As Y/n got discharged from the hospital, Taehyung didn't leave her side for a single minute. He clung to her like a lifeline, afraid that if he left her alone, something terrible would happen.

Y/n, with a weak smile on her face, reassured Taehyung.

Y/n- Don't worry, Tae. Nothing will happen to me anymore.

They sat together on the bed, their fingers intertwined. Taehyung had been through a whirlwind of emotions in the past few weeks. The thought of losing Y/n was unbearable. Now that she was back, he couldn't bear to be apart from her.

But as they sat there, Taehyung's anxiety got the better of him. He couldn't help but express his concerns. 

Taehyung- The thought of losing you, of something going wrong, terrifies me to no end. I can't bear the idea of being away from you again.

Y/n took Taehyung's hand in hers and softly caressed it. 

Y/n- I understand your fear, Tae. But you need to trust in the healing process and have faith in our love. We've been through so much together, and we've always managed to come out stronger. This time won't be any different.

Taehyung sighed, his grip on Y/n's hand tightening. 

Taehyung- You're right, Y/n. I know I need to let go of this fear, but it's just so hard. I can't shake the feeling that something might go wrong if I'm not by your side.

Y/n's eyes filled with understanding and compassion.

Y/n- Tae, I appreciate your concern, but you also need to take care of yourself. You've been stuck in this hospital room with me for weeks, barely getting any sleep or rest. I can't bear to see you suffer like this.

Taehyung lowered his gaze, guilt washing over him. 

Taehyung- I'm sorry, Y/n. I didn't realize I was neglecting myself. It's just that I love you so much, and the thought of losing you... it's unbearable.

Y/n gently cupped Taehyung's face, lifting it so their eyes met. 

Y/n- I love you too, Tae. And your love, support, and presence mean the world to me. Please take care of yourself too, it's what I need from you the most now.

Reaching out, Y/n gently brushed her fingers across Taehyung's cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath her touch. She leaned in and kissed him gently, feeling his lips respond back with equal tenderness.

She pulled away slightly, their foreheads touching as she looked deep into his eyes.

Y/n- I missed kissing you.

Taehyung lightly smiled before taking Y/n in his embrace.

As nightfall slowly engulfed the room, Y/n looked up at Taehyung with a small, hopeful smile. 

Y/n- Could we just cuddle now, Tae?

A warm smile spread across Taehyung's face. 

Taehyung- Of course, little monkey. Let's get you settled in bed, and then we can cuddle to our heart's content.

Taehyung assisted Y/n in getting into the bed. He arranged the pillows around her, ensuring she was nestled in comfortably. As they both settled on the bed, Taehyung wrapped his arms around her.

Taehyung- Rest well, little monkey.

Y/n- I'm so lucky to have you.

She murmured, her voice filled with gratitude.

Taehyung- As am I.

He whispered back, his voice laced with sincerity. He ran his fingers through Y/n's hair, gently tucking it behind her ear. 

Taehyung- What's on your mind, love?

He asked, his voice laced with tenderness. Y/n raised her head, her eyes locking with Taehyung's. 

Y/n- Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you.

She softly admitted, their voice carrying an undeniable affection. A gentle smile played on Taehyung's lips as his arms pulled Y/n closer. 

Y/n- I feel the same way, Y/n. 

He whispered, his words echoing like a sweet melody.

Y/n- Look at the moon, Taehyung,

She pointed at the window, her eyes filled with awe. Taehyung followed her gaze. 

Taehyung- It's as beautiful, just like you.

He replied, his voice full of sincerity. A soft giggle escaped Y/n's lips. 

Y/n- You know just the right words to make my heart flutter, Taehyung.

She admitted playfully.

Y/n- I love these moments with you, Tae. It's just so comforting to have your arms around me.

Taehyung- You know I always love snuggling up with you, Y/n. It's like our own little sanctuary, where nothing else matters.

He grinned, his voice full of adoration.

Y/n- Exactly, like all the worries of the world just vanish when we're locked in each other embrace. 

She teasingly poked Taehyung's side, causing him to squirm and chuckle. 

Y/n- Ticklish, aren't we? 

She giggled.

Taehyung- You have no idea.

He said, retaliating by tickling Y/n's sides. Laughter echoed through the room as their playful banter continued.

Y/n- Taehyung, do you remember how we used to despise each other? Our arguments were never-ending, and our hearts were so distant.

Taehyung intertwined his fingers with Y/n's.

Taehyung- I remember every moment. But love has a way of bending even the most stubborn hearts.

He replied softly.

Y/n- You're right. I can't believe how much we've changed. From enemies to partners, and now to lovers.

Y/n curled closer to Taehyung, her head resting on his chest. 

Y/n- Tell me, Taehyung, what makes you so angry? Why did you choose to fight instead of seeking common ground with me?

Taehyung sighed, his fingers tracing invisible patterns on Y/n's arm. 

Taehyung- I suppose I was afraid. Afraid of letting someone in, of being vulnerable. It was easier to be enemies than to admit that maybe.

He confessed hesitantly. Y/n's heart skipped a beat as she contemplated his words.

Taehyung- I've discovered a piece of myself that I never knew existed.

Y/n- It's just incredible how things have evolved between us. Who would've thought that two people forced to marry could actually find solace in each other's company?

Taehyung affectionately wrapped his arms around Y/n, pulling her closer, as he confessed.

Taehyung- To be honest, Y/n, the more time we spent together as enemies, the more I fell in love with you.

Y/n blushed, her cheeks turning a rosy shade, as she replied.

Y/n- And you gradually melted away the walls I had built around my heart.

She snuggled deeper into Taehyung's embrace, feeling safe and secure in his arms.  She surrendered to the peaceful embrace of slumber. Taehyung stayed awake for a little longer, cherishing the precious moments he had with the woman he cherished above all else. As they drifted off to sleep, entangled in each other's embrace.
