot out and stomped it down, attempting to imitate Elphaba's dance moves.

But the green woman just stared at him coldly.

Galindo looked at all the shocked eyes on him, he glanced at Pfanne and ShenShen, and then to (Name).

(Name) gave him a nod, and that encouraged him to keep going.

Galindo brought his hands up and moved them around, he then twirled over to Pfanne and ShenShen with his hands together in the air, who gave him a judgmental look.

"What are you doing?" Pfanne hissed.

"Stop." ShenShen commanded.

Galindo stared at them for a moment, he put his hands down. "No."

Pfanne and ShenShen backed away from him in disgust.

(Name) smiled proudly at Galindo, she then got an idea.

She handed Fiyero the training wands, then slammed her foot down, making everyone look at her.

She placed a hand on the side of her forehead and another on her hip and wiggled her fingers around. She spun over to the middle of the dance floor, right in front of Elphaba and Galindo.

Galindo smiled at her while Elphaba just stared at her.

Elphaba placed one hand on her chest and another on her stomach. Galindo and (Name) did the exact same thing.

Galindo and (Name) both walked up to Elphaba and each of them took one of her hands.

They raised her hands up, all of them began to wave their hands around. All of them put a hand to the side of their forehead and another to their hip.

The trio put one foot out, then another. They bowed to each other and began waving their arms around.

Elphaba and Galindo brought their arms to each other, Elphaba looked at her green hand as a tears rolled down her cheeks.

Galindo smiled and gently wiped her tears away. "It's okay." He whispered gently.

Elphaba took a deep breath, feeling relaxed knowing she had her friends by side.

Elphaba, Galindo, and (Name) put their hands on their shoulders and began shaking their elbows. The three stood in a circle and began moving around together. A huge grin came on Elphaba's face.

Other students gradually pick up their moves until everyone, including Pfanne and ShenShen, are dancing, Elphaba-style.

Elphaba, (Name), and Galindo all waved their arms around, big smiles on their faces.

Suddenly, Galindo bolted to Elphaba and wrapped his arms around her neck, giving her a tight hug.

Tears filled Elphaba's eyes, and she returned the hug.

(Name) smiled, she let out a choked laugh with tears running down her cheeks. She covered her mouth with her hands, more than overjoyed that Galindo had accepted Elphaba.

Elphaba and Galindo let go of each other and looked around the room, seeing everyone doing the dance.

"Dancing through life here at the Ozdust."
"If only because dust is what we come to!"

(Name) smiled when she saw Fiyero doing the same dance. He smiled in return.

Galindo grinned and took Elphaba and (Name)'s hands, bringing them to the staircase where the ballroom exit was.

"And the strange thing, your life could end up changing!"

At the top of the staircase, (Name) laughed and grabbed Galindo's cheeks and pulled him into a kiss, which he immediately melted into.

After a good few seconds, the couple removed their lips from each other, touching foreheads with their eyes closed.

"I forgive you." (Name) whispered. "Thank you. Thank you so much."

Galindo smiled and hugged (Name), spinning her around, (Name) giggled as her feet were lifted up the ground from the twirl hug he gave her.

Elphaba smiled, more than happy for her best friends.

"While you're dancing..."
"Through!"

The three looked at the ballroom one last time before running off together.
