He came out of his thoughts after hearing the soft murmurs of his family members, talking amongst themselves.

Ishan then gazes at how proud they were of him. A small smile appeared on his face as he remembered their support. The upcoming matches then crossed his mind.

His declaration hung in the air. "I've decided to leave for Bangalore for practice. Deodhar trophy is approaching and I need to be there."

His father's eyes widened, pride shining brightly. "Dekho, he is taking bold steps."

His mother's expression shifted from surprise to concern. "Itna jaldi? You just arrived today. Stay for a while, rest and spend time with us."

Ishan softened at her gentle tone. He reassured her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll definitely stay for a few days and then I'll leave."

Her eyes searched his face, ensuring his decision wasn't wavering. "We'll support you always."

Ishan smiled. "I know. Your blessings are always with me."

His father came to him and shared a firm handshake. "Make us proud, Ishan. Your hard work will pay off."

With a deep breath, Ishan knew he was ready for the new challenge.

Aditi's family gathered around her, beaming with pride. Her father patted her, shaking his head. "Our little girl is a Miss Supranational. Kisne socha tha?"

Her mother giggled. "Look at her, so radiant. Our diva, beauty queen."

Aditi blushed, laughing. "Mumma, papa. Stop it! It's still sinking in."

Her father's expression turned serious. "Pata hai, beta, no one is our community has achieved something like this. But I'm proud of you, nonetheless."

"Thanks!" Aditi said, hugging him. "It means everything."

Her mother smiled. "We are grateful for your humility. You are still our same, lovely girl."

Aditi's brother, Yash, asked. "Tell us about the pageant. What was it like?"

Aditi's eyes sparkled. "Oh, it was surreal. The training, gowns, contestants... unforgettable! We had workshops on confidence, speaking and more."

He asked. "What about the contestants? Were they friendly?"

Aditi nodded. "Yes. We bonded over shared experiences. Some are now my close friends."

Her mother then asked. "How did you handled pressure?"

The room turned into a silence as Aditi thought for a while. "I reminded myself why I wanted to be there. To empower women and represent our community."

Her father smiled proudly. "Your hard work paid off. We are proud."

Yash teased. "Now you're famous. Can I get your autograph?"

Aditi playfully rolled her eyes. "Bhaiya, stop!"

After settling in the comforting presence with her loved ones and having a celebratory lunch, Aditi decided to go out for a while, being in her hometown after so long.

Aditi asked. "Mom, may I go and meet my friends in the evening? I won't be late."

Her mother teased from the kitchen. "Our girl still asks for our permission."

Aditi smiled. "Of course, I will ask."

Her father cleared his throat, Aditi turned to took at him. He nodded and said. "Go, have fun. You are here after a long time after all."

She quickly hugged him. "Thanks, guys. Love you."

As she walked to her room to get ready, her mother called out. "Don't forget to take selfies with them."

Aditi stood before her mirror, wearing a white dress adorned with beautiful patterns. Soft sunlight danced across her face as she applied light makeup, enhancing her beauty.

Just as she applied mascara, her brother, Yash sneaked into her room, attempting to scare her. But Aditi, anticipation his usual pranks, saw his reflection in the mirror and smirked.

"Bhaiya, I can see you. Aaj koi prank nhi please."

Yash chuckled, surrendering. He settled into her bed, watching Aditi apply a flawless look.

"You look beautiful," Yash said. "Miss Supranational indeed."

"Taareef? I'll take it. Thanks." Aditi said, her eyes sparkling with disbelief and gratitude.

As they shared a warm moment, Yash's eyes roamed around her room, and it stopped when he spotted her phone. His expression then turned thoughtful as he asked. "You know, I wanted to ask.. tumhara wo cricketing friend kaissa hai?"

Aditi's hands paused, expression turning slightly annoyed as she knew Yash would keep teasing her now. However, a soft smile spread across her face.

"Ishan? He is doing great. His passion for cricket is mind blowing."

Yash's curiosity piqued. "Badhiya! Does he know about your win?"

Aditi nodded. "Yes. Although beech mein choti si argument ho rhi thi but we reconciled and he congratulated me with such warmth."

Yash's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Ooohhh. I'm sure he is thrilled. Maybe he will come to visit us?"

Aditi's playful side emerged as she took her soft cushion and threw at Yash. "Remember, he is my best friend, supporting me wholeheartedly. Don't get too carried away."

