One summer evening in Seoul, a vibrant city filled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, as the sun was setting in The Jung's family a huge feast was prepared. They were hosting a dinner for their friends The Kim's.

 The house was filled with mouthwatering aromas and the comforting warmth of friendship. Mrs. Jung, a woman with a heart as big as her smile, busied herself in the kitchen while Mr. Jung and Mr. Kim were engaged in a lively conversation about politics.

The elders of the family and were gathered in the living room talking about something important the atmosphere around them was serious.

And the children of their family were playing outside in the backyard when two of them started fighting.

Taehyung- Y/n I should be the leader because I'm older

He insisted crossing his arms. Y/n's lips turned into a angry pout.

Y/n- That's not fair we should take turns being the leader.

Taehyung- But I'm older so I'll be the leader.

Y/n- No you are a fool.

Taehyung- What did you call me you little monkey.

He said gritting his teeth as she glared at him.

Y/n- You Kim Taehyung, I'll kill you. 

She said gripping his hairs tightly in her small fists.

Taehyung- Little monkey leave my hair.

He also held her hair tightly in his hands.

Y/n- Leave my hair first, then I'll do it.

Taehyung- No you do it first.

Jin- Stop fighting you two, leave each other hairs.

He said trying to remove Taehyung's hands, but he didn't budge a bit.

Hoseok- Y/n.

He sternly said her name, but she paid no attention to him.

Hoseok- Fine I'm calling Grandpa then.

As soon as Hoseok said this Taehyung and Y/n immediately left each other hairs.

Y/n- Oppa!! Why do you always do this? Can't you see he started it first.

She said whining as Hoseok approached her and twisted her ears.

Hoseok- You're no less than him, don't try to be over smart.

Taehyung laughed at her being scolded by her brother but soon yelped in pain as Jin smacked his shoulders.

Jin- Stop laughing you little brat. You both want me to complain about you both to grandfather.

As soon as he said this, Taehyung and Y/n shook their heads no.

Y/n- But Jin oppa he is the one who started it all.

Taehyung- Hyung, I didn't do anything, she was teasing me by calling me a fool.

Y/n- Yes, you are a fool, I stated the truth.

Taehyung- You little monkey, keep your mouth shut.

Hoseok- Stop fighting, both of you, and now if anyone's voice comes, be ready to present yourself before Grandfather.

Y/n- Fine, oppa you always take his side, I'm going to Dad.

Saying this she went to her dad.

Taehyung- Complaint machine.

He muttered under his breath and also went inside the house. Hoseok and Jin followed him.

G/kim- It's final then.

T/m- But d-dad

G/kim- No objections. We know what we have decided and it's best for both of the families.

G/jung- If any of you have any objections then you are free to leave but this decision won't change.

He said in a stern tone as everyone went silent.

T/dad- 

Just then Y/n entered inside calling her father loudly gaining everyone's attention.

Y/n- Dad that Taehyung again t-teased me, he also pulled my hairs, and o-oppa also took his side.

She said and started to fake cry.  Her dad looked at her with amusement.

Y/d- And what my princess did?

He picked Y/n in his arms and questioned her who now started sobbing in his embrace. Everyone was watching her drama as all of them know about Taehyung and Y/n's fights and quarrels.

T/d- I'll surely take his class, so stop crying now hmm.

He said to Y/n as she wiped her tears and nodded her head.

Taehyung- Mom I'm hungry.

He said entering inside as Jin and Hoseok also entered behind him.

T/dad- Hmm you again teased her Taehyung.

He asked Taehyung but he shook his head in denial.

Taehyung- Your little princess started it.

He said as Y/n looked at him with anger in her eyes.

Y/n- You started it.

Taehyung- Don't lie Y/n, you called me a fool first.

Y/n- But you pushed me first.

Their parents looked at them with a done face as they know what's going to happen next. Grandpa Kim who was watching them from the beginning spoke in a stern tone that caught everyone's attention.

G/kim- Both of you will attend art classes on the next weekend. You won't be coming for the outing with us.

As soon as Y/n and Taehyung heard what he said, both of them gazed at Grandpa Kim with their widened eyes.

Y/n- But Grandpa I've done nothing.

Taehyung- Don't act innocent. I'm the victim here.

G/Jung- You want the next outing to be cancelled as well.

He asked raising a brow as both of them immediately shut there mouth still glaring at each other.

Jin and Hoseok silently laughed at their siblings being scolded by the Grandfathers.

Y/mom- Now kids go to your respective rooms and freshen up, I'll arrange the dinner.

Hearing her all four of them silently went to their rooms.

After arranging the dinner Mrs. Jung went in children's room to call them. After they were done eating, she put them to sleep.

Y/m- I don't know when will these two little brats will stop fighting.

T/m- You're right, they're always up for fights and arguments.

Y/m- God knows what goes in their brain.

T/m- I'm sure once they grow up, they'll stop fighting.

Y/m- I wish.

The Kim's and The Jung's families are friends because both the elders of the family are best buddies. They mostly spend vacations together and often have outings on weekends. They were not just neighbors but the best of friends.

 For years, they had shared laughter, tears, and endless memories together. Every Sunday, they would gather at one of their houses for a delightful family dinner.

 This ironic twist of fate turned the once peaceful bond of kinship between the two families into a source of constant turmoil for Taehyung and Y/N. Being forced to spend time together at family gatherings and events, their interactions were often filled with teasing and banter, which only served to fuel the animosity between them.
