DRUNK
{28}
Y/n stumbled out of the club, giggling uncontrollably. The night had been filled with drinks and laughter, leaving her in a state of blissful intoxication.
Taehyung sighed and made his way towards her, fully aware of the mess he was about to deal with. Y/n was notorious for getting into trouble when she had one too many drinks, and tonight seemed to be no exception. She turned to face Taehyung with a wide grin, her words slurring together.
Y/n- Hey t-there, TaeTae.
She giggled, her breath smelling strongly of alcohol. He rolled his eyes, trying to hide the fact that Y/n's drunken state made his heart race.
Before she could fully register what was happening, Y/n crashed right into Taehyung, causing them both to fall to the ground in a tangled mess. As they landed, she let out a giggle and slurred. Taehyung groaned as he untangled himself from Y/n's limbs, frustration evident on his face.
Taehyung- What on earth are you doing, Y/n? Are you even aware of what you're doing?
She let out another giggle, her words slightly slurred as she replied.
Y/n- Of course, I am!
Teahyung- Why am I the one who has to deal with her?
He grumbled to himself. Approaching her cautiously, he tried to steady Y/n, but she just swayed in his arms.
Y/n- Yah, watch where you're going! Can't you see I'm busy having fun?
She slurred, her words slurring together in a drunken haze. He rolled his eyes, his frustration growing.
Taehyung- You're making a fool of yourself, Y/n. We need to get you home before you cause any more chaos.
She pouted, feigning innocence.
Y/n- Why are you always so boring, Taehyung? Can't we have a little fun for once?
He couldn't help but feel a small pang of annoyance mixed with a strange fondness for her rebellious spirit.
Taehyung- Believe me, Y/n, I wish I could have fun right now, but with you, it's just one disaster after another.
Despite their constant bickering, Taehyung managed to take her to his car and help Y/n inside. Along the way, Y/n's antics continued, directing him to the most random places and insisting on stopping for street food at ungodly hours.

Taehyung- We're home, don't utter a word till we get to our room okay.
He said sternly as she nodded her head like a little child.
As soon as they stepped into the room, Taehyung looked at her with a mix of annoyance and concern as he sighed and stepped forward.
Taehyung- Y/n, why did you have to drink so much?
He muttered, catching her before she could fall.
Taehyung- You know this is going to be difficult to handle.
She chuckled, her words slurred.
Y/n- Oh come on, Taehyung! Where's your sense of adventure? We're enemies turned forced marriage partners, remember? This is just another chapter in our crazy story.
He rolled his eyes, trying not to let her drunken words affect him. He had always found Y/n infuriating, but there was no denying that there was a strange kind of chemistry between them. They were constantly teasing each other, often crossing the line between hate and love.
Taehyung- Y/n, you need to sober up, I can't even begin to imagine what you'll do in this state.
He said firmly, guiding her towards a nearby sofa. She pouted, bringing her finger to his lips. He frozed at her sudden action as her fingers touched his lips.
Y/n- Can't you take care of me, Taehyung? Just for tonight?
He let out a frustrated sigh, his eyes softening slightly. He had always been weak when it came to her, but he didn't want to admit it.
Taehyung- Fine, but only this once. Don't make it a habit.
As the night wore on, Y/n seemed to become even more mischievous. She playfully tugged at Taehyung's hair, giggling uncontrollably as he tried to keep his composure. Their conversation, though fueled by alcohol, took on a conversational tone.
Y/n- Taehyung, you k-know I don't really h-hate you, right? Why were you ignoring me?
She slurred, her eyes wide. He arched an eyebrow, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Taehyung- Oh really? Could've fooled me, Y/n. You always seem to find new ways to annoy me.
She giggled again, leaning in closer to him.
Y/n- Well, maybe deep down I actually l-like you, but we're too s-stubborn to admit it.
His eyes widened in surprise, and he didn't know how to respond. He had never expected Y/n to say something like that, especially not while she was drunk.
Taehyung- Y/n, you're not thinking straight. You're drunk.
He stammered, trying to push back his emotions. She broke into a soft chuckle, her gaze fixed on Taehyung's face.
Y/n- Drunk or not, Taehyung, my feelings are still there. They've always been there.
He couldn't deny the truth in her words, and his heart began to race. He reached out, gently cupping her face.
Taehyung- Why do you always have to be like this?
He asked, his voice softening slightly. She looked up at him, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
Y/n- Because it drives you crazy, TaeTae. Admit it, you love it.
His cheeks flushed a deep shade of red, a mix of embarrassment and frustration. He couldn't deny that her teasing had a strange effect on him, but he couldn't let her know that. Not now. Not ever.
Taehyung- I do not.
He mumbled, averting his gaze. She smirked and inched closer to him, her lips dangerously close to his ear.
Y/n- Oh really? Then why is it that every time we argue, there's this electricity between us? Why do you always have this intense look in your eyes when you see me?
His heart pounded in his chest as her words sank in. It was true. Despite their constant fighting, there was an undeniable attraction between them. But they were enemies, sworn not to let their warring families ever join them together.
Before he could respond, she reached up and planted a soft, drunken kiss on his lips. It was brief, but it left him stunned and longing for more.
Taehyung- What...why did you do that?
He stammered, his mind racing. She shrugged, her eyes sparkling mischievously.
Y/n- Because I wanted to, TaeTae. Admit it, you wanted it too.
Taehyung's head was spinning, torn between his anger and the desire that had always simmered beneath the surface.
