so, you weren't too scared to bring this in. I admit I thought you might think it was a bomb, or the head of your mother. Haha. I wouldn't do that to you, unless you deserved it. And you don't deserve it, right?

Let's keep it that way.

Tomorrow, I want you to wear this and meet me at The Vineyard. You know the place, it's across from your university. I'm sure I don't have to tell you to come alone. It's proper etiquette for a date, after all. And if I spot you with a friend, I'll disappear. And you wouldn't want that, would you? After all, it would be hell for you, in the days following.

See you at 8 o'clock. Don't be late.

Confused, Jessie looks inside the box again. What they hadn't noticed before, now glinted in the harsh light.

Laying in the palm of Jessie's hand, is a teddy bear charm. It's attached to a ratty piece of pink thread.

Jessie is thrown back to the past, in fourth grade. One day, when Jessie went to grab their coat after school, something fell to the ground out of their cubby.

When Jessie picked it up, they were delighted to find that it was a small metal charm shaped like a bear.

Examining the cubby, Jessie found a post it note with the words "I like you" written on it.

"Hey! That's cool."

Jessie drops the charm in horror.

Yeol, he was there when Jessie got it. In fact, as far as Jessie knows, he's the only one that knew about it.

Was that the hint?