Yash chuckled, holding up his hands in mock defense. "Kya? Facts hi toh bata raha hoon. You both have achieved fame and are talk of the town."

Aditi rolled her eyes, a hint of amusement in her expression. "Toh? He is my best friend and that's all matters."

Yash's grin turned teasing. "For now, maybe. But yaad rakhna, Ishan will turn from 'friend' to something more."

Aditi was done, annoyance flickering across her face. She quickly grabbed her handbag, turning to exit her room. "Enough is enough!"

Yash's laughter echoed through the room as he watched Aditi hurrying out.

Ishan stepped out to his balcony, greeted by the night sky. The stars twinkling above and the sky was glowing with bright city lights.

He gazed at the sky, his phone in his hand and a gentle breeze rustling his hair. Few hours back, he had sent a text to Aditi, asking about her evening but she seemed busy.

Deciding to give her some space, Ishan began scrolling through their chats to pass the time. A warm smile spread across his face as he scrolled through their late night conversations, filled with laughter and jokes.

Just as he was lost in the moment, his brother, Raj, appeared beside him, peering over his shoulder at his phone screen.

Raj's eyes widened, a teasing glint sparkling within them. "Oh, you've made a new friend, hmmm?"

Ishan flinched, his pulse quickening as he hid his phone. "Yes, any problem with that?" he asked, a hint of defensive in his tone.

Raj chuckled, settling into the chair. "Nahi, bas puch raha tha."

Raj's expression turned thoughtful. "You know, you can tell me more about her."

Ishan's expression turned enthusiastic. "We met through free fire. She is intelligent, beautiful and confident."

Raj's curiosity was piqued. "Aur batana. What's she like?"

Ishan's face lit up with a small smile. "Bataya toh. Waise, our conversations just flowed."

Raj leaned in, raising an eyebrow. "What do you mean by 'flowed'?"

Ishan clicked his tongue and replied. "We discussed everything. Cricket, life and all. Her passion and dedication is just.. amazing."

Raj nodded, eyes fixed on the balcony's floor. "Wow! Has she achieved something?"

Ishan smirked at him and replied. "She's the Miss Supranational runner up. Can you believe?"

Raj's eyes widened. "That's great! You must be proud, huh?"

Ishan beamed with pride and Raj got his answer.

He then teases Ishan playfully. "Bas friends hi na?"

Ishan chuckled, shaking his head. "Yes! Just friends."

To divert the conversation, Raj asked. "Kal ka kya plan hain abb?"

Ishan grinned. "I'm hanging out with my friends. Pehle jaa ke Yashasvi ko pick up karengey, phir dekhte hain. Ap bhi join kariye humlog ko."

Raj declined. "No, kuch kaam hain kal. You guys have fun."

Ishan nodded, accepting his decline. Just then, Raj got a call. "Duty call. Soon you have to spill the beans about Aditi."

Ishan looked at him with disbelief, slightly annoyed. "There's nothing to spill. Bata diya sab kuch to."

Ishan watched his brother disappear into his room, feeling grateful for the conversation they had. He noticed how Raj was more interested in Aditi.

Curiosity sparked within him as Ishan thought. "I wonder if Aditi's sibling is similar?"

He then gets lost in the night, the breeze carrying distant sounds and the dim balcony lights casting shadows. A small smile appeared on his lips as he took in every detail of the surroundings.

Just when, Ishan decided to retreat into his room, his phone glowed with an incoming text from Aditi.

"Sorry for late reply. Busy day! Was hanging out with family and friends."

Ishan's fingers flew across the keyboard as he typed a response.

"No problem. How's your day?"

Aditi's reply arrived swiftly.

"Wonderful! Had a great time with my friends and family."

Their conversation continued as they discussed more about each other's day.

"Why are you leaving for Bangalore so soon? Can't you take a break?"

Ishan's response was quick, his enthusiasm evident.

"Deodhar trophy aane wala hai. It's crucial and I need to stay focused."

Aditi's eyes widened, impressed by Ishan's dedication.

"I didn't realise it was that close. Pressure ho raha hoga na kitna."

"Haan, but that's what keeps me going. Every match is a chance to prove myself."

Aditi's thoughts drifted to the sacrifices he made for it.

"The constant travel, training and pressure to perform. I can't imagine that. It's not easy, Ishan."

Ishan could picture Aditi's empathetic smile.
