As I left the room I couldn't get Ethans look out of my head. He looked like he wanted to apologize but what for? Probably for his girlfriend form hell. 

I shake my head trying to get this thought out of my mind... I can't be thinking about him I think about him too much. 

I gathered my things and left for the day. I still have to go to work at the cafe but at least Natalie is also working. 

˝Hiiii girl, how are you˝ Natalie yells at me with enthusiasm.

˝Okay I guess,˝ I say and she gives me her look. Yes, she has her look.

˝what is bothering you? Is your dad being a prick again?˝ She says looking like she is ready to fight someone.

˝ Isn't he always tho? ˝ I laugh but feel the hurt behind it. 

I see some people coming into the cafe and I head up to them to serve them. And then I familiar voice speaks to me.

˝Emily! If this isn't faith!˝ a guy says and I look at him. It is Noah for the park.

˝Oh hi, where is Archie,˝ I say teasingly. And look at the other two guys sitting with him, they are as equally handsome and hot as well as familiar, but from where? They look a little amused at me.

˝Oh the little guy is at his new home,˝ he says a with a little sadness in his voice.

˝Oh that is to bad,˝ I say offering a small smile. ˝What can I get you boys?˝ I say seeing that the manager is looking at me.

˝ I will have a soda, Mason here will have a black coffee and Joshua will have a tea,˝ he says ordering for his friends.

˝ You know Noah we are not children and can actually order for ourselves,˝  Mason sitting next to him says in a mocking voice. And Joshua isn't impressed by any of them. 

˝ Okay I will be right back with your order,˝ I say as I politely leave the table.

When I come back Noah is looking at me like he is about to say something.. ˝Anything else,˝ I ask.

˝ Will you come to the party with me on Saturday?˝ He blurts out... I am take-off guard and the shock expression is evident on my face I am sure.

˝Amm I don't know, not....˝ As I try to save myself.. ˝ it must be faith that we meet each other again, you have to come!˝ he says and I just don't know about this.

˝Okay let say like this we three are going to a party and one other friend and you are welcome to come, you can also bring your friends!˝ he says and I feel a little better about the situation.

˝Okay I will think about it,˝ I say politely but not really sure if I would go.  

˝Okay Em that is good enough for me,˝ he says and winks at me.˝I will text you the details if you chose to come, you have my number.˝ he finishes.

Mason and Joshua both look at him and then at me... I feel the blush on my cheeks. So I excuse myself from the situation as fast as I can. 

˝Well it was nice to meet you,˝ I say looking at Mason and Joshua and they both nod in agreement. 

They leave soon after and I am to occupied with work to really notice. 

˝What was that?˝Natalie says behind me.

˝I was just invited to a party...˝  I say surprised even myself. ˝You have to go!˝ She screams and the managers give us an angry look. 

˝I don't know Natalie... It isn't my scene.˝I start to make excuses. 

˝I don't care I will drag you there myself if I have to,˝ she insists but a little quieter.

˝They did say I can bring a friend...˝ I say thinking about it.

˝So it is settled we are going!˝She is so excited about this. And I am just nervous about it.

After the shift, I go home. I lay down and I am not really tired just yet so I decide to maybe start reading a book now that I got them back. 

I pick up THE HEART IS A LONELY HUNTER by Carson McCullers and open the book and than a paper drops to the floor. I pick it up and it says book report and then the whole book summary. I open my eyes wide in shock. 

It is so well written and with neat writing. I finish reading it and think Ethan?

I pick another book, NATIVE SON by Richard Wright and it has the same note inside. I look tru all other five books and they all have the note inside.

OMG did Ethan do this? I can't believe it. When did he time to read all of them? Maybe he already read it before since he did have all of this books in his room... I was lost for words. 

And why would he do this for me? Was he bored? Did he really want to do something nice?... There are so many questions. But I am feeling a great load of joy as this is the first real step he did to show me he is interested in working with me. 

And this has shown me that he probably likes to read has a talent with his words. That can all be used in future rehabilitation. I am so excited for tomorrow to work with him. I say and start to read all of the reports he wrote.
