My feet pounded against the wet pavement. I had to get away. I had to get to Sky's house, before he caught me. There's no telling what Luke will do to me if he catches me. Damn older brother...
Sky's house came into view. I was going to make it! Then I heard the sound of a car behind me. I tried to go faster. The car was getting closer, and I heard the window slide open.
"COME BACK HERE YOU!!!!" I heard Luke shout.
I just went faster. My breath was coming in ragged gasps, and I could tell that soon I would start to slow down.
"SKYYYYYY!!!!" I screamed as something hit me on the side of my head. I felt blood stream down my face, and the pavement rushed up to meet me. Then everything went black.
