and so, i got up from my pussy fit. whatever just happened felt weird and scary. i never want it to happen again.

"no." i said sternly. like it'd help.

i stumbled upstairs again and into my room. i chucked on some trackpants and a dark green jumper, and made my way to the front door, grabbing an ice tea from the fridge on my way out.

"i need some air."

i step outside into the cool night. its nearly 6pm when i start walking towards the park.

i reach the park. its hardly even a park but its got swings so i call it that. i sit my ass on one of the big-kid swings and sip my ice tea.

i really wanna see susie now, but i assume shes asleep or having dinner or somthing. her house is just across from the park and i can see shes got her lights on. i pull out my phone hesitantly to text her, but decide not to. i dont want to bother her..

so i just swing for a while.

susies cliche coincidental P.O.V.

"thanks for dinner.." i say,huggin my mum. im relatively tired, so i decide to get an early night. i wave goodnight to my mum and stumble upstairs.

i reach my room and notice my phone on the bedside table.

i should probably text kris and apologise..

i stare at it, pick it up and start typing.

S : yo,, did u make it home alright?

and i wait a little before a dull grey reply appears on the screen.

K : yeah,, can yu come to the park for a bit?

S : ??

K : susie please

S : yeah sure sure im coming

i immediatley start to worry a little. what couldve happened?
i run downstairs again.

"kris is at the park.. i think something happened." i say sternly to my mum. she gives me a nod and a wink as i pull my jumper on and walk out the door.

the park is just across from my house, so i squint at the small-looking playground equiptment to spot kris. i see her on a swing, pushing herself back and forth.

i run towards her until im standing in front of her. she stares at the ground. i kneel down and look up at her.

she suddenly leaves the swing and wraps her arms around me.

and she cries. wildly. loudly.

"I'M SO SORRY!!.. *hic* I'M SO FUCKING *hic* SORRY!.." she yells, holding me tight. i hold her tighter. i dont know whats going on, but i want to help.

"you didnt do anything wrong, kris. no need to say sorry." i say calmly. she mumbles something that, even though im right next to her, i cant hear.
"what was that?" i ask.

"then what is this? what did i do? why did that happen? i dont.." she trails off and stops crying. i let go of her and she sits cross-legged, staring at the ground.

"just breathe.. what happened? you can tell me."

she shakes her head violently, but then slows down and sighs.

"it was like.. i couldn't breathe. then i was hyperventilating.. then i was just.. scared.. im so scared.. i.." she mumbles. i dont know what to say.

"i-is your mum home?" i ask. she shakes her head. good. i grab her hand.

"well come, theresa can probably help." she looks up at me and i flash her a reassuring smile.

"it'll be okay."
