ONE

Jay was furious. He crossed his arms tightly across his chest and tapped his left foot as fast as lightning. His narrowed eyes glared at the open door of the fridge. Something Jay had left for him and HIM only was missing. Jay knew exactly who the culprit was and he wasn't going to get off this easily.

"Cole!" Jay shrieked, eyes flaring up with an invisible flame.

Cole, from his room, widened his eyes, "Oh no..." He gulps and stares down at the pudding in his slightly chocolate covered hands.

He quickly scrambles off his bed and looks around his room frantically. He quickly finished the pudding and runs to his cupboard. He throws open the door and chucks the empty pudding cup in, throwing some clothes over it to hide the evidence.

Jay growls and heavily stomps to Cole's room, his hands clenched into a fist, small sparks flickering lightly. He slams open Cole's door to see him laying casually on his bed, headphones on and hair slightly ruffled.

Jay stomps to the end of Cole's bed and points an accusing finger at Cole, "I know you did it!" He glares at Cole.

Cole sweats slightly and takes his headphones off, tilting his head to his friend, "did what exactly?" He faked his innocence.

Jay huffs childishly, "You ate my last pudding cup!"

Cole sits up on his bed and crosses his arms, placing his hand in his lap to hide some of the evidence, "I'm sure you just didn't look properly. It's probably in the back of the fridge." His voice shakes slightly and raises an octave.

Jay peers with narrowed eyes at Cole, leaning in accusingly and looking at his face. Jay's Blue eyes catch sight of something on Cole's face. Chocolate. Jay growls and wipes the chocolate of Cole's face quickly and puts it in Cole's line of sight, "Oh you didn't eat it? Then what's this?!"

Cole gulps and his shoulders drop, "You got me.."

Jay huffs and wipes the chocolate away, "I can't believe you ate my pudding cup...Again!"

Cole stands up, "Look! If it bothers you so much I'll go and get you some more, Okay?!" He crosses his arms with a frown.

Jay's eyes instantly light up, "Really?!" He coughs and his glare returns. "I mean, you better!"

Cole sighs, "I'll leave now and be back within an hour or so. Don't...eat my cake." He glares at Jay who rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah. I'm not you, now go!"

Cole rolls his eyes and walks out of his room and jumps off the edge of the Bounty's deck. He summons his dragon and starts his journey to get Jay's dear Pudding Cup.

Jay on the other hand smirks and makes his way to the fridge, "He's gonna regret ever eating my pudding."

~One hour later~

Jay sits on the couch with a hand over his stomach. HE sighs and stares at the roof, one leg swinging in boredom. "Where is he?" He furrows his eyebrows and fumbles with his pants pocket, trying to get his phone out.

He looks down at his hands as he gets his new phone out. The other one having been destroyed during a fight with some thugs the other day. He opens the phone and starts to punch in Cole's number by memory.

As he lifts the phone up to his ear he licks some leftover crumbs off his finger from Cole's previous cake. He hears the phone stop ringing and some shuffling from the other side. "Hey Cole, How long does it take to get my pudding cup?"

There was a pause on the other side before a famine voice speaks out, "Uh, Sorry but this isn't Cole...I think you have the wrong number"

Jay is silent as his eyes grow big in a daze. How had he gotten the wrong number when he knew Cole's by heart? And who was this chick on the other end? She seemed pretty straight forward. Jay clears his throat, knowing he had been quiet for a little too long, "I-Uh, S-Sorry about that. I was just c-calling my friend because he – uh- he ate my pudding cup which clearly had my name on it, so I sent him to get another one while I ate his cake...." He mentally face palms, "S-sorry again. I shouldn't have told you that." Stupid, stupid, stupid.

The voice on the other end lets out a small laugh, "Hey, No problem. You seem like you have someone to hunt down. I'll leave you too that."

Jay sighs in relief and some disappointment, to which he doesn't know why, "Thanks. I'll uh...go now."

The voice chuckles, "Alright. Bye..." And with that she hung up. No name. No nothing. Jay sighs and slumps into the couch. "Why am I so stupid?"

Jay doesn't even perk up at the sound of the front door squeaking open, "honey, I'm home~!" Cole's joking voice sings out and jay just shakes his head, "You better have my pudding cup"

Cole walks in and smiles to Jay before halting in shock, horror, "YOU AT MY CAKE?!"

Jay gulps and looks to the table in front of him. Laying on top was a plate with chocolate crumbs. He looks back up to Cole while smiling sheepishly, "Friend?"

Cole growls, "You're dead."
