Now that Luffy and Sabo knew that Ace is awake and alright, they needed to get back to work and school. So, with heavy hearts they leave Ace alone. The black-haired male has to stay in the hospital a few more days so that they can run a few more tests.
He's back here, in the white room. Nothing but white one white on white. He closes his eyes as he lets out a sigh. Exactly what is the point of this? All he can do is look out the window and wonder. Maybe go on his phone, but he doesn't even know where it is.
  He stares off into the distance, trying to remember when it started to snow last year. It'll snow soon. A faint smile crosses his lips, before it falls. If he's still stuck in here, he can't be outside for the first snowfall. It's like he's still a kid. Waiting for his parents to tell him he can go play.
  It dawns on him that Luffy had said that (Y/n) left him a letter, so he turns and looks at the envelope. A lump forms in the back of his throat, the heart monitor showing the increased speed. Man, it'd be hard to lie on this thing. He drags his eyes away from the paper, he can't read it yet.
  Ace lets out another breath. It seemed that since he woke up all of his breaths have been heavy sighs. He just hopes that she's okay. That he's learned his lesson about abusing her. She doesn't deserve it. She deserves so much more. Ace isn't saying that he would be what she deserves, but she deserves better than that man she's with now.
  He just wants her to be happy with someone who would treat her kindly, love her with all their heart, see her for what she is and what she will become. He guesses everyone should be with people like that, but some of the population isn't that lucky.
  Life isn't fair. It pits everyone against everyone else. Yet, we're supposed to treat everyone with respect. He shakes his head, it's those thoughts that will force him to go to his therapist more often. He already has to check in and tell him what happened. Get evaluated again.
  No one is okay, and hospitals don't help treat that.
