Harry's pov:

"Harry Potter... I love you."

My eyes widened and I just looked at Draco for a second processing what he just said. "Draco.. you? You love me?" He smiled and nodded, "Harry I think I've always loved you. You don't have to say it back, I know you're not there yet-"

"I love you too Draco." I knew I did, I knew continuing to push away Draco wasn't going to make me feel or heal better any faster. He looked at me shocked, "wait really?!" I just chuckled, nodding with teary eyes. "Yes Draco I love you. I realize pushing you away and holding you in this spot isn't going to help me any. Draco Malfoy, will you please let me take you on a date? This weekend?"

He smiled, "YES! I would love that! Can I kiss you?" I smiled softly, I didn't really think he needed to ask me every-time, but I thought it was absolutely adorable how much he wanted me to be comfortable. "Only if I can kiss you back?" He literally giggled and sent butterflies straight to my stomach as he connected our lips, and once again I was kissing him.

"Ronald Bilius Weasley. Hermione Jean Granger. Let's go." I said grabbing their hands, they knew not to mess around or ask questions when I used full names. I apparated us to Grimmauld Place and marched in quickly announcing my arrival. "Harry? Hermione, Ron! Hey, what's wrong Harry?" Remus asked shortly after seeing us.

I blushed, keeping my head down, staring straight at the floor. "Iaskeddracoonadateandidontknowwhattodo." I looked up slowly and everyone was staring at me before laughing. "Harry slow down, come sit." Remus grabbed my hand, and pulled me to the couch, he motioned that he'd be right back.

He grabbed Teddy and Sirius and walked down with both of them. He plopped Teddy into my lap and I cooed at my sweet Godson. "Hi Teddy! I missed you little guy! I am loving the blue hair! Sirius he has blue hair! He's growing so much! Also hi Sirius! I asked Draco on a date!" I rambled on and on and all four of the people around me stared shocked. "I need help!"

Everyone started laughing and Sirius handed Remus five galleons as Ron handed Hermione ten, four of which she handed off to Sirius. I glared at them all. "Okay who bet what with who."

"Well I bet moony that Draco would ask you first because you're spineless, but moony said you'd ask Draco first because you're too much like prongs." Sirius said huffing, "but me and Hermione had a bet going for awhile as to how it would all go down and she bet that it would take you six months but I bet three therefore I was closer and won that one."

Hermione nodded, "and Ronald bet ten galleons that Draco would ask you first because he's impatient. I knew you were only pushing Draco away because you are afraid to get hurt. So I bet that you'd ask him first." Ron nodded in agreement looking annoyed.

"You guys are completely ridiculous and way too obsessed with my love life. Now help me plan this date please!"

It took us over an hour to discuss how things would go. I demanded that I take him on a date since I made him wait for me. I wanted this to be absolutely perfect, I spent too much time pushing him away. Both because I didn't want to hurt him, and I didn't want hurt.

It's about damn time I started living this life for myself and now for everyone else. Ron smiled at me in a weird way, and I tilted my head in question. "I'm proud of you, you know?" I smiled, "for what?" I questioned him further, me and Ron didn't have many heart to hearts these days. He always knew when I needed one though.

"You've finally started to realize this is your show now. You're finally living for you and I love that. You're my best mate, and I wouldn't care if you wanted Lucius Malfoy himself. I am just glad to finally see you're happy." I chuckled at the Lucius part, but smiled sweetly at my best mate. "I would never go within a broomsticks distance of Lucius bloody Malfoy, but I appreciate your sentiment Ron. I love you."

"I love you too Harry." Hermione could be heard sniffling and she hugged me tightly. "I love you as well Harry, and Ron's right I'm so glad you're happy. Just don't forget us." I laughed loudly at this, "Hermione Jean Granger, you are the brightest witch of our age. Somedays I'm truly convinced you're the brightest witch there's ever been. You should know by now, Mrs. Books and Cleverness, that the most important thing is Friendship and Bravery. I couldn't ever forget you two, I'm not even sure an obliviate would allow me. You guys are my family just as much as Remus, Sirius, and Teddy are."

Everyone spoke softly about how much we all loved each other, "dada da."

I have never in my life seen so many heads snap up at once. "REMUS! REMUS HE JUST SAID HIS FIRST WORD OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS. OH MY GOODN-NESS GRACIO-"

Hermione rushed over to take care of Sirius who just passed out and the other three of us just cooed at the boy who was babbling 'dadas' over and over as we all repeated it back to him. I smiled at my family, as I thought of them and of Draco. I was so damn happy in this moment seriously, for the first time in so long. I, Harry Potter, was genuinely happy.
